1650779 tn?1342036603 s been a week and the rash has cleared up in some parts and recently appeared in others. Any idea how to treat the rash or when I can expect it to clear up all together?
Avatar n tn My best bet is that it is simply a rash, perhaps a heat rash or if you have sensitive skin a reaction to new cloth wash/bed covers. If you leave it for a few days and it doesnt go away I would inform your doctor as a rash would disapear quite quickly....just a few suggestion, hope they help.
Avatar n tn Have you ruled out heat rash??? I don't know how itchy it is but heat rash involves blocked sweat glands and it can definately form into a raised rash. Another possibility is discoid eczema. Unexplained dermatitis is a real thing as well. I have 'something' going on with one of my fingers. It will flair up into an itchy, very small raised rash, and then I scratch and the skin gets shiny and it peals. It does this a couple of times a year and is ONLY on my pinkie. ?????
Avatar f tn s just that this time my leg/thigh broke out (with my Herpes blisters) soon after the heat rash on my arms, so I was just asking if anyone else had a link to a heat rash, or if anyone thought that the heat rash was a mild break out of the Herpes. It's quite possible that it was just random, stress-related, luck that they were in conjunction.
Avatar n tn I read on the National Cancer website that the biopsy should be tested using a technique called immunohistochemistry to differentiate the cell types, so I am also going to tell them that this is how I want the biospsy tested. I just want peace of mind and I honestly do not have that yet. Thanks again for your suggestions.
Avatar f tn Thank you for taking the time to respond! Because the rash shows first in areas where major lymph nodes are locations, I've been curious as to if it could be autoimmune. I'm currently seeing a rheumatologist and we are doing blood work and other labs to rule things out. For this episode, because I could not take prednisone to stop the rash, I stopped life. I stopped cooking, cleaning, going out, etc. and staying on the couch as much as possible to not cause my skin to flare up.
Avatar m tn A heat rash is a yeast rash (prickly heat). Use Desitin. It should clear up quickly.
Avatar n tn s a problem which quite a few women seem to get more than men. It is a heat rash where your body cannot expel the sweat from the glands properly - it is brought on by the sun.
Avatar m tn sent me back to the hospital to do tests. Turns out I had DRESS syndrom - a severe reaction to drugs. The dr. thought the rash would clear up after stopping the drugs, but fever remained high (tried to control with tylenol). After two days he gave in to Pregnizone and the fever immediately went away. The rash took much longer. My skin was like a severe sunburn with rash and itching also. The skin pealed off over the next week - was horrible. Dr.
15311409 tn?1439780092 I'm not sure what kind of rash this is, but if it's all over as you describe then it's probably a reaction to something externally. If the rash develops into open pimples or blisters or wounds, they will undoubtedly get infected very quickly, so I would get her to a vet for a full assessment and treatment.

1027005 tn?1300050172 Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced a rash that starts on their belly and travels up. I was in the doctors office for it and also the hospital for heart problems and they said they don't know what it is. The nurse said it could be a heat rash, I live in Michigan how in the world could I have a heat rash at this time of year? Also, it's getting worse as the days go by it's been a week since I've seen a doctor and they said it would go away when I called yesterday.

82861 tn?1333453911 Heat stroke can strike very quickly and with no real warning unless you know what to look for. If the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory, heat watch or heat warning, treat your pets the same way you would treat yourself and stay inside with the air conditioner. Limit outdoor time and keep activity to a minimum, particularly in the afternoon hours. Be cool!
1222635 tn?1366396286 I treat my hives with benedryl sometimes I get them when I am stressed out too (I am just a sensitive person...lol)it's some chemical reaction that goes on in your body. Maybe just the adjustment of the new baby? I would give it a try if you can, but it makes you sleepy so I would try one at a time.
Avatar m tn I am outside for about an hour then driving for 20 min then outside for another hour (I watch over different work crews) so I am sweating, then the sweat drys, then sweating, then the sweat drys. Do you think this is some sort of heat rash it is getting worse and worse. Possibility 2: So I accidently used a cap of fabric softner instead of detergent when I did my last two washes, BUT the rash is only occuring on my shoulders where the clothes sit and on my chest... Not anywhere else (I.
Avatar n tn Hello, Without examination,it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but it can be due to heat rash, contact dermatitis to socks or shoes, rashes due to friction rub or sweat dermatitis, Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. Also ask your son to avoid wearing leather shoes for some time and wear cotton socks which should be changed atleast twice a day.He can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
Avatar m tn If I’m wearing shorts and able to get air to it, it is much better. Any idea what I can do to help?
Avatar f tn I am not a doctor by any means, but I do work with children as a swim coach and I have seen a plethora of medical issues that they can have. One of my athletes is allergic to cold, and so when the water is too cold, she will get blotchy skin and not feel well. Once she gets out of the cold water she gets better pretty quickly. Actually I have had two children during my career that have had this. I would imagine that if kids can be allergic to cold, they could be allergic to heat too?
Avatar f tn I developed it and my doc told me the same thing so I researched and found ways to help cure the rash rather than treat the symptoms. However, the regimine I followed has a lot to it and the herbs I Boughy were relatively exoensive however I did not have to use steroids and after starting the regimine last wedsday my rash was already almost gone by yesterday and I haven't had to take any antihistamines in several days.
