Then they retested yesterday 11/05/09 and my numbers went up to 514 in under 24 hours. Is this a good sign? Im thinking I am about 5 weeks along but not exactly positive becasue i dont really remember when my period was and im very irregular. I found out I was pregnant last Thursday n my hcg level is only 514 but they said by next week it should be at 8000 then they will be able to see a sack on the internal ultra sound. Hi, mine was low when i was supposed to be at 6 weeks (514). They just said I either ovulated later or was not as far as I thought. But common my last period was March 12th, how could I think i'm farther? So last week another Dr told me she didn't like the fact that they were low and sent me for another test. I should have those results tommorow. Thing is it takes them a few days to get the results back so its hard for me to check if they increase with such a long wait.

I have been taking levothyroxine 137 mcg once a day for a couple of years. Can I stop taking it all at once or do I gradually have to get off of it?

He was started on a 50mg dose of levothyroxine . The difference of his over all health was amazing he began to feel hungry again his breathing improved. And he was becoming more active. After about 4_6 weeks he had another repeated blood test done to check his levels and surprisingly the doctor said that his thyroid still was not functioning properly and his dose of levothyroxine was increased to 100mg. This dose made him extremely sick. Bloated . Full of trapped air. Tired and constipated.

The doctor put me on Levothyroxine, and now after 3 and a half months, I have indigestion approximately 3 times a week, bloated stomach, and balance problems. Why should I take this medication when before I started taking it, I had no symtoms? Can I stop taking this medication? I'm thinking that perhaps I was born with this thyroid problem, and it was not a problem until I started taking the medication.
