I have it bad and I'm 12 weeks.
So i have never had acne my whole life and now my face has broken out pretty bad since i have been pregnant. Do any of you do anything special to keep it under control?
i have extremely oily skin and i think its because i use my acne medications such as differin and duac but even though i wash my face 3 times a daii it is still oily and its worse during parties because i cant wash my face then..? wat should i doo..any herbal remedies as well?
Do any of you ladies suffer from acne since youve been pregnant? I have a new pimple showing up on my chin everyday!

I bought tersaseptic antibacterial cleanser for my acne and my dermatologist said it's one of the best cleansers out there but I'm reading about it and it looks like it can cause cancer and it's bad for you. I've got really severe acne and I'm now taking accutane.
If this cleanser is so bad why did my dermatologist recommend me to use it. I also got a lot of skin irritation and redness could this be a bad sign from the cleanser?

A year or so ago she was getting a lot of pimples. We purchased a regular acne care cleanser and she began using it once a day. It made her skin very dry and flaky, so we switched to a "sensitive skin" acne cleanser. We assumed that the BP in most acne cleansers was just drying her sking too much.
She began using the sensitive skin acne cleanser twice a day. She does NOT use a moisturizer.
Her skin has begun to dry out again, particularly in the forehead and cheek areas.
Try a natural cleanser.. I had acne pre pregnancy and used exfoliater and a cleanser to remove all my makeup but when I found out I was pregnant my skin got a bit worse after getting in some what clear.. I stopped using the exfoliater and gently washed my face.. don't over clean your skin just stick to natural ingredients. . I use a brand called salida.. I'm in the UK if you I'm sure there's other products similar..
hi doctor im 14 years old and i had acne and some mole on my face and i picked 3 of the little moles off and now i have a scar there and my acne also left some marks on my face.

Hi well I've had alot of butt acne nd acne close to my chest lately and on my face too for a while now I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good dermatologist or doctor recommended product i can use to get rid of body acne.
Yeah I broke out horrible and nothing helped it was like every acne medication I used made it worse. So what I do now is use a simple cleanser (I use Olay sensitive skin daily cleanser. Under $5) when I wake up and be for bed and every time I cleanse I put coconut oil over my face and massage over my acne. It helps tremendously!
I'm in my 40s, and still having oily skin and some acne if I don't use exactly the right facial cleanser. Except the best "facial cleanser" for me turns out to be a men's body wash! I get it at Walmart. It's Alpine X-treme hydrating body wash, Mountain Stream scent (blue). I also find white vinegar to be the best astringent. Think of the money you'll save if these are all you need.

What products can I buy to treat my sons acne and would he just need a cream or cleanser as well. He was prescribed Erythromycin by his GP but this hasnt helped.

Clinique have lauched a new range of products called Redness Solutions. Using their cleanser and moisturiser will reduce visable redness of the face. I also recommend Eucerin's Redness Relief cleanser and moisturiser, which is a bit less expensive.
I had severe acne and it occasionally still flares up. I was so self conscious going to xmas parties that I had my fiancé put concealer and makeup on my back acne. My dr said it was hormones. I kept telling myself that I could be a lot worse (I only had a little nausea my first 9 weeks and no vomiting) and tgat it will pass (someday lol). Another great natural way to exfoliate is by using sea salt which has natural healing properties in it that help heal acne. Just make sure you mix it with a milky or foaming cleanser so it will easily glide over your skin. A good natural toner during pregnancy is witch hazel, I even used it before I was pregnant. As for moisturizers, there are so many good ones out there, and you'd probably need to customize one to your skin, but cliniques has some really good ones.
