I suffer from frequent urination between 2am and 6 in the morning. This happens every half hour, lots of urine, no burning, no pain.I have had blood tests, cystoscopy and an IVP done, all came back negative. I don;t drink a lot since i never get thirsty, a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of water for my blood pressure tablets. I'm not swollen but 2yrs ago i had a back op for a pinched nerve, could this be the cause? Please help!

Hello, Without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but urge of frequent urination can be due to increased intake of fluids or diabetes mellitus.Other possibilities are glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis(inflammation of the kidneys),urinary tract infection,hypercalcemia,hypokalemia(low potassium),hyperthyroidism,hyperparathyroidism,diuretic drugs and benign hyperplasia of the prostate(in elderly males).

Symptoms do not come on the next day and frequent urination is usually not a stand alone symptom and frequent means like every 10-15 minutes. If worried wait 1 week from the encounter and get tested for gonorrhea, but overall I see no need to do so.

Its not dribbles of urine, its alot like as if i drank a bottle of water. no pain during urination. Its relief until after im done and i get a mild burning. please tell me your thoughts. I really dont have enough money for testing.

I am 30 yr old male . I have frequent urination since 2 months. KUB, urine analysis, urine culture and diabtic tests have been done. No infections were found. I had white discharge thrice in this two months. And burning sensation after ejaculation. The problem gets worst once ejaculated.some times urine passes as two streams. One with thinnner stream and other as a drops.(not always this stream).

I am a 22 years old male from india. I am suffering from frequent (day time) urination (around 12 times in daytime only, don't wake up from sleep to urinate ) for the last 6 years. I generally have to urinate in small amounts,I feel that I am emptying my bladder everytime . My urine flow also is normal, I take little time to start urinating as the amount of urine is not much. there is no urinary leakage , i feel my pelvic floor muscles are strong enough.

But a few hours later i started having frequent urination. No burning or discharge just frequent urination. Also most often with stds lke Gono and Chlanydia any infection would start off in your penis and could move up the urinary track if left untreated and symptoms would be the puss and burning while urinating. Frequent urination is often assosciated with the prostate or even a bladder infection. But since its been 2.5 month i personally feel its anxiety related.

can you have a urinary tract infection with no burning? the only symptoms were frequent urination and very slight pressure in my bladder area. i thought you would have to have some burning or pain.

Welcome to the Forum. Both the timing of your exposure (and the interval since then) and the nature of your exposure and symptoms make STD unlikely. Few STDs are transmitted through receipt of oral sex and when they occur persons typically become symptomatic within a week of the exposure. The symptoms they cause are burning on urination and/or urethral discharge. The two STDs which do occur due to receipt of oral sex are non-gonoccal urethritis and gonorrhea.

He mentioned it was inflammed prostrate The issues disappeared by 10 days. No issues in terms of urination etc and no burning sensation. Took a 4-5 day break due to travel and soon the urination issue reappeared (frequent urination and burning sensation at the tip of penis). Had to continue Doxy for about 2 more weeks and Cipro for 5 days. Now I dont have any issue in terms of urination etc. My concern is that there is lack of sleep and it has been quite some time I slept well. Not sure why?
