Cost of pristiq with insurance

Common Questions and Answers about Cost of pristiq with insurance

pristiq

Avatar f tn I switched mostly because of the cost. $80/month as opposed to 15. What other drug is similar to pristiq without the high cost?
Avatar n tn You know why Weith Pharm (makers of Effexor XR) came out with Pristiq? Well, Effexor XR was and is the worlds highest grossing (sales) antidepressant in history. It has earned Weith 3.5 Billion (not million) dollars in sales per year. Just that one medication 3.5 BILLION! BUT as you know it's been 7 years since the release of Effexor XR and Weiths patent on the Extended Release formula runs out this month.
Avatar n tn Psychiatrist started me on Viibryd on Monday, April 23, at 10 mg. per day because he was out of Pristiq samples (I have no insurance and no money for medicine). Not feeling well at all! How long will it be before I begin to feel better? I am on day 4 with Viibryd. Will the Viibryd help balance me out? Thank you.
Avatar f tn Abilify can be used to augment antidepressants such as Lexapro. I use Lamictal to augment my Pristiq and it works much better than just the Antidepressant alone. Combining SSRI's or SNRI's with mood stabilizing drugs such as Abilify or Lamictal can often help a lot. Although they do take a good few weeks to kick in. In the past I have taken just about every drug you mentioned above, but I am supprised that your doctor has never tried you on an SNRI such as Effexor XR or Pristiq.
Avatar m tn can anyone give me an idea of what interferon costs im just looking for a round about figure so i can start planning to try and afford it i know what my insurance will cover im looking for either the cost beofre or without insurance as well as with insurance or just what you paid for it and if you live in georgia and have coventry as your insurance provider i would really like to chat with you about the costs
Avatar n tn So here they go, another year without health insurance because they can’t come up with the monthly premiums for coverage, and on top of that, now they will get penalized for not having health coverage. I am watching my kids get sicker and sicker and I fear for her safety as she still cannot get her screening for her cancer. I need some answers. I can’t sit back and continue to watch my son and daughter in law get sicker by the day because they cannot get their thyroid medications.
Avatar f tn My insurance charges $150 a month. Some insurance charge a percentage of the cost of the drugs. That is what we are fighting against in NC.
629668 tn?1222914854 It also depends on your company, because we also have United Healthcare, and we do not have any fertility coverage. I have not done IVF, but with meds, it will probably cost a minimum of $10,000 (depending on which meds you take, the amounts and for how long). I've been to two different REs, and I'm not sure if the costs are different, depending on whether or not it goes through insurance, but the costs they quoted me (without meds), were less than feather's and sarge's above.
393432 tn?1212209678 I have insurance and the cost for one month of Bariclude is going to cost nearly $400. Does anyone have any tips, hints, clues, etc. on how to afford this?
Avatar n tn I was prescribed Pristiq but i found out it was going to cost be around 140.00 for the prescription. I wanted to know if it was worth paying this much for?
1722607 tn?1335747858 Do most insurance companies cover the cost of treatment? I have Care First Blue Cross. Anyone out there have the same insurance?
Avatar f tn Dr Zenn at Duke told me the first step of Diep will cost sixty thousand.. with tmy insurance paying eighty percent of what they think he should have charged. I have Mega Life and they do not pay well. They only pay a maximum of two thousand for ambulatory procedures. Would breast reductioin and lift by ambulatory? Would tissue expander placement be ambulatory. How much would that cost... a range? How much for the implant placement. Is it ambulatory as well?
Avatar f tn Your doctor was giving the cost of the meds if you were paying out of pocket (with no insurance or assistance). Depending on which meds you are one, his figure is low. However, if the pharmacy said your insurance company approved the medications and that your payment will be $29 a month (your co-pay), then that is what you should be paying. There should be no surprises. Most pharmacies will not send out Hep C medications until they know they will get paid.
Avatar m tn Those that have treated, with and/or without insurance, how much out of pocket does it cost?
Avatar f tn My drug coverage is 34.00 a month with a 325.00 deductible. With max out pocket of 5500.00 per year. but with out this drug coverage it would have run around 50,000. without any other unforeseen medication.
5079728 tn?1365549989 I looked back and saw that you have hep c so I assume that is what you would be treating for, I would need to know what co-pay etc with insurance company is, what type of meds will you be doing length of tx (treatment) etc.... If you are doing the triple tx with incivek go to incivek.
210982 tn?1280983895 My initial visit was $190, plus the cost of the subscription, which with my insurance was $50. But he only gave me two weeks' worth. I ad to go back, pay another $100+ before getting another scrip. Later,a doctor much closer to me (12 miles, compared to 90) began offering suboxone. He actually accepted my insurance, which cost me only about $15 for the office visit, plus my $15 co-pay for the meds.
1615215 tn?1298648648 Last year I got diagnosed with MS in the states , now I was supposed to get my treatment back home , however im having problems with my insurance here.. When I was there I heard that if I did some kind of couse in the country for at least 6 months I could get the treatment. I ll apreciate if anyone knows anything about this subject in Maryland or DC ..
483814 tn?1214311480 However, a conservative estimate might be somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 US $. With rescue drugs, biopsy, etc. the cost can easily exceed 150,000 US $.
Avatar m tn My doctor (who I think is brilliant and I feel very comfortable with) told me he has placed many of his other patients on Pristiq with good results. As I mentioned previously, it is supposed to have very few side effects, if any; but of course every body is different. If you do not trust your doctor, maybe you could get a second opinion.
Avatar n tn The difference between the full cost of a treatment (which the uninsured often are charged), and the amount the insurance company tells them they will pay is often quite a bit. If you have cash and offer to pay up front (for a discount) you may get charged less than what they can get out of the insurance company, because it's less hassle and instant money for them. Just a thought, even if you had to borrow the money. Will your Endo accept results from another facility?
Avatar f tn About $20k for IVF with ICSI and PGD test. Also freezing of embies. Plus $200 for Accupuncture, $200 for extra frozen back up sperm sample. Meds about $500 in copays.
Avatar n tn If the insurance companies were not in the loop, then the cost would probably be cheaper. A few years ago I had to have an h.pylori test. I had it done through my mother's doctor, who goes by "insurance" cost instead of "real" cost. The test cost over $300, even though I was paying with cash and not actually going through an insurance company.
Avatar m tn Hey guys I've been on klonopin for like 9 months and pristiq...I take half of a tablet of klonopin in the morning and another half later in the day like @ 7 p.m....and then I take 2 pristiq pills at night be4 I sleep....so ever since christmas I haven't taken pristiq cuz my insurance doesn't cover it..
