Does anybody else get those crazy calf cramps that tighten up like crazy? And it just hurts sooo bad. Ughhh !!!

I'm a second time monther. I have a 11 month baby and another girl on the way. I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I've been getting random leg cramps at night. Now my muscle has been hurting all day. What should I do?

I've been having constant foot cramps. Podiatrist recommended some stretches and stuff, but also suggested a thyroid test. FT3 is 3.22 (2.57-4.43) FT4 is 1.17 (0.64-1.77) TSH is 4.24 (0.27-4.2) Anti-Tg is 41.14 (1000 (<5.61) So the TSH is just a hair too high, but the anti-TPO is off the chart. Is there a thyroid problem or not? What does this mean? I've got an appointment with an endocrinologist, but I just want to get ahead of the game.

Hi...I still get the vibration and cramps in my foot...it always seemed to happen when I changed my shoes...one style to another..... I am still having this issue...tho not like b4 as that is the case with many of my symptoms...but I had a month or more of the vibrating, now I have had a few nights of cramps in the arch of my feet. My hands tend to cramp when I hold something too long.....

We than stopped!! We didn’t know it was a chance of getting pregnant! Ever since than she has had Cramps in her stomach and has been super paranoid of beinng pregnant. Its been 5 days and she still has cramps and has been super stressed. Yesterday she had old dry blood down there as well. She doesn’t get her period for 19 more days and is super stressed. Hi ladies, is anyone suffering from leg/foot cramps. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and they've started coming on badly in the evenings and during the night in the last few weeks. I'm trying to drink lots of water and have a topical magnesium cream but nothing helps. So painful and causing really disturbed sleep. Any ideas?

They help prevent cramps, pregnant or not. Also, when you do get them, flex your foot. DO NOT point your toes out. Grab your foot and pull it towards you so it's like your making an L with your leg and foot. That should relieve it almost instantly.

I am 30w 5d and I have been experiencing legs cramps and foot cramps the past month. These last 4 days my cramps have been in both legs/ feets at the sams time and last night I fell and could not get up. My husband had to left me up and help me walk it out. They last around 5-10 minutes. Does anyone else have these problems? I have increased my potassium and tried peppermint oil before bed.

Someone told me to stand up against the wall barefoot on a cold floor which actually worked for me. Also, drink the juice of olives in the can or pickles. Ok i get cramps in my leg when sleep but this is different. Its the top of my foot and like a shooting pain to my calf. My foot and calf is more painful especially if i touch it. I know it comes with pregnancy but last night it was so bad I woke up 5 dif times with cramps in one or the other leg and once it was my calf and my whole foot and I had to get up and waddle around to get it to stop then when I laid back down it started up again and the other leg was cramping up too at the same time.

I think I know how those leg cramps feel like, I used to get them when I was pregnant and my doctor would say its b/c of low pottasium and she would tell me to eat bannanas, but my husband is on day 2 todays and he says he wants to cut off his legs

When it starts, press your foot against the wall or bed or something. Anything to make your foot flat. I couldn't stand up with mine, they were bad. But making your foot flat will relieve it QUICK.

Hi all, In the past 2 days I have experiences the most painful and uncomfortable cramps in the bottom of my foot, my toes are curling up and are stiff. They are coming about 4 times per day and lasting 30-40 minutes of agony each time. Any ideas of what this is????
