I took zithromax at 5 weeks with 2 pregnancies., I don't know about the levaquin, I never took that.

I was on zithromax for 5 days and levaquin after the zithromax. I was tested at 3 weeks and at 7 weeks, both negative. I have felt like I have had swollen glands since the day I hooked up with her. I know that 13 weeks is conclusive, but how promising are my prior results? Will being on those antibiotics effect my results?
No change in bowel or bladder except he recently has been on levaquin for second episode of prostatitis (first episode 20 years ago).

I took one of these for seven days. I also took 2g of tablet form Zithromax, in one dose, the day after I ended the Levaquin. Yesterday (two days after the Zithromax), while I was urinating, I noticed a white thick discharge in the toilet. When I squeezed my penis, some more milky discarge came out. It looked like a small pile of semen in the toilet.
t know why he ordered Levaquin vs another ATB. Tinnitus and the being off balance are two different symptoms. One is not causing the other. Have you read the side effects from Levaquin? There are quite alot, and I believe this drug has been "black boxed" in the USA. However, I am not so sure this caused your problems or your problems are unrelated to the Levaquin.
However, I did have intensified gut and neuro symptoms as well as anxiety, all of which are attributed to Bartonella. I am still on Levaquin for it even though my anxiety is gone.
I got tested and was given 1 gram of zithromax and 7 days of levaquin. That was on monday night i was treated and then that saturday morning I had unprotected sex with an uninfected partner. Is it possible I could have infected the partner? They told me the zithromax would wipe it out right away but it seems from reading these forums that that could not be the case. Had vaginal and oral sex about 30 days ago. Within 24hrs I developed a mild burn/irritation in my urethra and head of penis. I have no visible signs (discharge or redness). It slightly burns when urinating but nothing severe. I've been on a week of Doxy and a week of levaquin-currently on my 3rd day of Zithromax and it still persist. I have an ear infection needing antibiotics (Levaquin. 500mg). The pharmacist said that these two meds are contraindicated. My cardiologist said to go off of Flecainide for 2 weeks while taking the Levaquin.
The bad news is that I am scared to go off on a med that I have been taking for a long time. The good news is that I will find out if the meds are causing my daily symptoms of nausea, extreme fatigue, sleepiness and I don't need anti arrhythmic agents for A-Fib.

QUESTIONS Since 1st post
ONE - Cold i had turned to Brochitus, Dr prescribed 750mg Levaquin 10 days. Can Levaquin interfere with RNA test?
TWO - Only symptoms I have are Bronchitus, nasuea that lasts 10 minutes comes & goes around dinner time, shooting nerve pain in abdomen, racing feeling & red face for a few days. No fever, swollen nodes as far as I can tell. Do not remember Levaquin causing me nausea when I have taken it before?
I immediately went to urgent care where as a precaution they administered Zithromax and Rocephin (in case it was gonorrhea and chlamydia). Three days later I went to a doctor located at my work because the symptoms had not subsided, and she conducted a Urine Analysis which came back negative, but she did administer ciprofloxacin as a precaution to a potential UTI.
We both coincidentally were getting sick, so both of us did take 1g of Zithromax in a single dose, followed by 250mg each of the next 2 days.
We both also took a 500mg Levaquin a couple days later.
My concern was could I have gotten something if one of the girls had say Chlamydia or Gonorrhea if she touched herself, and then later masturbated me without a condom?
Also, I have NO symptoms at all, and so was wondering is this just a coincidental thing?
The recommendation for Zithromax is inappropriate. There is no such thing as a "stronger": antibiotic. That is nonsense. There are only antibiotics that affect the replication of different species of bacteria. In the case of tb, for example, there are 16,000 varients of the bacteria. There are bacteria that are anaerobic and those that are not. There gram positive and gram negative. As for the side effects file a drug reaction form at the FDA site.
I went back to the doctoe and was given zithromax and also a perscription for levaquin. I was told by my doctor that cultures taken from my penis with the swab tests I was given and urine examinations showed no evidence of chlamydia, gonorrhea, or a UTI. I have been sexually aroused at times during this situation and haven't had sex since I noticed these problems.
So far Its 50/50 with the medicines success.
While in the UK I came down with symptoms of frequent urination, burning, itching, and discharge. I immediately found a clinic, tested, and treated (Zithromax, 1 dose; and second, 4 doses but I do not recall name). The symptoms subsided after 2 weeks while back in the States and then cleared up. The clinic called and I tested negative. Prior to my trip, though, I had been treated with antibiotics for a sinus infection/sore throat unrelated to this incident.
