epipen kits

m also allergic to several medications (antibiotics) and my doctor said I might need an epipen when I take them to keep me alive until I get to a hospital. Just about all antibiotics close my throat. But I thought epipens contained epiphenephrine, and was told by a friend that it's bad for those with a heart arrhythmia. Has anyone here with PVCs had to use an epipen for an anaphlactic shock reaction, and if so, was it safe for the heart? Thanks.

This weekend was horrible, I had two reaction to the water, on friday it was with rain, and had to give me 2 shoots of Epipen, and than I was better but shaking badly from the Epipen, and yesturday just by sweat I did a reaction and again the Epipen but just once, and I didnt even went to the hospital after, his that dangerous if I dont go???? And his it dangerous I have to many shoots?????

Hello I have severe reactions from insect stings especially bee stings. Its so bad that 1 or 2 stings will put me into anaphylactic shock. I have over 5000+ PVC's a day and the docs say it is a supposed benign condition. (which I do not believe). My wife has never had a pvc or palpitations. Anyways, I have to carry around a epipen everywhere I go. Last year I was working in my back yard and was stung twice, once in the face under the eye and once in my arm.

Epipen delivers a measured dose of epinephrine (also known as adrenaline) using autoinjector technology, most frequently for the treatment of acute allergic reactions to avoid or treat the onset of anaphylactic shock. In certain cases it can be used to stop local bleeding. Alternatively, the same drug can be given by the local health care provider or you need to go to emergency department.

I am very allergic to bee and wasp stings to the point that I can die from a sting within about 1/2 hour or so. As a result I am suppose to carry an EpiPen with me at all times ( especially since there are a lot of wasps and bees around my home ). But despite this the couple of times I have been stung I have never been able to give myself the much needed shot. And to make matter worse I always have 2 reactions to each sting.

I was rushed to emergency, given benedryl and sent home 4 hours later. I got an Epipen for I was told, although rare, that I could have a secondary reaction within the next week. Sure enough November 5 I had a second reaction (bi-phasic reaction). I was given the epipen by my mother for I passed out and couldn't give it myself. Back to the hospital.

You may need an Epipen if it becomes more severe but in the meantime see a physician and buy some Benadryl.

I have carried an epipen for the last 11 years for my son and Thank God we have not had to use it. But I was wondering if anyone did have an experience like this and had to use an epipen. Or if you have any information on urticaria pigmentosa? ( I know alot about it but I always would like to know more. Please share any information you may have or experiences you incountered.

Yes, I take Rebif as well and I don't have any injection site problems. I just started 3 weeks ago though. But I take it at night right before I go to sleep. If I do it during the day, I get realllllllly sleepy. Hope everything turns out ok!

I have been having panic attacks ever since early 2015 when I was first ever stang by a wasp and went into anaphylactic shock.(the er doctor said I am allergic to bees/wasps/hornets venom. That day I was rushed back into the er and bum rushed by 5 different nurses and a doctor, one nurse asking me which arm I want the epipen in? I am like Idc I can't breath stab me! ) I almost died that day, and now I have been having panic attacks almost every other day.

With the talk of EpiPen in Michelle's post earlier today it got me thinking about my problem with needles and other self infecting skin damage devices. I am hoping that maybe someone will have some ideas or at least where to look for help with this. My problem isn't the normal fear of needles. I can get shot or blood drawn with no problems. Well except I have to be able to watch what is going on.If I can't see it happening I will pass out.

Has anyone tried the ovulation kits? I have the Early Response ones. I havent got a test line at all and last night all of a sudden there was a faint faint line along side of the control but then tonight there was nothing again. What do you think that means, I plan on testing everyday, I dont care how much money it cost me. Whats anyone else's opinion?

If you are not having regular periods, or any periods, then you are not ovulating. Urine ovulation prediction kits work 90%-95% of the time, but they fail to pick up ovulation in 5%-10% and so you might fall into that category, if your periods are regular.

I use the regular ovulation kits since they seem to work great for me (i get that fade into line early which is great) but someone recommended if you go online there is another type of kit that cost more, but gives you even more results. I was just talking to my friend and she said "suck it up" and buy the clear blue easy ovulation kit...i think it must be different then the regular ones???

re basically the same, although some women prefer certain brands over others. Usually, the 7-test kits are midstream test, so a little easier to use, while the higher-quantity ones tend to be strips that needs to be dipped in urine, so requiring that you collect it in a cup first. I've used both types and they seemed to work equally well for me. Best of luck this month!

Hello ladies, I need your help again with a question. Ovulation kits, do u test every day u think should be or every other day? Like I think I should be sat,but do I test,fri,sat even sun? Help?

I'm trying to use the ovulation kits but it never shows up as positive. According to my tracker I should be in my fertility window. Anyone else get negatives all the time? Could it be wrong?
