2 weeks ago I made the switch to invega. I am currently drinking because of the voices , they have drove me to the brink of insanity. The voices I hear are my mom dad and sisters and girlfriend and they have led me to believe I have a chip in my head and the FBI and police have been reading my thoughts for the past 6 years. I just would like to know if there is anyone else out there with similar story's or anyone that could help. I can't live like this much longer.
I have heard voices for 6 years now since before I went to detox for alcoholism. They keep telling me I have a chip in my head and it's my family telling me that raped someone and they are just reading my thoughts to prosecute me in court. They have convinced me on multiple occasions that this is real. It's always my family's voices or 1 unknown voice that comes through and I conversation with it a lot even blocking out what other people around me are saying.
my child is hearing voices in her head. the voices say things like if you close the door you will die, if you tie your shoe you will stop breathing. she is fine in all other areas.she did get sick 2 months ago and now thinks every little symptoms means she is very ill,even though we have had her checked by a dr. my husband thinks it is nothing to worry about. she does not believe the voices, but i do not know what to .

I am interested in receiving detailed information about those who hear voices inside their heads or with their ears.
I have recorded the voice I hear on a recorder so I know it's not a medical condition, but yet I have to deal with it.
I know of many who do hear voices in their heads and I believe it would be beneficial for myself and others to know the specifics as to how a voice not recognized by a person could possibly be heard inside their head.
Hearing voices is not a symptom of ADHD or ADD. It is a symptom of some other mental problems, however.
The fact that he hears voices, can see people who are not there, and that his brother has the same symptoms means that you should have both children evaluated by a psychiatrist as soon as possible.

I was wondering out of curiosity since you brought it up, did the psychiatrist say exactly how people who hear the thought coming as if from an external source commenting on them don't respond well to treatment? Does the medicine just not work as good or does it work physically like it should but just the symptoms still present themselves anyway?
I was on Lithium for almost 2 yrs and I can tell you it can certainly screwup your sex drive. I went from 20-30 minutes of bliss to 10 minutes of strain too. The longer you take it the less you will care if you ever have sex again. I am obsessive about sex and my dr had to take me off of it so I went to Risperdal. It was a nice alternative after the transfer period. It kept the voices from getting me nuts.
My 7 year old daughter has been hearing voices whisper her name for four month. she is fine in every other aspect of life. My brother has schizophrenia, started for him when he was 14. what I want to know is, what are the chances of this going away? I'd like to hear from anyone whos child experienced same thing.
hopsital for a week now for hearing evil voices. Before the medication was changed, she was up for four nights hearing them. Night time was the worse. When they would come on she would start shaking and having a rapid heart beat. During the day, she would still be shaking and having the rapid heartbeat. I slept with her the last night before taking her to the hospital. When the shakes came on, I would try holding her, but the shaking would not stop.
She said he broke down in science lab, was crying and complaining of hearing voices. As with me, he told her he was hearing his name being called over and over again. She referred him to the nurse who has now referred him to the school conselor. I'm waiting to hear back from her. I've also got a call into his pediatrician.

If your really scared of having schizophrenia because of anxiety could you make up the schizophrenia symptoms yourself?? For example if someone with anxiety fears of hearing voices could they imagen the voices themselves in their head and think they have schizophrenia even do its just them imagining the voices because their so anxious??? My 6 year old son told my husband last night that he is hearing voices and he sees blood all over his room. He is scared to sleep in his room. He always has been but lately he will not sleep in his room at all. If we take him to his room by the morning time he is in our room. Last night he fell asleep in our bed and when I woke him up to move him from our bed to the couch..he started screaming NO I DON'T WANNA GO TO MY ROOM..PLEASE MOMMY NO!!! He has freaked out like that before.
My 9 year old is hearing voices and seeing people. He is normal in all other aspects. The Christian School he attend feels he is ADD. These voices and poeple scare him and me. They say his name and there is one that will answer his questions. The person told him, his name and that he was there to protect him. He also see's other people and can't tell what they look like.
