cetirizine twice a day

i started taking cetirizine about one year ago for allergy, mind irrretation and etc. i took it almost every day and felt much. now m feeling that m addicted to this. i want to stop taking this but i con't . when i sotp to take cetirizine again the problems arises like allergy,itching , irrrtation . i went to so many doctors but no useeeee. plz plz save me from this. now m feeling that i can not live without cetirizine.....

Hi...I have never heard of that med, but in research see it is used for reflux and gerd jut like the meds I am aware of. The dr will RX meds for the mgs and dosage ( times per day) per ur symptoms and how much healing u need.....I am on a gerd med and take it twice a day..... If u also modify ur diet and lifestyle u may heal a bit faster and be able to cut back on teh dosage faster.

And then after a couple months of being on 20mg or Loratadine a day I added 10mg of Cetirizine a day with it, and my hips and legs are working better than they ever have, hands down! My phicial therapist says that my hips are at about 50% and 60% now. And I'm geting stronger by the week. And some of the muscles in my legs that haven't been able to work before are starting to work now, even after 5yrs of not working :) But this is why I want to know how much Cetirizine I can take a day.

My allergist from Cleveland clinic here in Coral Spring FL prescribe me CETIRIZINE 10MG 3 tablets a day for a month and then bring it down to 2 a day. I began with the treatment on March 2021 as today July 27/2021 I can tell you that I'm feeling 85% better before was every single day going to hell, today I'm not completely free, but feel much much better. Try it. CETIRIZINE is the same as ZYRTEC, but less expensive if a Dr. prescribed it . Good luck.

Some days im ok and I can be productive other days I just have to OD in meds to sleep it off. I also drink baking soda, apple cider vinegar and aloe vera twice a day.

I already take two antihistamines and 1000 mg of vitamin c a day.

thanks ladies for this, yes my doc knows of pregnancy, infact, he did my IVF, have been trying for 5 years, the reason i got scared was because i read from the FDA that cetirizine is a category B and tht means they cant assure 100% saftey, and am just 2 weeks in pregnancy, will be having ultrasound on the 3rd nov. babywanted556 - does ur intching increase after a shower? mine does, its like a reaction after chloroquine. pinches here and there, did u concieve thru ivf?

It has only happened severely twice before, once when I was at Disney World a few years ago and this past year when I was at sleepover camp. Both times I was outdoors most of the day for a few days in a row. Is it possible that I have developed an allergy to the sun? I'm very pale, meaning I'm very sensitive to the sun and burn easily, so it wouldn't surprise me if I was.

I used Hydrocortisone Cream USP 2.5% and a All Day Allergy pill 10 mg. The pill seems to be helping as I feel better. But I can't help scratching it. It is on my arms, legs, back, upper chest, and ears. But I am still not sure if it is getting better. Please help ASAP!

Does the regular Seroquel have to be taken twice a day? I take my morning dose and cannot stay awake; it's getting frustrating. If have I have to take it twice a day, does the drowsiness in the morning wear off after awhile?

I get hives and I take something that is similar to zyrtec for it. Cetirizine 10mg given to me by my VA (veteran affairs) doctor. It's safe. Get well soon. I know the feeling and it *****.

I now will have spontaneous eruptions of a red itchy rash with small raised bumps mostly on my torso or arms. My dermatologist did test for scabies twice and it was negative. He also preformed a bunch biopsy which showed and allergic reaction to either food, medication or arthropods. A month ago before going on Minocycline and after the shots had worn off, My itchyness was nearly gone even though I still had the small raised bumps where I had itched before.

It started when i went on a trip to a theme park and just started being sick about a minute after eating half of a sandwich. ( as it occurs when im nervous and also in the mornings quite a bit) but i just left that as food poisoning then about a 2 months later i go to another small theme park (i didn't eat as i felt sick, but smelt a lot of food smells) but i threw up again this time some gassy substance, i took some gaviscon to calm it (i threw it up).

I notice there is a white head on the tip as well. really dont know what is it.. I have been taking antibiotics (a week) and cetirizine (one month) and isotrotinoin (few months time) for a while. That is strange as I assume cetirizine should help anti-allergy as doctor prescribed to me when I had other allergy on my skin - it occurs when my skin have pressure on it and it goes red and itchy, when you scatch it, it swells a big piece.

I wondered because they only ever had me take the antipsychotics I've taken once a day and I always heard everyone else talk about taking them twice a day. I'm only awake 12 hours or less a day and the current one I'm on has a half life of 3 days so I guess it's kind of pointless for me to take it twice a day.

He has been taking Zyrtec (Cetirizine) 5ml twice a day (5ml in the morning and 5ml in the Evening) but still it does not help. Also he takes 10ml of Atarax Syrup at night before going to bed, His itching is so severe and it really bothers him all night; he goes to bed around 4 or 5 in the morning sometimes at 6:00 AM and of course misses school. I just need a Really Good Doctor who can diagnose him correctly. Can I try Benadryl.

Two days that I'm itching on my back, arms and legs. No rashes though. I took cetirizine thinking I'm having allergies but the itch did not lessen a bit. What do you think it is?

Hello everyone. About a week ago I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Even though they are not 100% and they need a second opinion on my biopsy, they are 90% sure that I have hodgkins lymphoma and almost certain it is stage 2. Even though it was devastating news, I feel it is not all bad, as at least it is cureable. However the problem is that I am getting married in June and have not started my chemo yet.

Benedryl is on the acceptable list of things to take, I took it only one night and it make things a little better but I still had it 5 more days. Each day was slllooowly less. Benedryl (sp?) makes a cream too.

- B2 @ 400mg a day (it has to be 400mg a day. you don't need anymore than that though) - Magnesium @ 400mg a day (you can take less if it upsets your stomach.. but try to work up to 400mg a day) If the progesterin isn't helping after another month or two... you could try estrogen during the week of your mensuration... it has Really improved my migraine situation I think. I use a gel form that people usually use during menopause but...
