I take prenatal vitamins, chlorophyll for iron and calcium pills.

I have only heard that you should talk to your doctor about any extra vitamins you take besides your prenatal. I have wanted to take garlic gel pills and omega 3, etc but I haven't because I don't want to worry that my baby is getting too much of something. They sat your body will filter out extra stuff, but its better to be safe rather than sorry.

It contains DHA and a stool softener. Most OTC prenatals do not contain these additives, you would have to purchase seperately. You can call an OB office to consult a prenatal nurse to see what prenatal vitamins they recommend, or ask your local pharmacist.

I didn't take vitamins. Prenatal vitamins made me sick. Take a prenatal vitamin if u want, and the Dr. Should have done blood tests to see how good Ur iron and everything is. I wouldn't take anything that the Dr. Doesn't tell me.

My RE prescribed prenatal vitamins and Expecta (DHA). The prenatal vitamins are free at most pharmacies and the Expectra is around $12/13. Your RE may have prescribed you a brand name one that doesn't have a generic? My pharmacist was helpful with trying to suggest alternatives that saved me money. Good luck!

so my doctor did give me some prenatal vitamins that I refuse to take everyday. They're way too big so I'll buy my own.

Please advise good, small prenatal vitamins with right combination of all necessary vitamins and minerals plus dha. Asking for too much?! :-) maybe someone knows a good option! In USA.

Thank you so much ! Before I started my prenatal I was just taking two daily vitamins and an iron pill and felt fine . but my prenatal have me nasusea. And every time I eat in the morning I throw it all up, I might try at night time.

I see people on this all the time talking about prenatal vitamins and im wondering should I be taking them? The only thing my doctor told me to get was folic acid and now im worried incase I should have been taking something else all along? :/ ... Should i get them? And also what kind? I dont have a clue about these things :( I dont see my doctor until the 26th..

Prenatal vitamins are very good for u and the baby, it provides protein and other nutrients that the baby needs to have and keeps you and especially the baby strong.

I'm taking Fred Myer brand prenatal. And I can't believe I'm going to say this but when I get sick they taste like tropical punch and I don't get heart burn after.

If you are unable to take due to nausea, try taking at night before bed... prenatal vitamins (frolic acid especially) is very important for brain development in your growing baby :) good luck!

I have been taking the Prenatal Vitamins as per the directions on the bottle and taking it with food. I was taking it during the day but they were making me too nauseated. So, I started taking them at night with food and they are still making me sick. So, I was wondering if anyone has ever used the liquid prenatal vitamins. I have read that they are gentle on the stomach but wasn't sure if they work as good or if they have chewable prenatal vitamins.

I asked my doctor if i could take prenatal and regular vitamins together and she said yes and I'm 10 weeks but now my stomach hurts and i feel like i could vomit what should i do????

I was thinking about goin to a health food store and getting some. I've had bad morning sickness too and I was anemic before I got pregnant and my iron pills made me sick and I couldn't take em.

If you dont mind spending a little bit more for a better prenatal. I use baby&me prenatal. Its about $30 for a month off amazon. And the pills are large. However, i absolutly love this brand! I tried a half a dozen linds before this including samples the doctor gave and they all made me sick. This one i had no side effects from. Its also made from whole foods instead of synthedic ingredients.
