The usual symptoms of diabetes are frequent urination, thirst, blurred vision, feeling tired, cuts/bruises that are slow to heal, frequent infections and numbness and tingling in the distal extremities. Some of these match up with the symptoms that you are experiencing. However, your symptoms are also common with many other ailments. I would suggest seeing your doctor.
I have adopted a two year old son. He is a little short for his age but he is stalky. When we first got him about 6 months ago he would eat anything and everything you put in front of him. Now he has gotten to where he will hardly eat anything but he drinks constantly. It doesn't matter what you give him to drink he will drink all of it and instantly want more. When he is drinking he drink he doesn't just drink it he downs almost the entire drink before sitting it down.
I believe you are probably inquiring about your numbness because of neuropathy which is normally related to type 1 or 2 diabetes. Your symptoms are obviously a cause for concern and I would seek out doctors who can give you a proper diagnoses. I can't believe that you have been going through this for 15 years without an answer. They certainly could be. Did the doctors test her for diabetes? If not, insist they do so.
Does anyone in your family have diabetes? Also how overweight can play a factor. I was tested early at 14 weeks b/c I was type 2. I am considered obese.I had issues with my sugars overnight.
