levothyroxine yogurt

Anybody else addicted to yogurt?OmG the harvest peach is my ultimate flavor.I dont like milk other than drinking it with my cereal so i have to get calcium in other ways.Its crazy because before my pregnancy i couldn't stand the texture or tast of yogurt and now i eat about two a day.

Is it true your not supposed to eat yogurt while you are pregnant??

, My chocolate lab loves yogurt, she has yogurt with me all the time or I put some in a Kong and freeze it, she loves it, it this good for her or not?

4) and put on generic levothyroxine. I took it for three weeks.....had dull headaches, extreme fatigue, weight gain (4 pounds), over-anxiousness and finally called my doctor and told him the symptoms and said that I really do not feel together mentally either. The doctor told me to stop the meds and see how I feel after that. I feel better without the meds. Did any one else have headaches and weight gain on levothyroxine?

My Doctor told me that I can consume dairy like milk, yogurt, etc. one hour after taking Levothyroxine, but the medication says that I should wait 4 hours before consuming iron/calcium. I don’t know if I should just wait 4 hours or 1 hour before consuming dairy.

I began taking the smallest dose of levothyroxine a few months ago. I know I'm not supposed to eat about an hour after I take it. However, I seem to have a problem with getting myself to take the medication when I wake up everyday, especially at the same time. So sometimes I will eat and than wait an hour or two and take it and not eat for another hour for it to absorb. I was wondering if this is still effective, or if what I'm doing is pointless?

For the 1st hour or so after I take my levothyroxine (synthroid) .175mcg, I get a shaky feeling, as time goes on, it dissipates. . .is this "relatively" normal, or is it something that I should mention to my doctor. I have a list of questions to ask him, but I'm loathe to ask too many silly ones of out of fear of being labeled a difficult or crazy patient. (i like & trust my doctor, but i fear that i'm one nutty question away from the edge.) thanks all!

Anyone know the difference between the baby yogurt and normal yogurt? Is there a difference at all? I know there's a difference in price, and for some reason the baby yogurt isn't refridgerated, but that's all I can find. Is it ok to give my son the normal yogurt? He's 8 1/2 months old, and eating finger foods, and stage 3 baby food.

I eat Greek yogurt all the time and I'm 37 weeks with a healthy baby boy. I've never heard that Greek yogurt is bad during pregnancy, I've heard the opposite that it's really good for you and baby during pregnancy.

Doc said Ribivarin can bring out illnesses that have remained dormant (for lack of medical term). Now on Levothyroxine 25mg for life. But I will say this has helped so much with the fatigue. I already am suffering from Anemia so fatigue is my enemy! Week 9 of Procrit (40,000) and 2 transfusions...ugh! In addition I was a little lactose inolerent prior to treatment, now I'm full blown and looking at a carton of yogurt gives me a stomach ache.

There may be some weight gain/difficulty losing weight -- but this is usually more than just thyroid, so correcting the thyroid may not automatically correct/address the weight. Using levothyroxine is the standard of care in these cases -- consider an endocrine evaluation to confirm.

While my old one was on antibiotics we were giving them soy yogurt and discovered she took her pills no problem when hidden in the yogurt. Recently though I was told soy is bad for dogs. First of all, I apologize if this seems like a silly question - my oldest son (now 4 years old) didn't have yogurt until he was well over a year old. I've been thinking about how to add variety (and extra good fats) to my younger son (8 months nearly 9 months old)'s diet due to the fact that he's a bit on the small side and slow to gain weight - but healthy - and I thought that maybe I could start giving him a bit of yogurt now and then.

I posted on 6/17/2015 regarding my concerns over having had one episode of AFib and being concerned with the levothyroxine causing another episode. The only TSH info I had at that time was that my level was 5.6. This was taken on 5/7/2015. I just received my lab results in the mail for blood work done on 6/11/2015. She ordered at Free T3 and T4 screening on this one. In my last post you requested the results. There was no ferritin tested and my vitamin D is ok.

He was started on a 50mg dose of levothyroxine . The difference of his over all health was amazing he began to feel hungry again his breathing improved. And he was becoming more active. After about 4_6 weeks he had another repeated blood test done to check his levels and surprisingly the doctor said that his thyroid still was not functioning properly and his dose of levothyroxine was increased to 100mg. This dose made him extremely sick. Bloated . Full of trapped air. Tired and constipated.

The doctor put me on Levothyroxine, and now after 3 and a half months, I have indigestion approximately 3 times a week, bloated stomach, and balance problems. Why should I take this medication when before I started taking it, I had no symtoms? Can I stop taking this medication?
