It has been about 4 years since I have noticed dark streaks on my nails. They are not as severe as what one would see on a Google Image search, but they exist nonetheless. They have gotten fainter over time and are most prevalent on the thumb finger and large toe. They have disappeared on the middle finger through the pinkie finger. Additionally, only my index fingers have darkened slightly. This is similar to "blue nails" disease, but again, it is not as severe as online images.

Coloring is always fun...lots of reading....memorize lyrics to your favorite new songs. Scrap booking or putting pictures in albums. I love to crochet and tie flies for fishing (haven't done that in years)...gosh that has to suck. I hope you find something to entertain yourself.

Hi, If this is your first dog, I would suggest going to the pet store/book store and getting a book on the general care and living, with a dog. What you describe as a "french manicure", is normal for a dogs nails. The white/clear part is what is growing past his "finger"....the pink part, so to speak. That is the part that needs to be clipped, just as peoples nails do as they grow out. But you have to be VERY careful not to accidentally clip the pink part....

Hi i have been suffering from weak finger nails all my life and lately i decided to go to a nail technician to apply gel nails in order to have more support for my original nails.. I have multiple pigmetenrd lines on almost all my nails. The middle finger lines are thicker and blurred, and the 2 toes, 2 little toes and index finger have thicker pigmentation than other nails. I biopsed a nail with not as much pigmentation as the ones mentioned above (my ring finger nail) .It was clear , Im 16 snd i had these from childhood (dont remember when they appeared). im also darlk skinned. Is there a need for a biopsy to check the blurred and wider pigmented nail?
