35pm here in UK and all I want to do is sleep but heartburn is killing me :(

Ive had aweful heartburn, tums arnt cutting it, my dr says i can take maalox but i was wondering if anyone knew a pill i could swallow for it?

HORRIBLE heartburn! What can I do to help relieve it? And why does it happen with anything I eat???

do not lay down for an hr after eating n eat SMALL portion meals too much food sitting in ur stomach causes the acid in ur stomach to *** up which causes heartburn.. no spicy food nothin acidic!!

This is an area where medication definitely makes the situation worse in the long run. And whether Buspar causes heartburn or not, anxiety can and often does cause digestive problems. Buspar more often causes nothing, including effects on anxiety, but hope you're one of the ones getting benefit from it. If not, it's the Buspar. Hasn't proven effective.

I probably have a packet a week and only when i have had a couple pints. Almonds can be found in the home baking section of uk supermarkets. When you get heartburn take a handful, grind it into a paste and swallow. That should see you through the day. If you have really bad heartburn you might need another handful and that should do it. After a couple months of almond taking i realised i was getting less and less heartburn.

I am 21 weeks and have day in and day out the worst heartburn/acid indigestion ever. Nothing seems to be working and my doctor told me to take liquid mylanta or maylox. I went looking for both of them and couldn't find either. When I came home and googled them it seems that they have been taken off the market. Is there anything else that is safe to take....anything that will give me any relief at all???

I am ftm @ 15wks 3 days with twins. I have severe heartburn. Anything I eat or drink causes heartburn. I haven't ate since 6pm this evening and its now 1152 pm and my heartburn will not let me go to sleep. Do any of you suffer from this and what is recommended.

Most of the time acid/heartburn is from the foods you eat plus baby pushes everything up and it causes it too I had heartburn every single day from 5 months till I had my daughter she had a head full of thick long black hair but doesn't mean it's true

I love spicy food i just did fajitas for dinner and i have the biggest heartburn in the world :( i dont want to have to stop eating curry and fajitas its not fair and gaviscon is not helping help please

Its 4am and they won't shift. I'm so so tired. I have had 3 rennies tablets and 2 glasses of milk to try and shift the heartburn but it's being stubborn tonight... and this backache is unreal. Any tips please ladies?

I was not having heartburn or feeling of esopgagus spams at that time. I am confused that sometimes I can eat and food seems to go right down with no swallowing trouble then other times it feels like food is just sitting in top of my stomach which causes a pain that feels similar to a muscle spasm(dull ache). Since taking the Protonix most of the heartburn is gone.
