I was driving home from work and began to feel like everything was moving too fast but I was sitting still. My vision became blurred and I began to be unable to focus. I feel like my car is not touching the road and I have no control. Medical History: Diagnosed w/fibromuscular dysplasia w/renal artery stenosis 7 years ago; gastric surgery 5 years ago;plastic surgery in July (breast reduction and tummy tuck; high blood pressure and I am hypoglecemic.
Was also put on Prednisone 6 days and this was the only meds that helped. Once I completed the round, the blurred vision, and head pressure came back.. I have been using Alavert D12 and Flonase for past week. Just recently, have had vision issues again and dizziness. I cannot even ride in the car, I get like- car sick, too much motion. Then I feel panicky, because my head is not clear and the ENT office states that dizziness is normal.
He has a bit of a foggy feeling around his eyes..not blurred vision though. He slept a lot yesterday but today does not really feel much better. His eyes are a bit yellow...but it comes and goes.. he feels tired and worn out. Shortness of breath but afraid to use the inhaler now b/c it is a steroid which could send him into shock again. We were informed that using the epi pin again could send him into cardiac arrest... So we do not know what is going on with his body now.
The right side of my head feels like someone has crammed a sock into it---ears ringing, eyes feel swollen, teeth hurt. I also have blurred vision, and I can't hear well sometimes...especially in a crowd. When I sleep (if that's what it's called), I wake up feeling like someone has held my head under a pillow or under water. I work in a public school that is 30 years old, dusty, and it has remnants of soot everywhere from an arsonist's fire 8 years ago...
I took Advil which helped but I also went to Urgent care and was told that it was a migraine. On Easter Sunday, I woke up with blurred vision in my left eye only which scared the bejeebers out of me (I was ok with glasses on). I finally called my eye doctor because he has emergency hours and because he wasn't close to his office, he only called in a prescription for lotemax.
hot flashes, weight gain, hives, and some blurred vision. I know this is from the Prednisone because these issues disappear once I stop taking this medication. My question is this, what are my options to alleviate the issues I'm having with my sinus's and if it shows to be an uncorrectable problem what other medication could I use to replace the Prednisone I'm taking?
I am still having blurred vision with normal blood sugars, (I was the diabetic) eyes have been checked no change in perscription for two years good blood flow. Ice pick pains as if someone is stabbing me in the head wih a ice pick. Different areas of the head, and behind the ears. Sinus still draing expecially when lying down. Headaches worsen still when lying down. I also am feeling like my personality is just not me. On edge, impatient, not caring much about anything.
Anyone else have any similar symptoms? I have no blurred vision and I don't wear glasses or contacts. I just get extreme eye pressure and it feels terrible.

Now lately it seems to have returned even worse than before. I have tunnel vision, blurred vision, lack of hand-eye coordination, inability to keep my train of thought and I am always fuzzy. It is as if I were tipsy all of the time. I wake up this way and it just gets worse through out the day. I am 33 and in relatively good shape, no history of neurological problems in my family or diabetes.
My GP says she sees nothing wrong. About 2 months ago, had a migrane with blurred and double vision and facial and left arm/hand numbness. Had many test and all come out ok. I have called the hospital and asked for copies of my MRI records and will pursue seeing a ENT. How is everyone doing since they had cyst removal?

During the vertigo condition she did not suffer from headaches, but approximately one year prior, in Oct of 2005, she suffered a concussion in the rear of her head on the lower right side where the scull and neck meet. This concussion caused post-concussive symptoms - initial blurred vision, some dizziness, trouble reading, doing computation, getting words out, etc. Nothing worked for the headache pain - we tried low doses of elavil and topamax, and all tests showed no bleeding in brain, etc.
About 1 year after that surgery my nasal congestion problems came back most likely because of my allergies. During the past 4 years or so I've used used several different Nasal sprays (Nasonex, Flonase, Astelin, etc.), pills (Allegra, Zyrtec, Claritan, etc.), even this nasal irrigation device. None of them seemed to work for me with the exception of Claritan-D, a 24hr pill that I take daily, which helps slightly.
I was referred to ENT- He had me get CT scan, stated I had deviated septum and that I needed surgery. I have had severe dizziness, blurred vision, almost like car sickness.. major headache and was then given Steroid (6) day dose. This helped and I too dreaded the 7th day, which I began to feel worse again. So, I call ENT and they told me to have the surgery. I have been too scared of surgery so ENT gave me Alavert D12, and Flonase to take this has made me more dizzy.
*Headache. *Gas, bloating, or burping. *Twitching. *Sweating. *Vision changes, such as blurred vision or tunnel vision. *Problems with concentration or memory. Loss of consciousness (fainting). (the only one I have never had) Because of the tunnel vision, concentration/memory loss, and twitching I really thought I had ADHD (all shared symptoms). I am starting to doubt that now.
Two years ago, I began to experience severe pressure in my head, sometimes I can feel like electricity or something move around in my head. I know this sounds ridiculous but to me it is real. I have blurred vision. I went for a complete eye exam and everything came out normal. I think the scariest part of this is the way my eyes feel. I notice that when the pain is more severe in my ears and head, my eyes feel worse. As I write this, my head feels clogged.
I had been experiencing blurred vision and the headpains since October of 1991. I had the blurred vision in the past and thought it was allergy related so wasn't too concerned. I was hospitalized on 2/26/92 for testing. This was 7 weeks after the onset of the optic neuritis diagnosis. All tests were negative for MS except the MS panel and the visual evoke. All other tests were also negative (i.e.
I had so many weird systems ( dizziness, confusion, one eye dilated other wasn't, very blurred vision ) all the nurses and Dr's were baffled. They started me on IV drip with heavy antibiotics 4 times a day for two days then Augmentin 875 mg in pill form 2 times a day for 2 weeks, also have Mucinex and Flonase. I am 2 days into my pills and have VERY heavy drainage! I now have the headaches and laying down makes them worse.
Fullness and PRESSURE in the head. Blurred vision, watering eyes. It feels like a bad cold I guess with severe pain to put it simply. I do have some relief from the ABs and I don't want to EVER feel as sick as I was feeling. I am pretty much freaking out now because I don't want surgery. I have read on getting IV AB prior to surgery and that way they only have to correct the deviation and not scrape out lots of stuff. But I doubt this doctor I'm going to will go for that.
I'm slowly figuring out some of the symptoms that come along with Meniere's Disease. Aside from the vertigo-related blurs and blobs, has anyone noted vision problems related to flickering or reaction to repetitive visual stimuli? I've begun noticing lately that I get "irritated" (mentally / emotionally) by objects in my sight that are repetitive. The other day my wife and I were at dinner and (for some reason) she was swinging her fork like a pendulum. Drove me nuts!!
48 day consecutive headache.. vertigo weight gain nausea/dizziness vision blurred, can't read close up irregular menstral cylce - every two weeks depression ringing in ears/sound waves-by at times forgetfulness hand-eye coordination off, Treated with hidose antibotics, 49th day headache stopped. Pressure in top of head began and exist daily, especially when I bend over or strain. Mild headaches daily with occasional severe pain.

There has not been any more blurred vision, vertigo nor a heart beat, heard inside my head since. I have wondered if its time for me to have the LEFT endarterectomy done. High cholesterol can and will clog your major arteries. It has happened to me. I have an excellent internal medicine doctor who takes good care of my health. I hope this will keep any of you from having a terrible stroke! Get a carotid doppler done!!! .
I've had a 24/7 headache for over 15 years. I have blurred vision and double vision. I have a problem with my cervical spine (that's the only MRI that was done). The insurance companies refuse tests all the time. I have symptoms of an autoimmune disease and the doctors are unable or unwilling to tell me if the vitamin D deficiency is a symptom of another disease. I even have symptoms of Lyme Disease yet I consitantly come up negative. I agree with Kalio1.
I also have those bright pinpoint dots appear in my vision just recently. I'm wondering if there is some blood flow blockage to my eyes? I didn't until just now realize these things could all be related...my jaw has painfully popped a few times over the years in my ear...severe pain, then it felt much better. I DID have braces for 4 years and I feel like those may have messed with my jaw alignment. My first bloody nose in my life was in very early 2003.
