Hey, I am a 19 year old male in perfect physical condition, but suffer from chronic abdominal pain. I developed the pain at age 17 and have gone though dozens of doctors and dozens of diagnosis and five surgeries. Nothing has helped. I suffer from pain in my upper right quadrant of my abdomen, and when I eat most foods, I either throw up, or suffer from diarrhea, I have lost too much weight, 75 pounds in a few months, and am tired of not being able to eat.
This is a tough question to answer, since abdominal pain is such a vague symptom. Generally speaking, abdominal pain lasting more than a few hours should be evaluated. Especially pain as severe as what you have described. IF the pain has resolved, I would think that it would be OK for you to wait and see if it comes back or if you develop other symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
Regarding her episodes of vomiting and abdominal pain, these are also common in patients with psychogenic disorders, however I think it is important and a priority to make sure there is no underlying condition producing these symptoms, before being able to blame them on psychiatric problems. There are metabolic syndromes in children presenting with nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
Moderate to severe abdominal pain usually after a large or greasy meal.Left eye twitches before and after fainting spells as well as a right sided c-shaped headache that last no more then 20 min and starts behind right eye area.Any help or suggestions would be helpful. I did sex in my ovulation days and now i am feeling very severe abdominal pain from past 2 weeks i went to dr she gave me muscular injection and also did beta hCg and it was 1.88 but before 2 days it was 0.77 and at that i missed my period for only one day.. now i missed my period about 10 days and i did urine pregnancy test which also comes to negative but i m feeling pain as well as i m feeling like fainting, vomiting and also white fluid is dicharging from my vagina.
I always used to get stomach cramps and abdominal bloating/pain just before fainting. Sometimes I would get diarrhoea and vomiting in place of fainting.
I have since cut out all wheat from my diet - and amazingly - no more stomach pains, bloating or diarrhoea!
This may not work for everyone - but definately worth a try. If you want to give it a go, cut out all wheat products (check those labels carefully!) for two - four weeks.
Was this your first fainting bout? I have fainted 4 time when the pain was so very bad. What has your Gasto doctor said? Doctors are worried about getting hurt - last time I broke my cheek bone and damaged a nerve in my face. I don't have any idea I am going to faint - how about you?

How long have you been taking it, and what is your dosage? If you're not new to the Losartan, then I would be willing to bet that any feelings of anxiety you're experiencing isn't related. If the anxiety was related to the medication, it would more likely present itself early on in treatment.

t worry about it too much because our family (and myself personally) have a history of fainting, so I ignored it. In about May (I think), I started having problems with abdominal pain. It got pretty bad, so we went back to the doctor. She told me it was probably related to too much acid in my stomach and gave me some medication to take. Well, that didn't help, so we went back.
may 28th i fainted and it was due to a lot of abdominal pain. the from that day till july 20th 2008 i was contantly in a dying situation only due to abdominal pains. got very weak . i ahd my hiv test negative on the 13th of june. but on the 22nd of july 2008 . i had low fever for two days and it went away i notices painless red pimples on the shaft of penis and a cracky skin of my penis and a feeling of constant presure in pennis . what is it i m very worried.
However for past 6 months have had severe abdominal pain, chronic constipation, swelling, 13 day periods, painful intercourse, vaginal dryness, fatigue, acid reflux like symptoms, pain in various area of back pelvis and abdomen, fainting,etc. Have had CT scans which said chronic ovarian cysts, ultrasounds and blood tests say "fine" but still hurts. Whats wrong?
It sounds very similar to the pain I had with my gallbladder becoming blocked by gallstones, except it took several years of intermittent pain and diarrhea/constipation to get to the stage of constant pain and severe fatigue (although I was fatigued for the last year before it collapsed). You may be getting stones stuck in your bile ducts, too, especially with the light colored stool, and this could be very dangerous.

On the start of my periods I get an intense pain in my abdominal it starts right away and it sometimes gets me feeling faint (i've fainted because of this before) sometimes i get hot flashes and i always get diarrhea taking advil and ibuprofen don't make it go away until about 20 minutes after I take it , sometimes longer. I'm 17 and i've never had sex.
