s good to see others with the same problems. I was diagnosed in 1995 with TN right side. At one point I was up to three different meds then had gamma knife procedure. It worked long enough for me to wene off of two of the the meds then it came back with a vengence but was able to control it with neurontin for a while. Two years ago I began taking Trileptal. Long story short it flared up about 10 weeks ago worse than I've ever had it and haven't been able to get it under control.

Since our return from Jackson, MS it has been just horrible. The school calls me constantly at work saying my son wets his clothes and complains the majority of the time with a headache. I do know you are eligible for Cobra (36 months I think) under his insurance at work. It is expensive but you would get a rate given to all their employees ..better than nothing. If he makes the big $$$$ and you have been married more than ten years, it is possible that he could be made to pay for the Cobra. Ask your lawyer about it.

My guess is that I have TN. I've got a call in to my neuro. I had stabbing pains in the left side of my head above my ear that radiated behind my eye about four days ago. It went away. Now, I have horrible knife-like shocking pain above my ear again but radiating down through my neck. What do you take for trimengial neuralgia?
