Hello can anywhen give any knowledge on these hormone levels, my dr is away till thursday and they're bizarre. Firstly I DO NOT HAVE A CYCLE as my body weight is low so these were not taken on day 3 as i dont know when day 3 would fall, fsh 14, lh 11 , eostrogen 142, progesterone 43. The other dr i spoke to seemed to think that i may actually get a period this month, i am trying to put on weight ready for our 4th ivf in june. P.

Hello, I am writing because I have lots of symptoms of PCOS and 5 years ago I went through fertiltiy and found that I have PCOS, but now 5 years later I had my hormone levels taken just by family doctor and they say they are normal but what is normal. i had my baby on january 16th.. i didnt have a period after until he was 3 months old it was also 2 periods in one month. after that i had one more peroid the next month and now i have not had a period in 2 months i havent had sex or anything..

They are about 4 years apart and I was on depo for 2 years after the first child and about 6 months after the 2nd one. Do you think depo would have caused it?

My sister had problems with her estrogen and progesterone levels after she took birth control. It really messes up your system. Please bear in mind I am NOT a dr and only telling you what I read from an article of the net. I do not know what all pertains to you if any! Since you do not have higher strogen is probble why it was not cancerous. But it did say it was like blood vessels all over the polyps and it takes away the proper blood flow to the uterus.

Along with that, have you had your iron levels, estrogen levels, progesterone levels and vitamin D levels tested? Or did the doctor just run a standard panel?

It can take a couple months after a D&C to get your period. Most commonly people usually get it between 4-8 weeks but I have heard of it taking up to 12. After my D&C before I ever got a period I used to get bad cramps. If I was you I would do what Atlantisea said and get your levels checked to see if they have returned to 0.

ve already taken hormone pills to regulate my period, but all that did was cause me to have heavy periods for 2 weeks straight so I discontinued taking them. I do want to have kids in the future, but in the meantime, what do I do to solve my problem?

I had an abnormal period about that quality (just spotting and delayed more than usual) before after having been on Microgestin about a couple years. It happens sometimes. If you want to be 100% certain, you could take a pregnancy test, but you should be fine.

From my own personal experience, it took a week and a half after my m/c for my HCG levels to drop down into the negatives (it sounds odd, but the #'s should actually drop below zero). I'm a little surprised that your OB wouldn't want to do follow-up bloodwork. If you wanted to, you could always request that they do bloodwork so that you'd know for sure when your levels are back to "normal". Good luck with your next attempt! What were your hormone levels ? @5weeks mine were 10,400 and @ 7weeks mine were 80,000+ im now 14weeks and have no idea what they are now.... what is a normal range ?

Hormone levels as in HCG? I'd say no, that's not possible, there is a specific type of blood test (I believe) that you can get done to tell gender, but I don't think insurance covers it, so you'd have had to pay it out of pocket, did you have any issues that would require a specific blood test, or did you request one?

You will not be able to get pregnant again until those previous hcg levels have returned to normal. When the hormone levels return to normal, only then will you ovulate. I think 10-12wks is the time where those hormone levels reach their peak so they can take up to 6wks possibly longer to come down. I could be wrong but my sister had the same scenario and thats what she was told, in fact, her hormone levels didn't come completly down until 8wks after her d&c. Good luck anyway !

I took another home pregnancy test three days after my period and it showed that I was not pregnant. I assumed that my hormone levels had dropped and I would ovulate we tried to concieve. I just took another test Jan 19 and it was a strong positive. Does this mean that I am pregnant again?

I haven't had a period after mirena removal for 2.5 months. I had it in for two years. I had a regular period before the mirena and during the mirena it changed to light spotting to none. I'm concerned because it's been 2.5 months and I had half a day of spotting and nothing after the first month. Should I be concerned? Consult a doctor? I've researched and found a percentage of women continue with irregular periods for 1+ years.
