Hello Maggy - Is there one pill to help with all three of your problems? Well, your doctor doesn't seem to think so. You didn't mention what you're 3 problems are .. At one point I was on both Effexor and Abilify, then my doctor took me off the Effexor. I have done fine on Abilify alone - but that is me. Did your doctor put you on all 3 of these meds at once - or at different times, in response to symptoms you were having? I would speak with your M.D.

I tried this as 150mg dose, and it was not the same at all as Effexor. Is there any alternative. Hi... some updates. I went back to the previous Sertraline brand I was taking, started taking probiotics and have been trying to follow a diet that would lessen the symptoms of diarrhea. Thing is, the first two days were alright (no diarrhea, but that would be due to the fact that I had to take an antidiarrheal on Saturday pill because I was going to spend most of the day outside). However, the past two days have been as bad as before. Today I didn't even feel like getting out of bed.

You may want to switch that generic Venlafaxine to Effexor XR and perhap talk to you doc about adding Lithium. Good thing about Lithium is even if you don't have Bi-polar, it will still help a lot as an add on medication for your Effexor XR. Generic Venlafaxine has no sustained release properties to it. This can pose a problem because it has such a short half life as atidepressants go. making the switch to Effexor XR and adding Lithium should make a world of difference.

t had any obvious side effects so I have stayed on it in hopes that I will find an addition drug/supplement that may work with the venlafaxine to reduce my fatigue and other POTS symptoms. go back to the psych ward and under supervision come off venlafaxine which then is going to be replaced by another anti dep. i chose option 2 as i will be able to get meds faster if i tip out completly, i'll let ya know how it goes like in another couple months.

I know it's a class C drug, and that it shouldn't be used in the last three months of pregnancy as it can cause harm to the fetus. That said, you should NEVER take anything without your doctors consent. If they gave it to you knowing you were pregnant, it should be fine. If not, do not take it and talk to them first.

This is the first time I have posted a comment/question on here but I often come here to read posts. I was recently put on 150mg of Venlafaxine once daily in combination with 1mg Lorazepam as needed. I am responding quickly to the Venlafaxine ER and have only had a few bumps throughout the day that required half of the 1mg Lorazepam. My problem is sleeping? I'm so worried about the addictive qualities of Lorazepam that I am hesitant to take it to help me sleep.
