Common Questions and Answers about Estrogen levels chart

Avatar f tn Yeah, although your chart seems to indicate a normal cycle with low temps before O and high ones after, it might be a good idea to have a couple of blood tests done. Usually they start by checking your estrogen and FSH levels on day 3 of your cycle...followed by a progesterone test about 7 days after ovulation (around cycle day 21 or so in a normal cycle). Best of luck!
Avatar f tn I started day 7 of my cycle, after 5 days of Femara beginning day 3. Today, day 9, I had my estrogen level drawn. I was supposed to hear from the MD about whether to adjust my Follistim dose today based on the level. I know my level was 123, but WHAT does that mean? Does anyone have any idea what it should be? Last cycle, we just did the Femara for 5 days, and had 2 follicles, but neither was mature enough to go any further.

Avatar n tn hello ladies, i just had my day 3 labs done ,and come to find out that my estrogen levels are extremly low, lt was 16. my obgyn told me not to worry about this and we would try clomid. ( which i know i dont have problems ovulating. i have been reading and i believe that estrogen plays a very important role in conceiving! am i wrong? do levels get higher throughout your cycle? has anyone had troubles conceiving with low levels? . can someone take estrogen supplements?
270696 tn?1243548020 ) In addition to the Clomid, estrogen rising and falling in the follicular phase can do that to a chart, too. Perfectly normal. After o, it should steady out. Pre-o, it can look like a 4.0 on a Richter Scale, lol.
Avatar f tn As the eggs grow the follicles enlarge and produce estrogen. High levels of estrogen in your body triggers a release of LH, Luteinizing Hormone. This is also known as an LH surge. When this happens it causes the mature egg to burst from the follicle. This is called ovulation. Normally, only one egg will be large enough to burst through the follicle during ovulation. After you ovulate, you begin what is known as your Luteal Phase (the second half of your cycle).
796506 tn?1370188305 Would anyone please take a look at my chart on my page and see if these dips dpo5-6 and see if it is normal... Thank you!
Avatar n tn I read that a c-section can throw off hormone levels. Maybe there is a connection between female hormone levels and neuropathy.
676912 tn?1332812551 Mid-luteal phase estrogen levels, however, have been found to be higher in conception cycles than non-conception cycles and this may also contribute to the greater frequency with which we see this pattern on pregnancy charts. If you see my chart I too had a dip at 5DPO and a rise at 6DPO....but I don't think it to be an implantation dip as my temperatures are again going down. Hope these information throws some light to your question. All the best. Hope this be your month.
1351105 tn?1277142905 No I have low estrogen levels for the past few months. My doctor did a test to see if I'm in premenapause. I'm very close to being in it. I haven't had a period in 3 almost 4 months. Last yeah I went almost 6 months without a period. I have endometriosis. Trying for another baby. No luck. It's been almost a year since we started trying. I've been having some crazy hot flashes since I got pregnant with my son and they never went away.
Avatar n tn I also do not have ovaries but I take estrogen. When my estrogen level gets rather high, my FSH is low (in the range of a menstruating woman). When my estrogen is on the lower side, my FSH rises.
Avatar n tn Last year, I was on the birth control pill (Marvelon 21) to regulate my periods which I had a lack of due to low estrogen levels because of, mainly, being overweight. I have not been on the pill since July 2007. I am just wondering, is it possible to become pregnant if I have not had my period for the past 4 to 5 months? Also, will I have difficulty in the future to get pregnant having such irregular menstrual cycles and taking the birth control pill so excessively?
1052633 tn?1311872678 i recently switched to another fertility specialist with more experience and when she looked @ my records from the other office, she informed me that my fsh levels are fine! it was my estrogen levels that are high. so what i was wondering was if anybody knew if by me having high estrogen levels, is that going to be an issue for the IVF procedure? i dont know if that's going to affect my ability to have a successful IVF procedure.
Avatar f tn I was about to start my fourth month of clomid tonight but just got my blood test results back. The nurse told me that my estrogen levels are a bit too high and that I should NOT take my clomid this month. Today is my cd 5 and my estrogen level is 162. Can anyone help me to understand what this means and why can I not do clomid this cycle? I am trying to conceive my first child and am very confused.
546318 tn?1328193635 I use CBFM and I collect the sticks even after I get peak and final high I keep testing so I can read the sticks myself to see how my estrogen levels are doing. My estrogen readings from first high day are pale blue. (the paler they are the higher the estrogen levels) This month the levels have gone slightly darker from day7 past ovulation. I am on day 8dpo today. So this means that my estrogen levels are lower than they were at time of ovulation.
Avatar f tn 1 Synthroid, with annual thyroid blood tests. When my TSH levels drop or rise above the normal range, the doctor adjusts my Synthroid dosage. I also have uncomfortable symptoms when I am not in the normal TSH range. Recently the doctor changed my Prempro dosage from .45/1.5 mg per day to double that amount. Do you think the change in Prempro could change my thyroid levels? Should I request new thyroid blood tests or wait for my annual testing which comes up in 6 months?
Avatar f tn I am not sure what you are describing comes from low estrogen levels. The wrinkles sound more like dehydration from the night sweats. Talk to your doctor and get some blood drawn and see what is going on with your hormone levels, don't let him or her fob you off with "it's normal." Be sure you are taking all your vitamins, as many as when you were pregnant or more, including iron especially. And get over to your doc! Good luck.
773214 tn?1295135069 The only thing different I have done was take that calcium d glucarate that my chiropractor suggested. This does effect estrogen levels I think so maybe that is why the change? I dont know. It is supposed to get rid of "old" estrogen in your system. I don't know. There was def. a shift in temps from the 97.2 range to 97.6 and it's been that way the past 3 days but I also maybe have been wrestless in sleeping? I dont know?
647212 tn?1223669611 t tell me he is giving you estrogen without progesterone??? Did he check your progesterone levels too? Do you still have your ovaries? If not, you are not making progesterone, and we need both. Sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between menopause and being hypo when you are going through both, except that instead of freezing to death you're burning up from the inside out, lol. Presently, I flash between cold and hot constantly. It *****.
Avatar f tn I would say yes that you are not ovulating like me. It sounds like imbalanced hormones. I'm assuming your estrogen and testosterone levels are high and your progesterone is low, again like me. Conventional doctors don't do a detail blood work like holistic medical doctors do. Believe me, they drew blood from me for 6 years of being diagnosed with PCOS and to their surprised I was diagnosed with stage 1 uterine cancer.
1047147 tn?1328906154 Is this a temporary estrogen fix as i would call it, will my fsh levels rise again.. The Re says my levels are perfect right now and will proceed with putting me back on lupron and etc....
