iDaleo, If you are specifically talking about a PCR DNA (Qualitative analysis), I would say you are right. A PCR DNA would be very indicative on 28th day post day exposure. However, there is another type of NAT test which is quantitative analysis in nature, PCR RNA. This test is hypersenstitive and can detect in dire conditions ike 5 copies / 100 ml of blood. This test has been lately approved by the FDA as a diognostic test. However, it is not a stand alone test.

A NAT is the same as a PCR-RNA test and no it is not conclusive after 3 weeks.

Does anybody know if NAT test detect HIV from RNA only (converting it to DNA) or is it also able to detect viral DNA when virus genome is integrated into cell's DNA?

I called the University of Alabama at Birmingham today and they said they do an early detection test called NAT. Which from what I have read is the same as the PCR the Jefferson County STD clinic offers just with a faster turn around time. I am assuming they do the NAT along with the standard antibody test. I will 5 weeks post exposure on Monday the day I am scheduled to have the test Here is my question 1) Do you all recommend the the NAT/PCR test?.....

His Candida albicans (yeast) is 3+ on a 1-4+ scale. Also, he has a 4+ of Bacillus cereus. I have found that that is the leading bacteria for food poisoning.
