flexibility

Avatar m tn Sometimes when I chew or move my mouth, the area around the temporal bone (just over my ear) either moves or pops up and down or feels pressure. Also, I get really bad pressure in my ears and a popping feeling in the back of my head and a vibration between my ears at times when I talk. For the last few mos, I've also had vertigo where it feels like I'm on a boat, along with ear pain.
Avatar m tn I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
Avatar f tn The root cause of developing pressure can be our inconsistent goals. Flexibility to rrim our goals or balancing our goals can be one of the ways to handle the situatuon.
Avatar n tn My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
Avatar f tn This change is having 2 effects on users. They are either going to rehab. because of the shortage of Prescription drugs, or they are going to Heroin. We discussed this in the last few meetings. I have a nephew in Florida who was taking 40+ Hydro's or whatever per day from 3+ different Doctors. Now the gravy train has ended for him, forced to rehab. due to lack of supply. This will be increasing as the Database gets more centralized. Cannot Doctor shop....
Avatar f tn ve aged a lot in a short amount of time, my body. I still get the occational sharp pains in that breast. And I wonder where this lump is going when it's getting smaller & & &.. I think rest seems to be my only best friend, if I get enough of it I do a lot better. I haven't taken any meds for this lump, I refused medication........ but what really gets to me is this TIREDNESS, my energy levels, my body feels unhealthy, I feel incapable... I don't feel like me.
3109932 tn?1347067940 Hey..I've had a great day. Thank you for asking! Sorry you have had a bad day I hope it gets better for you. I'm excited about having a baby I'm 5 weeks and 4 days..it's my first baby so I'm a little nervous every pain or cramp I freak out..How is your pregnancy?
498385 tn?1362449404 I don't think I have any words of wisdom, but I did a lot of apologizing this year, lol. Even though I didn't do the steps I feel like I have made ammends with those I harmed, mostly my family. I just wanted to ask how step 8 works. Do you go to all the people you hurt with your addiction and apologize, sorry just not sure what you have to do?

Avatar m tn There was no need for any chemo or radiation since the tumor was well encapsulated. He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual.
Avatar m tn Hi Brad, I agree with nickppatel re the leg activity in water polo. I played water polo for 6 years in my late teens to early twenties (then joined the military) and I have a full understanding on the amount of leg work required just to play water polo, let alone being the goalie.
Avatar f tn I have a problem with chronic pain in my left shin and have had bouts with plantar fastitis. Suddenly by shoe inserts to support my high arches feel awful. What are the right exercises and what else can I do?
700000 tn?1231287536 The only problem I have is that it is kind of a bummer in that without the flexibility in my wrist, some of my basketball and martial arts activities that I participate in currently are limited. I still live a normal life as an engineer and go to the gym 5 - 6 times per week and never feel any pain except on REALLY cold days. I recently landscaped my backyard with no problems. As far as flexibility, I was barely able to do a flat handed push up 3 years ago. I am 30 years old currently.
Avatar f tn My daughter is 25 now, and 5 years ago she broke her femur and had a titanium rod put in her leg. She's doing fine, and now she's taking tae kwando classes. She is not sure, however, if she should push herself to do kicks, etc., or to be careful not to put too much strain on her hip. She's not sure if she can increase her flexibility by pushing herself, or if she could do herself harm. How can she tell what could be helpful as opposed to what might to damage?
Avatar n tn I am 28 year old, my hand shakes during writing since 8-9 years, which puts me in an embarrassing situation particularly when I have to write in front of someone. I always feel fear of writing before someone.
Avatar f tn ve been experiencing numbing in my writing hand. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any tricks to help resolve it. It makes writing thank you notes kinda hard!! Thanks!
1967803 tn?1325679473 I would go with an allergist. They have degrees in immunology, and can get to the bottom of it. In the meantime, please be careful - reactions can get worse. It happened to me, and all the while my docs gave me prednisone, and told me probably food, detergent, etc. Well, it got so severe (whole nother story) and ended up being a med I was on. The very ones they told me weren't likely to have allergic reaction.
Avatar m tn I had surgery over 10 months ago for a lateral meniscus tear in my knee. This is the second surgery I have had on this same knee. The previous surgery I had a medial meniscus tear about 5 years ago. I am very active and cycle about 5 hours a week and about 5 hours a week of more weight bearing exercise. I have not been able to regain full flexibility to the knee, I am lacking 10 degrees of motion. I ice my knee most every day after exercising.
Avatar n tn I think it's carpel tunnel I had the same feeling in my hand it was more my middle index & thumb that were effected
Avatar m tn For some people like that they make stamps for the person to use. I have seen a man that was quadriplegic use one.

Avatar m tn I am a distance runner that had a left side inguinal surgery last April. After a two month recovery, I started running again. I've never really run correctly in the past year. Working with a chiropractor, I got a hip flexor malady adjusted; the PT said I needed to work on flexibility. My left leg kind of 'hangs/float' and doesn't extend out normally. I feel it even when I'm walking. The odd part is that I can't really self-correct it with mental striving.
Avatar n tn 85 You are not too old to increase your strength, flexibility endurance or efficiency. In fact, since you are so out of shape-it will be more likely that you will have a steep curve of improvement with some concerted effort. 470168 tn?1237471245 My son has great difficulty writing, and I suspect there could be motor planning, dyspraxia, or even dyslexia involved. But what I have noticed is that he is writing the mirror image of the letters words and numbers he sees. IE. if I hold his writing up to a mirror I can read it. Has anyone else come across this as I am not sure if it is a writing problem or a visual one.
