Common Questions and Answers about Heat rash treat

heat

Avatar f tn Could it be simply just pimples as a preteen prepubescent thing or maybe she has used a facial cleanser cream that she may be allergic to? could it just be from her sweating and it be like a heat rash? Either way, maybe she should see a doctor who would be able to give you more insight to this problem. Is it anywhere else on her body? Google rash on forehead and see what you come up with.
Avatar f tn This summer, while in Dublin (so no ridiculous heat) I have gotten the rash again. this time it is much worse and is spreading very quickly. I went to the doctor the first two times I got this rash and he prescribed me different creams which did not seem to help. I then went to a dermatologist who prescribed me something else. After a few weeks of using this cream, I found the rash was exactly the same, so I stopped and slowly it began to heal again.
1027005 tn?1300050172 Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced a rash that starts on their belly and travels up. I was in the doctors office for it and also the hospital for heart problems and they said they don't know what it is. The nurse said it could be a heat rash, I live in Michigan how in the world could I have a heat rash at this time of year? Also, it's getting worse as the days go by it's been a week since I've seen a doctor and they said it would go away when I called yesterday.
Avatar n tn If it is an allergy I think a Hydrocortisone cream will help ..you can get one OTC but also go to your doctor who may prescribe some thing stronger ..
Avatar n tn I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.

Avatar f tn I developed it and my doc told me the same thing so I researched and found ways to help cure the rash rather than treat the symptoms. However, the regimine I followed has a lot to it and the herbs I Boughy were relatively exoensive however I did not have to use steroids and after starting the regimine last wedsday my rash was already almost gone by yesterday and I haven't had to take any antihistamines in several days.
Avatar m tn Also all these spots seem to be raised up slightly above the skin and the turn red around the edges when I get hot. I have been told heat rash before, but i thought it was localized to persistently sweaty areas and that it goes away anywhere from like 4-48 hours. Also with sun spots I always thought they went away after a good winter and you lose your tan and start again, besides sunspots definitely aren't supposed to itch, swell, and turn red.
Avatar n tn Cholinergic urticaria is a subcategory of physical urticaria (aka hives) that is a skin rash brought on by a hypersensitive reaction to body heat. Symptoms follow any stimulus to sweat such as exercise (sometimes called exercise-induced urticaria), heat from the sun (which could also indicate solar urticaria), saunas, hot showers (reaction to water can also indicate water urticaria), spicy foods which may cause an increase in body temperature or even stress due to blushing or anger.

Avatar m tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be dermatitis skin, contact dermatitis or heat rash. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful apart from steroid creams. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.

Avatar m tn About a 10 days ago a a woman and I were together. No sex, but we each performed oral sex and there was a lot of genital contact. A day or two after, I noticed this one slightly reddish bump on the lower part of my shaft, near the scrotum. It seemed like a pimple, so after soaking it I "popped it" and it acted like a pimple (a little yellowish-white fluid came out). It was not and is still not itchy.
Avatar n tn Just wondering if anyone has found a remedy for the "hiker's rash" or the heat rash that develops above ankles when in hot and humid weather and on feet all day? Avatar f tn Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but they can be clogged glands, heat rash or folliculitis. The best way to prevent them is to avoid treating your skin with excessively harsh chemicals and to limit sun exposure. Also use good quality cosmetics and exfoliate your skin regularly. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar n tn hives are itchy irregular raise patches of redness and heat can heighten an allergic reaction if your son has been out in the heat when the rash came. it may also be heat rash, but the benedryl and bactine would do him no harm if you give them and they are not what is needed. a cold wash cloth works well on hives and heat rash.
