no friends or family here in Iowa. Everyone I know is in Michigan, got dragged down to Iowa for a divorce from my husband, and because we have children from the marriage, I had to move here during the divorce because he had temporary visitation every Wednesday. But now with the divorce finally almost over (In August) I will be able to move back home to Michigan.

m going through a much needed divorce, it should be final in September when I get my divorce decree. The DF and I are living here in Iowa as of now, but as soon as my divorce is final I am wanting to move back home to Michigan. However moving costs a lot of money these days, especially when moving out of state. I don't know what would be best for my family at this point.

So my husband is on my last nerve! I'm done with it we've been together since February 21, 2011 got married February 25, 2013. All he does is blame everything on me constantly picking fights! He's always right and I'm wrong Im done with it all, idk what to do at this point besides divorce, but then what happens after divorce???? We have a 1 year old and I'm 17+1 with our 2nd what happens in court about custody?? Anyone been through this??

I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.

I traveled from WA state to Iowa when I was 8-9 weeks and did fine. The from Iowa to MI at 12-14 weeks. Then We went back to iowa when I was 24 or 26 weeks and back to MI. Then at 32-34 weeks I had to make an emergancy trip to Florida and did well, even with hurricanes in the area. So my husband and I have been seperated since June (almost my entire pregnancy) and he also filed for divorce. I'm 8w4d along, planned parenthood suggested I wait until 12 weeks but really offered me no help as to who to see for an OB. I have bare minimum insurance and I don't know if my baby will be covered. I'm from Iowa but we didn't live near cornfields. In fact I'm from the Quad Cities (Davenport, Bettendorf), which is a bustling metropolis. And if you are in the cornfields, the fresh hair will be amazing! Not to mention all the stars you'll be able to see!!! Have a nice trip.
