estradiol and clomid

guess I am not sure what exactly the estradiol will do? I am on 3rd month of clomid, took 50mg first two months and now 100mg and now dr put me on estradiol (days 10-14) started the estradiol yesterday. Thank you!

Okay so i just finished 3 months on clomid and estradiol . Yesterday i went to the doctor , he did a ultrasound and discovered i have PCOS . He has put me on femara and estradiol. Has anyone ever taken this? Does anyone have any success stories of getting pregnany and having PCOS ? God Bless you all .

I'm 22 years old and my husband and I are ttc our first child. My husband had a vasectomy 10 years ago..(he's 10 years older than me) so one of our options was to do IUI with a donor. I've had all kinds of tests to make sure I can concieve. I even had an HSG done. Everything was good. However, we have had 5 IUI's and none of them worked. I am getting worried that something is wrong because I've heard after 6 IUI's that it's a slim chance it will work.

Hi I took my second round of clomid 100mgs CD3-7, estradiol CD8-12, and prochieve CD17-27. I had a positive LH surge(opk) on CD15. I am now on CD31 with no signs of AF besides some cramping a couple days ago. I had a BFN yesterday 15 days past O, So I'm not prego. Has anyone else had this problem on clomid.

My estriodol level went up slightly to a whopping 184 on Friday cd13. The doc wants me to come in on MOnday for another check to see if I am ready for (trigger shot+ ) IUI early in the week. I had four follies on cd 12 measuring 12,11,11,9, etc. and the dr sent me home to grow a few more days. I hear stories of people having really high estriodol levels and mine is just under 200 with 4 follies. I am concerned this e2 level isn't strong enough for IUI and and I don't want the dr.

What should estradiol (E2) level be at time of hCG trigger? A: The E2 level should be 200-600pg/ml per 18mm follicle. Some doctors are content with a minimum level of 150, but higher tends to be better. I have PCOS and was put on Clomid, however because my estrogen is so low, it didn't work much at all...my follicles developed, but my estrogen stayed very low. So, next is hormone injections. Has anyone had a similar experience with success?

i am pcos and trying to conceive i tried 50mg of clomid and last 100mg now my doctor wants to try provera again because my period want start on its own when my period start he wants me to take estradiol on day 3 it that oral medication or an injectables what does it really means

im 43 and this is my first cycle of clomid, i am 3 days late but hpt result is negative. i dont have pregnant symptoms aside from headache.. is there anyone herewho's over 40 and taking clomid?

I started a cycle of Clomid on cycle days 3-7. On day 3 i had labe done and my estradiol level was 40. I went and got my labs done on day 21 of my cycle and my estradiol level was 837. its flagged high and is about 400 over the reference range.

hi dr i need ur expertise once again i took the meds as my dr prescribe and i dnt think the clomid as work for me this month if u remember i took provera to make my period come and i took clomid 3-7 and estradiol 8-12 today is cd 29 and i was suppose to do and preg test on cd27-28 and both test come back negative...and i had an hsg test done 2008 and i didnt have any blockage everything was fine...

t have PCOS, but I was not ovulating regularly. I took 50 MG of CLomid and then was on estradiol supplements to increase my uterine lining as it was way too thin.

hello ladies, i just had my day 3 labs done ,and come to find out that my estrogen levels are extremly low, lt was 16. my obgyn told me not to worry about this and we would try clomid. ( which i know i dont have problems ovulating. i have been reading and i believe that estrogen plays a very important role in conceiving! am i wrong? do levels get higher throughout your cycle? has anyone had troubles conceiving with low levels? . can someone take estrogen supplements?

I completed my first cycle of 100mil clomid 5-9 and took fsh cycle day 10 and it was 11. Is that bad. I'm checking for LH surge to go in for iui. What are my chances of getting bfp?

I'm on CD 88. Took Provera and did not have bleeding or spotting within 10 days after. Did blood work and it showed FSH: 6, LH: 1, TSH: 2.54. now its been 4 months and nothing. i was just tested last week for FSH, prolactin, TSH, and estradiol and everything came back fine. what should be my next step?

But instead he is switching my hormone completely to Gonal-F which brings my FSH where my LH is and gives me a normal cycle. Clomid would induce ovulation but not till cd17-21 and that is just too late he said. Sounds as if either your eggs aren't mature and that is why you are miscarrying or maybe low progesterine and not enough for the baby after implatation?? Im not no dr by any means though!

Once a cycle starts, ill be taking Clomid. I have a son who is 1.5yrs old. We tried Clomid and Menopur with him and nothign worked & scheduled IVF but got pregnant on our own and now that i'm trying for #2, i have PCOS again :( even tho the dr said not all women with PCOS the first time will get it the 2nd time... Hi everyone, I am on my 1st round of clomid and I just got my CD12 estradiol (estrogen) results back - they were 751 or 205 in american measurements. Is this ok? What were you results so I can compare.

My estradiol level is 350 and breasts feel really really sore, along with the nausia and uterus discomfort. I took my last clomid dose two weeks ago. Can this be clomid side effect or can this mean that I have concieved?

I did. I was 41 when I had Gavin and my FSH was 16, I did one cycle of clomid and conceived my son. He is now 8 months old and just as healthy as can be. Good luck to you. My husbands sperm is a OK, so no issue there! However with me I was put on 50mg of clomid, and after the five days were up then i had a sonogram to see if it worked. To my surprise there were 2follicles, so i was told there was a good chance that mont of conceiving. I am almost 37 years old and doing a hormonal profile this month (b/w every other day, basically!!) I had Estradiol draws pre-o, and now Estradiol and Progesterone draws post-o! On Peak +3, my Estradiol was 70 (went from 104 to 323 to 70) and my progesterone was 5.8. It is only 3DPO, but I am trying to get an idea of whether it's a 'good' number or not - Any help will be appreciated!!!!
