She recommended that I cut my Chantix dose in half, if it continues. So yes i am working very closely with my doc. Thanks for the kudos, the Chantix has really helped me , knock on wood.

I have taken it twice now, The dose is for one body type fits all so I cut the pills in half drink LOTS of water at least some food and take gas x for bloting, which gets better. I did not get the vivid dreams some have but I did not take the full dose I stopped smoking without trying by week 3 it was amazing. Unfortunatly I got so sleepy not sure if it was the chantix heard others said it was I had to go off it and yeap right back at smoking.

I am a smoker and just quit last week and I am now in my 9th week of pregnancy. I cut down gradually from a pack a day to less then half a pack to less then 5 a day to 1 a day and now I am not smoking at all. You're much better off then I was. I have heard that it is best to quit smoking if you can but cutting down is good especially if it will cause you less stress then quitting cold turkey. The sooner you quit the less regrets you will have after the baby is born.

t listed as a side effect. I had itching also but mainly my nose and scalp. I had finished taking Chantix by then so I didn't think to blame it on that. You said that you were having headaches a few days ago. Have those subsided? I'm sure this will go away soon so hang in there. If it continues you can always write to them. Chantix is a double edge sword. Be careless and it will cut you. I never experienced anxiety in my life prior to stopping Chantix. I've been involved in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. It's Chantix that scares the hell out me. So follow the prescibed instructions and treat this one with respect. It will save your life if you do.

I have had back pain and burning sensation in my lungs for 1month and a half now, I went to hospital they did an exray and ct scan and found no cancer or signs of anything but im still having pains. Im concerned because I have been smoking for 15 years a half pack of cigs.. what could it be if they did not find cancer on ct scan or is it beginning symptoms of lung cancer and they cannot detect it yet?

Being that I too have had a partial hysterectomy 5 years ago I looked into if in fact I can still get pregnant and just fyi you can and it can be very harmful but this seems to make a bit more sense. They don't necessarily hurt just sore and can definitely tell they are a bit enlarged which is kind of nice. Much better than finding out you are pregnant. I'll take this as a side effect!

Today is Thursday. I had my last cigarette on Tuesday. I am using Chantix. I have been having headaches. Almost a cluster type. Hi I did the chanix last year and it was a miricle but the doses are for one size fits all and I am a small person so I cut them in half and I still was able to quit for the first time in I don't know how many tries. I did have lots of gas...sorry drink lots of water and found out I was really sleepy so then I went to night time dose only. I quit smoking using Chantix as well. I am only 1 month non-smoking. I only took Chantix for 9 days as on the 9th day I found out i was pregnant. So I was non smoking and pregnant, to only two weeks later miscarry.
