fetal development at 12 weeks

I was just wondering cause a friend of mine is 12 weeks and said they told her there were girl parts today at her ultrasound. I think that's way too early to tell so I was just wondering.

Im aldo measuring behind and they are monitoring fetal development.... (I'm 27 werks)... they don't do that for everybody..BUT since this time around I have lakes of blood in my placenta and high blood pressure (both are associated with low birth weight) they want to make sure my baby girl is growing at the rate she should be... ive measured 5 days smaller from the beginning...

Hi, I'm 6 weeks pregnant at the moment and i thought everything was going find until i got a call from my hospital telling me they needed to schedule me for an earlier appointment because when reviewing my ultrasounds they saw a problem with the fetus development. does anyone have any idea what this can mean? I would really appreciate it if you can help.

Please help- i am really worried i am 7 weeks pregnant and have an underactive thyroid. My readings at 7 weeks are t4 15.21 and TSH 19.49. I have been on 75mg of thyroxine but doctor now increased to 125mg. However, i am worried that it will take at least 6 weeks for the increase in meds to take effect and everything i have read states that the most critical time in the first 12 weeks.

Second ultrasound at 8w 6d showed gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole measuring 5 1/2 weeks, but no heartbeat. I'm scheduled for a third ultrasound next wed, which would be 10weeks, and if there's no hb, it's over Is this possible - to be almost 3 weeks behind? My dates can't be that far off! Also, my doc did the 2 ultrasounds in the office, but gave me the option to have the 3rd at the hospital. Is there any benefit to that, vs having my doc do it?

Is this normal to not see any fetal pole or heart at this stage? The ultrasound tech said she wouldnt put me at 5 weeks 5 days.

I didn't think they did heart measurments or anything like that at 12-13 weeks. Did she have complications with her first pregnancy to warrent an u/s with fetal measurments this early? Strange...

s definitely better to go by weeks. If people ask just politely tell them weeks is more accurate and how many weeks you are.

Im 29 weeks on bedrest at home. Ive been on bedrest since 21 weeks and am 60% effaced and .5 centimeters dilated. Got the steroid shots too and am on contraction meds.

If you break embryonic and fetal development into thirds then when you are in your 28th week the baby begins its final third of development. (Gestation is 266 days or 38 weeks of development). So either way you look at it you are in your 3rd trimester!

20 mm Fetal heart rate: 164 bpm, the other one is 33,7 X 18,4 Fetal length: 16,7 mm Yolk Sac: 5,9 mm Fetal heart rate: 166 bpm Also embryon1 age is 10w3d but embryon 2 is 9w2d. I'm very concerned. Are those differences ok? The next ultrasound is in 10 days and the wait is killing me.

i read the bulletins about what fetal development should be at but they all very so much from site to site that I still don't have a clear understanding. i know that probably sound nieve but I just want to make sure that I am covering all bases and that nothing goes unchecked or undetected. Yes I have with my last to pregnancies. I was worried too. Just give it more time with this one they didn't see a fetal pole til I was 12 weeks. If the sac is growing every thing should be fine try not to worry.

she said that it measured 3mm and at this size she would expect to see a heart beat, got to go back into weeks but her opinion was that i would miscarry, but she could be wrong. i went thru this exactly 12 months ago but there was no fetal pole at all and it went on for over 2 months till i did eventually miscarry. the waiting is drives me insane.

Did they give you a percentile? My baby was in the 25 percentile at 36 weeks, she was taken out at 37wks1day and is perfectly fine (was small at birth 5lbs12.5oz) but seems normal otherwise.
