I have been off the Lexapro for the last two days and have noticed that it has, thankfully, disappeared. Also, my moderate joint pain has lessened up also.

OK, went off Lexapro 15 days ago. OMG - I feel like I have the flu. I am taking 5mg every other day per Dr instructions, but I swear, every bone in my body hurts. Each joint hurts more than the last. I have had the Brain Zaps/Dizziness, and the crying jags, the sweating and diarrhea, but I can't seem to find anyone else experiencing the muscle & joint pain thing. I have headache so bad, it hurts to touch the OUTside of my head - just finger pressure hurts.

I've been taking Lexapro for almost a month...5mg for ten days & now 10mg. In addition to being exhausted, I'm unable to focus, muster an ounce of creativity or patience, and having substantial joint pain. My doc is encouraging me to stay the course but I'm hesitant to do so. I'm here wondering if these are side effects anyone here has had temporarily as they acclimated to the drug.

I have been on lexapro since January of last year, but for the past 2-3 months i have been experiencing joint pain in my fingers and sometimes a weakness in my ( i quess muscles) in my arms and am wondering if anyone else is experiencing these symptoms from taking anti anxiety medications or am i just starting with arthistis!

Depression has made me gain 20 pounds in a year, and NOT from "just eating." I have spent the whole year trying to work it off - to no avail. I go to the gym, I don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, I do some form of exercise at least 3 days a week, and I am taking 300 mg of Wellbutrin. I'm losing it because of the limited results from working out as well as the "miracle weight loss drug" Wellbutrin. EVERYONE seems to lose weight on it!

Can taking Lexapro 10mg cause stomach pain? I have only taken the medication for 4 days and have stomach problems already. Plus I take medication for acid reflux and have for several years.

I started having joint pain a couple of weeks after gall bladder surgery. It is continually getting worse and in my shoulders, wrists and right jaw. My left hip joint has gotten better. As you know i took 20mg isotretinoin for 15 days and pain started in my right hip joint. Went to Arthopedic and he said it is infection. im now on antibiotics (one week on IV augmenten + oxidil and then on ciprofloxacin 500 twice) for last 5 weeks. Today i suddenly feel same kind of pain in my left groin (front of hip joint) . im wondering if there was infection in right hip joint how can that infection travel to my left joint even im on antibiotics.

Hello Everyone, My concern is as follows: the only exposure I have is unprotected oral performed on other men. Since the beginning of the year i have been experiencing pain on my both knees that come and go and well, I'd like to know how does ars joint pain feel like. The doctor diagnosed some patellar disfunction but I doubt it, since I only started running last year and I read professional runners are those who get it. Or something.

Alternatively, your physician might be able to recommend other treatments, possibly including injections into the joint itself or surgery, that can improve your joint pain.

I have joint pain in my knees and elbows, weakness in knees after kneeling down and trying to stand up. I have numbness that comes and goes in my feet. My chemo/raidiation treatments ended a year ago. Are these aches and pains caused by the after effects of the drugs and radiation? I also have trouble taking antibiotics or pain meds. I seems to get every side effect listed. Alcohol of any type bothers me also. I use to enjoy a glass of wine but no longer.

I've been having pain in my fingers, knees, hips and ankles for about a year, maybe a bit longer. I'm 28 years old and live a pretty active life. I've looked up joint pain on the internet and all I find is arthritis, but I really don't think that's what I have. Any help?

Maybe you could ask to be put on .175 instead. Seems kind of drastic to go from .2 to .15 when there's a dose in between those two. I'd ask why there was such a drastic dose reduction and tell the doctor about your new symptoms. Do you know what your TSH was and the range?

I had horrible joint pain prior to tx. in all the same places you did,but once starting tx all pain went away. I experienced a horrible resurgence of pain 1 mth post tx.and i just figured i had relapsed, but that was not the case. I txd 96 wks i i feel it had something to do with stopping tx suddenly after being on pegasys for so long without a break. The pain went away 3rd mth post tx. and has never returned. 17mth svr now.
