gas pain ribs

Having some pain in my upper abdomen right under my ribs. How can you tell if it's gas pain or something serious? I'm burping a lot and have been slightly constipated for the past 2 days, sorry for the over share, so I'm thinking it's gas pain. I just don't want to write it off if it could be something to be concerned about.

I have this pain on the right side under my ribs. I would say its kind of on the side. It comes and goes, but it bothers me. I'm 19 weeks preggo and the baby is low and I feel her so I know its not her kicking that place...does anyone have an idea what it could be?

does anybody else have gas pains? I'm 5 1/2 weeks along and this is the 2nd time in the past week I have had horrible gas pains. They aren't like cramps the are higher like under my ribs. I never experienced thus with my first pregnancy.

i felt a kick or something high up by my ribs and at the same time I felt a sharp pain in my vagina really close to the outside, I've also been getting these gas like feelings in my lower abdomen anyone get these sharp pains?

Last night i woke up with very sharp pain right below my right ribs. It hurt to breathe. It was also on kind of in my back. It hurt pretty bad. It went away after a few minutes. Then this evening i was crouching down to get the dogs dressed for Halloween and i started to get a cramp there again. Then a bit later i bent over to put on my daughters gloves and it started again. I was just bending over a bit. Anyone had this happen. I'm 11w5days.

I woke this morning and i have really bad pain under my left ribs and down my left side im almost 14 weeks pregnant and not sure what i can take for gas pain.

No its not the baby, i know what that feels like, this was a sharp pain in my abdomen first that just shot all the way up to my ribs....and my baby is head up so he kicks me in the *** not the ribs....

5 days before while walking a sharp pain started in my left side under ribs maybe in lungs. while inhaleing a sharp pain starts. pain only happen only in deep breathing . i feel like safocation sometime.

I had some pain last night kinda like cramps going threw the top of my stomach under my rib cage to my back it went away

It could be bloating from gas causing you pain and making you look bigger. Also, as the uterus gets bigger everything is all moved around in there, so gas can reach up in your chest. And your ribs could possibly be moving to accommodate the uterus. That can cause a lot of soreness in your rib cage. Try some gas x to relieve it and if that doesn't work try wearing a looser bra or one without wiring to help with rib pain! If it gets really bad ask your doctor about it.

I have heartburn, gas, and chest pain... I am a little worried, what causes this.

So my little man insists on putting tons of pressure on my left side/ribs. I try pushing him down but he wont budge lol. I heard that normally boys sit lower in the belly. But I guess not in this case. He causes me so much pain. I can't sit or lay down without being in pain. And on top of that the heart burn and acid reflux doesn't make any of this better. Any advice on what to do.. or do I just stick out the pain?

I keep having pain in my lower ribs/upper abdomen. I took my bra off and the pain very slightly let up but I don't know what to do to help the pain or what could be causing it. I am 19+4.

Its only on my left side. It's more uncomfortable than painful. It feels like something under the top of my left rib cage is swollen and my ribs are pressing against it. I didn't even think of gas. I'm going to try the gas x, and hope that's all it is. Thank you so much!!

For the last probably 2 weeks I have had this sharp but sometimes dull pain under my ribs on the back side. Mainly my left side but it is both at times. It is quite painful and I have had kidney stones before and it doesn't feel like it is that and I've had UTI's and Bladder infections and it doesn't feel like that either. Does anyone have any ideas on what this may be?

So I am 12+1 weeks pregnant and am I have really bad lower stomach pain like 2 or 3 inches below my belly button. I've had gas all day which my gas pains are on my left side 2 inches below my ribs. I'm scared that something is wrong with my baby.

I have the same problem sometimes, its most likely gas pain. When I need to relieve gas pain in my chest and upper back I drink about 2-3oz of lemon juice in a glass of water and take a few gas x. It helps me a lot. Try not to drink carbonated beverages after 6pm, and drink the lemon water after dinner and before bed to help relieve the pain all night long, It works wonders for me.

Have you had recent trauma to anywhere on your body? Could be costochondritis which is an inflamation of the muscles connecting your ribs.

just below ribs can be a liver pain if the pain is on and off.also can be gas if u fell bloated.it all depends of the type of pain and how long persits.try tu push just below u ribs on the liver side and relese fast the presure.after relese if u feel pain its the liver.

the whole of last night and today i have this pain right under my chest at the top of my ribs its awful almostlike trapped gas. any idea if it is something i have eaten or that i may be getting unwell anyone else get this when they were preggers and a bad back its in agony?!
