finger swelling in hot weather

i had a hysterectomy at 31 and not i am 45. i am on patches...but i get this awful numbness in the hands in the mornings..i didnt know weather it was something to do with the change. I have noticed over the last 2 days my hands are swelling up and itching really badly my hands never swell even in hot or cold weather but my wedding ring is extremaly tight and I can not get it off but it's the itching too Anyone know what this could be I'm 36 weeks 2 days Thanks

My husband just recently bought me a new wedding ring set and for the past week or so I have been waking and my ring finger has been hurting and I'm guessing its due to swelling...is there anything I can do about this without getting it resized or am I eventually gojng to have to go ringless?

Three months ago i cut my pinky & ring finger on a saw , surgery was completed & been going to physio for two months to get mobility in the fingers where they had to re-attache the tendons , that stretching is going well but the swelling on back of hand--palm of hand & fingers are giving me a problem , i've been working through that issue(soaking hand from hot &cold water)(wearing compression gloves)(wrapping the hand)(wearing a splint)(arm elevated) (massage) & now anoth

To help with swelling drink water, elevate your legs and try to stay out of hot/humid weather for long periods at a time.

I'm 36wks +3 and I live in Ft Lauderdale. I stay in mostly under the a.c. trying to keep comfortable. I SEE August in the horizon...

Im 22wks 5days we went to an outdoor flea market and walked around for awhile it was really hot I was really sweaty I live in tx but anyways all of a sudden I got super lighthea,nauseous, and dizzy and I couldn't see clearly I felt like I was about to faint has this happen to anybody do yall think it was just the heat or could it have been something more I drank a bottle of water and sat down for awhile and felt alot better but I was to the point were I wanted to cry

Those parts where i have pain has no swelling and color change. when i fell pain in my finger joint when i press forcefully, it sounds and i got relief at that particular area.And at those particular muscles with pain when i try to massage it i fill pain with some relief. Please any one who can help me ?what can i do natural,medical or exercise? i see my doctor three times and he gave me neurovit ,Endometacin .for the time being i got relief for 2 weeks but it comes again.

I developed swelling in my fingers in both hands this winter. It is perfectly symmetrical and located in the fatty tissue before my knuckle where my finger meets my hand. They are reddish plaque looking areas. The doctor referred to them as red, erythematous swelling (I included a picture for you to see). The first time I saw my general practitioner he dismissed it as water retention and told me to change my diet.

However, what is not understandable is that if it is fungal infection, then why it is limited to two (1) fingures only (2) why it strats in September (end of hot weather) and ends in April (start of hot weather). I will be grateful for further advice and expalaination.

LACh it's definitely been HOT HOT HOT in the States so that's probably why American "Mums" are more swollen! LOL! But today was cold (at least where I am)!!! Not looking forward to winter...

Hi there, what wonderful cool weather that sounds like! I too am in the deep south and the only relief is the occasional brief gusts of wind off the gulf. It's hot, warm and muggy here night and day. I'm in love with our A/C! and I stay inside where it's cool! like im sitting 5 miles from the table when i sit down to eat........belly gets in the way...lol but not much swelling only when i stand too long or if the weather is REALLY HOT likeithas been for the past couple of days.. its been in the 90's... eww the swelling for me happens after delivery.. not looking forward to that. cause they put so much darn fluid in you ... ughhhh anyway...just 4-5 weeks left...

in the last week i have had pain in my lower left side behind my ribs.i dont feel hot my wife say`s.i live in michagan and i`m on ssd all i have for insurence is medicare.

It was simmering i put my finger in it and felt very warm but not scalding. I did not touch the bottom. Her leg is swollen and she did fall from the counter. I plan to take to vet in morning since they are closed now.

Hey everyone! 6 days ago, I wasn't paying attention and slammed my finger in a car door. I've been icing my thumb for 15 minutes, then alternating with heat, and taking ibuprofen. I've been to immediate care and gotten x-rays and it isn't broken, but it hurts so bad. My whole nail is black and my thumb is twice the size of my opposite one. i'm really worried about it. i'm gonna post some pictures so you guys can get an idea.

Does anybody else with chiari feel sicker/have worse headaches *after* there has been a dramatic weather pressure change in their area? I always feel more out of it/nauseous/head hurts after there has been a dramatic weather change. Its usually delayed one day, sometimes two. I always blamed this on chiari, but I did a couple searches and found that many chiari patients feel pain before storms. Wondering if it could still be chiari. (I had my last surgery in 2004). Ice packs I use them and I have c the ac on and 2 fans on me almost all the time. I can't stand being in the kitchen it's too dang hot! I'm in California and we've been getting heat waves off and on the worst was 110 but today is only 95.

My husbands foot swelled up a couple of years ago for no apparent reason, and he ended up having a heart attack, he went into cardiac arrest in the ambulance, and i lost him twice before they finally bought him back. but after having stents put in the swelling went down in his feet.
