My mouth feels sore my tounge is coated in White stuff I tried everything from trash medicine to stereoid spray to lansoprazole nothing seems to work. My whole mouth feels sore my cheeks tounge my throat is red my nose feels always blocked pls does anyone know what that might be. I also had a blood test done for infections my gp told me that was negative but my bf started to complain with same symptoms.

Almost after every time I eat, within a few hours or sometimes minutes, I'm feeling sick, stomach has bloated and in agony, my burps taste of sick and either I end up being sick or its the other end. I used to be so regular and now I'm not. If I don't go within a day, the next I burp the taste of rotting food. I've been to the doctors & everything has come back fine.

ve visited gave me antiacid medication as well as gastro resistant capsules (omeprazole, lansoprazole, gaviscon, buscopan) and I never felt better, sometimes even worse.
Last days the pain got really worse and I ended up in the hospital but they gave me only codeine and paracetamol and via my GP organized scan and endoscopy.
Anyway, a month later, (yesterday) I was prescribed lansoprazole but I have done some research and it says lansoprazole can cause kidney failure. Should I take these tablets or wait till Friday and get a second opinion from the hospital on my assessment?
Does anyone know if it is ok to release the medicine out of capsules and mix the medicine up in juice? I have a problem swallowing pills and was not sure if this was an option????
I had 3 operations in the first 5 years without success (it just came back) but a breakthrough came 4 years ago when my ENT specialist put me on lansoprazole, a PPI, believing that it was probably due to acid reflux (although I had no symptoms). The granuloma disappeared over the next 6 months.
However, it sometimes comes back, or at least the symptoms do, every few months, but go again after 2 or 3 weeks. But over the last week or so symptoms have come back with a vengeance.
pylori after having a breath test done, and have been prescribed by my doctor - lansoprazole 30 mg - metronidazole 400 mg - amoxicillin 500 mg. All three medacation taken twice a day for a 7 day course.I am now into the 5 th day of taking them.There seems to be no side effects, the problems of bloating,discomfort (painfull at times) that comes and goes througout the day,has not eased at all.
If these combanation of tablets were going to work,would my symptons have eased by now ?.
m back on Ranitidine as the side affects of Lansoprazole were unpleasant and just as bad or worse as the GERD. When I stopped taking Lansoprazole I had bad symptoms for a few days but they subsided. However since then my Acid Reflux / GERD has been more or less what it was before starting Lansoprazole. Some days its worse than others.
I've also read about the negative side effects of PPI drugs.
My doc prescribed me Lansoprazole gastro resistant as there has been blood in my vomit recently. Has anyone taken it or know anything about it?
I was diagnosed with a duodenal ulcer back in February 2010.
History:
Prior to the diagnosis I had felt a strange pressure in my stomach occasionally which started around October 2009. I probably should have gone to the doctor when I was feeling the swelling/pressure but I thought it was just from being cramped into the Miata I had just purchased. I bought the car because some guy ran a red light and hit my previous car.
Tried various OTC for acid reduction and acid blockers under original suspicion of ulcers (lansoprazole, mylanta,) these only caused further loose and irregular bowel symptoms. (Now discontinued). GI suggested IBgard after suggesting IBS, in which after finding out the daily cost I am using peppermint oil gel capsules. These calm my gut does not remove the pain. I have a Xanax prescription as needed for anxiety taken to help me sleep when the pain keeps me awake.
So she went to the doctors and prescribed Lansoprazole. About a week and a half after the Lansoprazole was prescribed she started to shake. And for about a half a week now its been getting worse and worse. Now she is also having trouble seeing, and is experiencing ear ache's and headaches. While she is still shaking. What could be the issue?
Paediatric i'm afraid! I have a 7 month old, who has delayed gastric emptying (t1/2 180) and was on lansoprazole, she developed faltering growth - from 6 wks slid down growth charts.
my son was taking godex capsules 4 2caps 2xaday which is supposed to be for 2mos. to take but for financial problem my son did not continue his medication. and i would like to ask if he can continue his medicine continously any time? thank u and god bless !

Went back to the doctor, who told me I probably wouldnt want an endoscopy and put my on LANSOPRAZOLE to block acid. I still get these weird spasms. I'm kind of troubled they didnt bother to do an endoscopy. Could this be a serious problem, should I change doctors? He did take a chest xray of the gas in my body and said it all looked normal ( no odd shapes ) uhmm I guess he is the best doctor in town.
I went to the doctor who imedietly suggested it could be an ulcer and prescribed me 30mg Lansoprazole, which I took for and immediately this sensation vanished no matter what I ate.
they say its indigestion but i am on lansoprazole which by the way i have never had indigestion the way they describe it. the pain in my chest goes all the way to my arm, jaw and even my throat.if all the tests are saying my heart is ok then what could it be.. i am not stressed or anxiuos by the way as i have a very loving a supportive family system and husband... what could it be.. please help

m 5ft 7. I have been taking the Proton Pump Inhibitor Drug Lansoprazole for my Hiatus Hernia/Acid Reflux for roughly 3 years now. I started with 30mg per day and the past year I had to up my dose to 60mg per day due to my severe acid reflux.
For the past 12 months I have been experiencing what can only be described as Fatigue, brain fog and exhaustion. It is the type that isn't helped by sleep, rest, or even suggested by my doctor, excercise. Infact the latter only makes it 10x worse.
Has doubled the dose of Lansoprazole which has not made too much difference really. I have completely adjusted my diet having bought fantastic book "Dropping Acid - The Reflux Diet Cookbook & Cure". The coughing is less severe and I am not doing the sleep apnea thing now, which is an improvement. Throat is less sore and have been drinking aloe vera. However, am now experiencing constant tight chest; sudden head pains, extreme tiredness; dizziness & hot spells.
hi started burping constantly since may 2007 dont know what to do? Been on lansoprazole for 3 months but no change. what shall i do?? Please help!
