Can you take mobic and ibuprofen together

Common Questions and Answers about Can you take mobic and ibuprofen together

mobic

, MAKE MY HEARTBEAT AND BP GO CRAZY. I CAN TAKE IBUPROFEN, MOTRIN...NURSE TOLD ME TO TRY THE MOBIC, AND IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, TO LET THEM KNOW. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON IT RAISING MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND HEART RATE; BESIDES, I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR A MED I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE (AND SHE SAID THEY DON'T HAVE ANY SAMPLES). SO I'VE PRETTY MUCH DECIDED NOT TO TRY IT; BUT, IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS, MAYBE SOME NATURAL OR HOME REMEDIES, OR EXERCISES I MIGHT TRY, I'D APPRECIATE IT...
I know how difficult it is to take care of small children and be in pain and sometime wonder how you can care for them when you feel like you cant even take care of yourself because the pain takes over. I have two girls that are now 7 and 8 years old and they keep me running. There are days I cant do the things I want to with them and they do understand to a point but I always feel guilty and feel like I am letting them down.

Honesty is the best policy. And then you can be social, open about what's going on, and utilize your support system (i.e., not isolate).
I hope you read this and can help me. I too have been diagnosed with Hashimotos and hypo as well. I can completely relate to everything you have written the problem is finding a dr that believes me without thinking I am nuts. Can you please tell me how you found yours? I have been through more drs than meds. Including going to Cleveland Clinic also to no avail. I cannot take the Synthroid for long as it keeps tearing up my stomach.
I sure hope you are all having a nice Holiday. Welcome to the room those who are new. Thank you so much for finding us. I know you can do this!
Julie101301 -- You could have written my comment. I thought I was going nuts. My poor husband. I was put on Topamax four weeks ago and have been building up to 100mg. I have been suicidal this week and that is so unlike me. We got a puppy six weeks ago and there have been times that I could drop kick her out the door. My mood swings have been horrendous. My husband said that I've been like Jeckyl and Hyde.
is there a non narcotic pain medication that I can take every day? I am 45 years old and very healthy besides my arthritis. thank you!
Hi Friends, Good work! Welcome new warriors! We are glad you are here. Make yourself comfy.
The average person swallows 2000 times a day, causing the upper and lower teeth to come together and push against the skull. People who have a poorly aligned bite or missing teeth can have related problems, such as frequent headaches or Sleep disorders, because their Jaw muscles must work harder to bring the teeth together, straining the surrounding muscles." a simple Google search for TMD would have provided this author with a wealth of informative sources regarding her subject.
but I am starting to feel the pain again in my right arm, elbow and fingers and after reading this I can relate to a lot of you. Thank you for posting and making me feel that my PAIN IS REAL and for those that are still suffering keep fighing because it took me 6 years for doctors to figure out that something was actually wrong. Thank you for listening and allowing to share.............
I agree with the above about the seizures - you need to find a new doc and quickly so that you can get a new plan together. Is that a possiblity? Don't want to scare you, just want you to be safe. See if you can get with someone tomorrow. Many docs will listen - especially when your honest. I hope you find one that will!! Anyway, in the meantime, keep your chin up, and try to stay calm. I found myself in major panic and it just seems to make things worse. Good luck and take care.
I have to wait this one out too. geeze, when do they just take care of you and help you out of your pain!?! When do they treat you like a human and not a cattle call branding each person the same!?! We PAY them to tell us to wait and deal! This is the only Hospital my insurance allows me to go to. The ortho surgeon is the best but the dr's I have to see for pain suck! I can't even work a regular 8-5 job anymore.
I stick with it because I can remember what it was like to be in the FOG of TRAM, to walk into a room, and forget why I was there, I stick with it because I would rather not get killed on my motorcycle from being too fogged to care what I was doing. I stick with it because my grandson tells me how nice it is now to only have to ask grandpa ONE TIME to be picked up. (Pappa? Pappa? Pappa? Pappa?
I've tried as many as 3 Advil (ibuprofen), and this takes the edge off the pain, but I don't want to take that over the long haul. It would be good to know whether the pain is neuropathic or whether is is actually from tight muscles and constant little spasms. Then getting the right med would seem to be somewhat simpler. At the same time, unless it gets a lot worse I'm holding off calling my neuro. I just don't want to start on another prescription unless I really have to.
I have gone off my anti depressant and blood pressure meds and mobic and flexerill.Pick up a book and change the way you live before Cancer comes knocking at the door, and if it does then you will be confident that you have choices for treatment and aren't driven by fear of the unknown.
My family history does have cancer in it, and my mother had utarine cancer and her uteris was taken out. Can someone please give some advise? Or atleast what I am looking forward to?
now i take norco and soma with a little cafeinne and some days the amount i am allowed doesn't cut it---some days i will have a little left at the end of the day. i take lots of aspirin----i alternate with aleve, ibuprofin and mobic for periods of time. none of them seems to be better than the other. just feeling frustrated.
My facets are pretty arthritic and I may need this one day, but with back pain you do what you can that will control pain, and "wait out the science" to see what improvements come along next year. I know if things get worse I can always Rhizotomize those nerves. Thanks for everyone's opinion and story. Chronic Pain will really affect you - so let's do our best to keep a positive attitude!
I have had an MRI and it showed fluid, so my doctor said put ice and heat and take ibuprofen. 3 visits and 9 months later he referred me to a Orthopedics. In which found on that same MRI a lipoma!! I am still hurting everyday and now do not know if this injury to a bone or what caused this lipoma! I am limited also for physical activities or am paying for it for days to weeks after! They are trying to see if this shot can cause the lipoma! I know it caused all the pain.
I am not a young woman and a mother myself, and can tell you, there is absolutely no question of the mother's love and commitment. I have oftentimes been amazed by how much this mother DOES for and LOVES her daughter. It is out of love that she is looking for other alternatives. But no one feels shame or guilt ... that's not even part of this. In my research and taking the time to read through this forum, it is out of the respect I have for the people here that I posted my question.
I am really interested in how you used the kratom and for how long. can you tell me more about this? It looks like I have another week or so to go.
I am currently taking about 15 a day and when I try to cut down I get very nervous and anxous and take more, can you tell me how to do this right. Please, I am 30 years old and have 2 small children and I know this is controlling my life and I hate myself but I just cant seem to do this. I appreciate any and all comments. Thank you.
//t-tapp.com/ pay close attention to the lympathy section and draining your lympathy system which you can also google. the bed pillow between thigh 1does matter. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU the way it HELP my girlfriend and I.
Hey, you should try and see if you can overcome the withdrawals first, but if it's to much for you, then go talk to your doctor. You will be out of comission for days, i guarantee you. The scary part is getting past the first 2-4 days. This short period of uncomfortableness is worth it. I am on 3 and a half days now and it's really hard, but i do feel better. You are taking alot so it might be devastating for your body to just quit so try cutting your doses in half.
again, there would be nothing they could do, and I am in pain and weak and I have 3 young children to take care of. Thank you for all the information everyone wrote. It was really helpful.
I also get nose bleeds that can last for hours and wounds can take upwards of 2 weeks or longer to heal properly (pour wound healing). Although I am a hemophilia carrier, and was negative for Von Wildebrands, I take 4000 mg/day of Vit D, and 2000 mg of Vit C, the research that I have done indicates that its a thyroid issue. After reading all the posts, the vast majority of them also scream underactive and non treated hypothyroidism and we're all women.
and hydrocodone and ibuprofen for the ache. But,like most of you, getting up and about for a while seems to make it go away. I am 60,male. Interestingly,in about 1975,while bending into a grocery cart,I experienced intense, nearly paralyzing pain in that area. Thought it was a heart attack. I barely made it home (I was alone, and unable to turn my head on the drive home). My wife called the Dr.,who prescribed muscle relaxants. Three days later,it was gone. But it was the EXACT SAME PLACE as now.
Good thing, although large, stage 1B, so no other involvement and I plan to live a cancer-free, chemo-free life till I'm old-er (58 now). So - IF YOU CAN, SEE YOUR DR. AND TELL HIM ALL, WHETHER YOU FEEL EMBARRASSED WHEN HE SAYS NOT TO WORRY OR NOT - IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE, AS IT DID MINE.
Try to achieve a normal BMI for your height and weight. Some people need pain killers during physiotherapy and you can take them intermittently and you can relax for a day when the pain is intense but the long term goal pain free and full mobility goal is present proper physiotherapy sessions. Follow up with your surgeon and take care!
