1255682 tn?1269359864 May be someone can guide me to this question, or an attorney: I received a full set of my medical records from Fort Myers, FL when I moved to Okeechobee, Florida. I am on Medicaid, and there is no doctor that wants to see me, because I believe because within my medical records, the Doctor in Fort Myers, Fl has entered that I "Smoke Pot". I have never touched illegal drugs in my life.
Avatar m tn Good link here on straterra - http://www.crazymeds.us/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Meds/Strattera Basically it is an antidepressant. Has no stimulants in it. Thus I would think that it should pose no problem with urine or hair tests - unless, they are screening for antidepressants.

Avatar f tn Add to the main facts of this entire thing that a prescribed scheduled drug that i had taken was NOT even listed on the test, but 6 unexpected/illegal drugs were, you can see how im questioning this entire thing. Oh, and the fact that Millennium Health was sued a few years ago for $256m for a scam involving drug testing involving Medicare, Medicaid and other govt insurance patients(which i am), you can further see why im questioning everything. Thank you for your response.
952564 tn?1268368647 The general practitioner I first saw for my mental illness was kind of like this. She only had a check list of bipolar disorder and thus would only diagnose it but of course she told me I needed to get a real diagnosis which she was apparently wrong but I guess this is to be expected considering the circumstances.
547368 tn?1440541785 What great comments. We all see it a bit different and yet the same. Molly you are right, why did he refuse to submit his urine for a drug screen....unless he's had a previous drug screen that came back wrong and he didn't trust it would be right this time?? Or was he hiding something?? So many unanswered questions. No matter what the reason(s), killing the physician was not the remedy. As so well put by Otis, "...

Avatar f tn Linda Chavez: Facts not fiction in immigration debate By: Linda Chavez Examiner Columnist July 4, 2010 As someone who has long supported a major overhaul of our immigration laws, I'm sorry to say that President Obama's call this week for new legislation will only make matters worse. With unemployment hovering at almost 10 percent, the country is in no mood to increase the number of legal immigrants or temporary workers in the U.S.

187316 tn?1386356682 ve been looking up a lot of info on pregnancy and I keep running into random facts that are super interesting! So I thought that we could all post interesting facts as we learn them! I'll go first! Finger prints are created while the baby is in the womb by moving its hands through the amniotic fluid. No two people will ever move their hands in the exact same pattern the whole time which is why no two people have the same finger prints. Even identical twins!
Avatar f tn July 13, 2010 New research suggests that misinformed people rarely change their minds when presented with the facts -- and often become even more attached to their beliefs. The finding raises questions about a key principle of a strong democracy: that a well-informed electorate is best. Copyright © 2010 National Public Radio®. For personal, noncommercial use only. 464044 tn?1343702043 Some interesting facts and comments here. Thanks for posting. I read an interesting book a couple of months ago called Pill Head. It is a first hand account of a guy living in New York who is heavily addicted to pills. He is an Editor for a magazine and in the book he interviews the head of the DEA and some other organizations and states some astounding facts about opiate abuse. It was a fantastic book that I could unfortunately relate to. Quick read, I got it for my Kindle.
Avatar f tn Secondly, by keeping it illegal, those that profit are the dealers. Much of the violence you see is due to drug dealers, etc. fighting for territory. It fuels much of the illegal gun trade as well. By legalizing, and regulating, you remove that. Dealers are not going to continue if there is no profit. People will not stop using, legal or not. Look at what happened during prohibition. People didn't stop drinking. But violence escalated amongst bootleggers..it was a violent time.
Avatar f tn What I suggest is icing to reduce the swelling. If there are any cuts clean them out with witch hazel (can be found in a local drug store and it doesn't sting like alchohol) and put an ointment.
Avatar n tn If a doctor prescribes you a drug that is FDA approved, as appears to have happened in this case, you didn't take an illegal drug. It's only illegal if you take it without a prescription.
Avatar f tn This is just a thought but i have known, both with myself and other people, that when we have taken a drug and then we have changed the company that makes the drug, even though it is in theory the same drug taken it can cause new side effects. So, this drug that you had this side effect too may of been from a different company than the one you were use to.
Avatar f tn I find it interesting that the CDC, first, took so long to make any announcement stating all 'boomers' should have a 'one time test' for hep c . However, the CDC knows it goes dormant for decades, that a one time test is insufficient, i.e., it should be yearly AND not just boomers, but ALL srs, given they are just beginning to find all the sources for contraction.
