Avatar f tn I went for a normal check up with my gyn turn out my blood pressure was to high so he sent me to the hospital during that time I was being monitor the monitor started pick up contractions but the doctor said I was fully closed inside they sent me home and now seem like the contractions got stronger a little I'm only 34weeks I really don't want him to come When should I go back to L&D like does it matter how far apart and how long they last ?
10021507 tn?1407285147 If it comes and goes they can definitely be contractions...monitor them and see how far apart they are...you are so close...
Avatar f tn I have been having heart palpitations. I wore a holter monitor for a month. My internist got the results back today and said that I am having heart beats in parts of the heart muscle that I shouldn't. He refer me to a Cardiologist. What do these results mean?
Avatar f tn Having contractions like every 30min. I am here at work i cant monitor how long the contractions are. I did have mucus discharge lately I think mucus plug? Anyone who had similar experience?
Avatar f tn My contractions on the monitor go up to about 80 they aren't really painful. Honestly just feel like braxton Hicks. Will they go higher once labor really starts?
5881745 tn?1395876750 Okay so my contractions are really starting to make it hard for me to breathe and I don't know what to do about it.
Avatar n tn s be measured with an event monitor? My doctor had not recommended an event monitor because he said the contractions happened so quickly that they might not be measured I insisted otherwise. For the record, weight and cholesterol levels are all normal. I've had good health all my life.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else had any Braxton hicks contractions? I'm 24+6 and had to go to triage last night due to tightening. I didn't have any pain but they told me it was braxton hicks contractions and just to monitor them. When you get them, what do you recommend to stop it or get through it?
Avatar f tn How far along are you?? I started getting actual contractions that picked up on the monitor at 34 weeks! They feel like period like cramps but alot worse! everyone tells me "you'll know when the real deal is here"-- lol im 35 weeks now & have slight cramping but nothing horrible... yet!
Avatar f tn The cramps may just be because of the diarrhea. I've been having cramps along with gas/very soft bowel movements. But the cramping goes away after I use the bathroom or pass the gas.
Avatar f tn I'm 4 days late from due date Dr wants to do this monitor testing on baby. Has anyone ever had this done ??? How is it?? Is it possible they can send me to the hospital the get induced ? Help!!
Avatar f tn How many weeks are you? I'd definitely try contacting your doctor to be 100% if your not close to your due date.. They can monitor you and try to stop contractions from getting worse if they're notified soon enough so you don't have your little one too early.
Avatar f tn Iam having contractions for the past 1hour now should i go to the hospital my husband is at work he 3hours away an i have my daughter have nobody to watch her ugh

Avatar f tn ve been having contractions I went to the hospital but I was out of town and they put me on the monitor and I was having regular contractions but I was only 2cm dilated for around 3 hours so they told me to try to make it to my hospital where they have my records at but I haven't gone and I'm still having contractions but I'm not in excruciating pain so what do you ladies think I'm trying to get everything ready befor I ho my husband can't do anything so I've really been
Avatar f tn I been having a few contractions for only like 30 mins and I wouldnt be worried because I know a few are normal at 34 weeks but ive also had a bad pain in my left side all day.
Avatar n tn I went to the hospital last night because I was in a lot of pain and it showed all the sign of contractions. I am supposed to go see my doctor sometime this week as a follow up. What does this possibly mean for me? They said everything was fine at the appointment, but they were really horrible at the hospital I had to go to. The ultrasound lady didn't even know how to read ultrasounds, so I don't trust what they said.
Avatar f tn My daughter went for her drs appt yesterday (she is 37w1d) and since she had high blood pressure, they wanted to do some fetal monitoring in the office. She was having contractions the whole time they were monitoring her (about 1/2 hour). Now for the stupid question - - - - do both Braxton Hicks contractions and "real" contractions register on the monitor?
Avatar f tn Im 37.5 weeks. I went into L&D yesterday because i hadnt felt baby moving all morning. they hooked a heart monitor & contraction monitor up to my belly. we heard her heartbeat right away. PHEW. then the nurse asked me if i was feeling contractions? I said i was having a little cramping but no, she told me i was having them every 2-3 minutes and couldnt believe i couldnt feel them. They took my BP and i was 180/90.
Avatar f tn Well whwn they put me on the monitor they actually found out i was having contractions! Im 28w + 3d! They gave me a shot to stop the contractions but said to come back or call if i started having more than 6 in an hour. Well i didnt know i was having them in the first place so what should i look for? Please help!
Avatar f tn They're over now, but I know they'd come back. I'm thinking I'm pushing myself a little hard at work, they're much stronger than Braxton Hicks. Those with my daughter were never this strong. I think it's just the strain at work.
Avatar f tn So I am experiencing very painful contractions. I started since 6 am, but now they are much much stronger. The only proboemnis that they keep coking in at 6 minutes apart. I went to the hospital and they told me its false labor. And they sent me home. I am in really bad pain though and feel that my contractions are really bad. What do I do? Please help me.
Avatar f tn So I ended up in the emergency room last night due to baby nearly giving me a heart attack (not literally) and not moving much all day, hes usually VERY active day in day out. I have been having contractions and they registered on the monitor, all the doc said was "oh". I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow. Could this be pointing to early labor any time soon or earlier than expected? They were about half of the little chart on the paper.
Avatar f tn I'm 30 weeks and 6 days. This morning at around 6 I had a very intense stomach pain that lasted only a few seconds and then a sharp vaginal pain. At 7 I had a less intense pain that was in my stomach. At about 8:15 I had a burning feeling in my stomach and then severe back pain. At 8:35 though I had another slight pain in my stomach. Could they be contractions? I don't know if I should wait to call the doctor and keep timing them or call now. Please help.
Avatar f tn Definately go to the doctor to get a monitor on, the baby and monitor the contractions. They had to stop my labor that early with my first.
Avatar f tn I went to labor and delivery not too long ago and I was having contractions felt like period cramps, the nurse said if you hook up any pregnant chick that's real far along, that contractions will show up on the monitor and they most likely wouldn't have realized it. But when it's labor contractions, you'll know. Those bit.ches hurt!
Avatar f tn m 36 weeks and pregnant with my first baby ive had a few bumps in the road that lead me to a high risk doctor while there they hooked me up to the monitor and told me I was having some contractions obviously not lasting that long but they where there...funny thing is I didn't feel them, then when seeing my regular obgyn I asked about the mucus plug and the nurse told me it's completely normal to begin losing it now which I have.
8296126 tn?1397528368 Usually no, but it's possible. I was in labor for 5 days with my son, Having contractions anywhere from 3-15 minutes apart and they were painful contractions so I couldn't feel him moving at all.
