Heat rash torso

Common Questions and Answers about Heat rash torso

heat

Avatar m tn Hi, oral sex is considered low risk and the torso rash symptoms would not have anything to do with any std and for hiv would be zero risk for sure. Maybe a heat rash. If you do have a long term partner it would be advised to test for syphilis, herpes, gono and chlamydia for their protection. But symptoms for these would be in your genital area not your upper torso.
Avatar f tn I have a patchy rash that comes and goes mainly on my torso and chest, but has also appeared on my lower arms and thighs. It doesn't itch, and seems to be made worse by the heat from a shower, or when clothing rubs on the skin. Could this be caused by stress? I have no other illness or symptoms. Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn Last Wednesday (20th), she began to complain that she was itchy. Friday a rash showed up on her torso, under her armpits, only on her sides down her ribcage. Nothing has gotten the rash to go away. We have washed everything repeatedly, soaked her in epsom salt, oatmeal, and baking soda baths (not all at the same time). Her pediatrician gave her two rounds of antibiotics. We even gave her Benadryl.
Avatar m tn Hi, ive included the pic. Just not sure whether it's heat rash or shingles. It looked like a cluster of pimples. It's gone in like 1-2 weeks. This skin problem occurred at the back just below my waist on my left side. When this happened, i remember i was sweating a lot at that area because of the hot climate here in my country.
Avatar n tn I don't think that your tingling and rash have anything to do with lymph nodes. It is hard to tell what is a cancerous lymph node without biopsy but swelling and being very hard are more worrying signs. Most times enlarged nodes are due to a local infection. Try to just wait for your biopsy results and not get too concerned about something having spread before even knowing whether you even have skin cancer or not. I know that's easier said than done.
Avatar f tn I was also on Victrelis, and got the rash on my Torso, mine looked like welts or hives, slightly raised, and red. And I itched and felt swollen up to the top of my head. I dont think Prednisone should be the first med to use, I would ask your Doc to prescribe an anti-itch med called "Atarax" first (also known as hydroxyzine) Take one of those pills every 6 hrs very regularly, and seeif that helps, aftr a few days, it did with me.
Avatar n tn One of the doctors said something about it being a heat rash and using benadryl cream for the itch. How can heat rash be prevented? Does suntan lotion help? This discussion is related to tiny little red itchy bumps.
Avatar m tn You never had an exposure and you are not having ARS.
Avatar n tn Hi, This could either be a heat rash or a drug reaction.Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with Norethisterone. Because a side effect is stated here, it does not mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect.
Avatar f tn I fear the skin on my stomach may be too sensitive for any kind of lotion that is not water-soluble, because the oil in lotions causes my skin to heat up there- the front of my torso seems to hold heat, more than other parts of my body (maybe because it's the most chubby)
Avatar m tn I've recently developed an allergy to sweating, a red rash spreads across my upper torso and it itches a great deal, bordering on painful. Any advice?
Avatar n tn If you have a rash on your torso it is a sign of allergy. Are you using any medications? If so call MD & stop taking the drug. An antihistamine will help like Benadryl. There are people who are allergic to the sun believe it or not. You need to use a high number SPF if you must be out in it. Something like Fallene. Find photographs & compare -try American Dermatology Association. Mayo Clinc has a nice website.
Avatar m tn t cause a rash of the sort you describe. And the rash of ARS came on too late anyway; the rash of occurs at the same time as fever, sore throat, etc. Finally, you had safe sex with someone who is statistically very unlikely to have HIV. So no risk, nothing to suggest ARS, no need for testing, and it is safe for you to continue unprotected sex with any regular partner(s) you may have.
Avatar m tn For over a week now i have had what i, as well as my mother and friend, believed to be a heat rash. I am hoping that is all that it is, but it does not seem to follow the exact description for a heat rash according to my research. When i saw the first "bump" it was alone on the front of my stomach and i thought that it was a bug bite, but then they started to appear even more.
Avatar m tn I was told to wash with Hibilens daily and to take doyxcycline for one week as a precaution, but he didnt think it was bacterial, ruling out also an allergic reaction. Maybe heat rash or a folliculitis. I have now again experienced these bumps. This time on my biceps, a little on forearms, a few on the neck and 2 or 3 on my chest area. NONE on the legs or lower torso like last time. I have shaved my arms in that area previously, but not my chest or neck area. ANY idea what this might be?
Avatar n tn I have a itchy rash that itches first then welts up in lines then it goes away it usually occurs on my hands from the wrist area to my knuckles, my torso usually back area, and as a strong itchy tingling on the tip of my toes, but is not limited to these certain areas. I have had itching inside my ears, between my fingers, on my legs and feet.
Avatar n tn This type of COVID-19 rash can appear with blisters that may look similar to chickenpox. It’s most often been observed on the torso and may itch. Avatar f tn Hello, From the symptoms these itchy papules can be due to viral rashes, contact dermatitis, allergies, heat rash, sweat dermatitis or scabies bites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. If the symptoms persist then you may need topical or oral steroids for which you have to consult a dermatologist. Also then get scabies ruled out.
Avatar n tn I am 22 yr old gay male, and I have had red spots appearing and disappearing on my torso, inner arms, and thighs for the last week and a half. They disappear when i am sleeping and when I take allergy meds they fade away a little bit. If I go to the beach or take a hot shower they tend to get very red and the numbers multiply. It seems to be affected by the heat. They do not itch nor bother me besides the discoloration of the skin.
