Common Questions and Answers about Bumps on back roof of mouth

bumps

I often get them on the under side of my tongue. I have a bump very similar to that on the roof of my mouth in the back. I just ate garlic bread, so I'm wondering if these bumps can also occur on the roof of your mouth? I mean I literally just noticed it. It doesn't hurt though it does look a little red around the bump.
Hi-- I have a strange bump, pimple-like, on the roof of my mouth. It's pretty small, and in the mirror, it looks like a small bump, and it almost looks like there are maybe two other small bumps right by it, although I can't feel those with my tongue. I am a sexually active, usually healthy 26 year old. is it possible that this bump is a symptom of an STD? Or is it more likely just to be some sort of small thing, or just a pimple?
However I noticed that the front portion of the roof of my mouth had lost the normal pinkness of the rest of my mouth had, it looks white. the skin is white color and goes back about an inch and then begins to 'freckle' back to pinkness. I've never noticed this before, the skin feels like it always has, it does not hurt, nor is there any bumps or sores, I don't smoke or drink or any thing. is this something I should be worried about?
I saw my ENT doctor yesterday, but even before I went I noticed some small bumps on the roof of my mouth. He said the roof of my mouth was red too, and he prescribed a mouth wash containing nystatin, benadryl, and hydrocortisone, to take 3 times a day. I have to see him again in 2 weeks. The mouthwash is very bitter but I don't mind if it works. I was up the whole night last night with the pain, didn't sleep a wink. I took 2 tylenol 3s at midnight, but they had no effect.
I've had these little white bumps under my tongue, on the roof of my mouth towards the back and on the inside of my lower lip for about a year and a half. They do not hurt. They are uncomfortable as my mouth feels rough using my tongue. They just appeared one day. I have been going to many specialist in Vancouver over the past year and a half and have stumped them all so far.
mass along the roof of the third ventricle, posterior to the foramina of Monroe's which are slightly splayed by this lesion. It is isointense on T1, heterogenious on T2 with a very hypointense component and hypointense on FLAIR. The lateral ventricles are asymetrical, left larger than right but no frank hydrocephalus is appreciated. The small mass described above, probably with a hemorrhagic component, could reflect a subependymoma or an atypical colloid cyst.
i am now on day 9 of itraconazole. it looks like the bumps on the base of my tongue are back and the white rings are starting to spread down the lateral edge of my tongue again. i will take my 10th and final dose of itraconazole tomorrow. I have another 10 day course of fluconazole that i will try to take after this to see if i can finally beat this thing. my diet is limited to only grilled lean meat and green veggies. I have a diabetic friend, he lets me test my sugar from time to time.
I just gave someone a blowjob about 2 hours ago and my mouth just started having bumps on the back. They look like circumvallate papillae from my google searching of what it could be. However, I'm also worried that it may be an STD. The bumps are only on the back of my tongue near the tonsils and there is mild pain/soreness on the roof of my mouth. It does not hurt that bad but I'm worried it might get worse with time. Should I be very worried and what precautions should I take? Thank you.
After a few days and more pain and difficulty swallowing, I looked at my throat. I had about 10 ulcers on the back part of the roof of my mouth. They looked like canker sores to me and went away after about 7-10 days of using magic pink mouth wash. At this time I noticed a bump in the center of the top of my tounge. This bump initially looked like a blood blister. It is red with purple in it. It is a little smaller than the top part of a pencil eraser (width)and does not stick up very high.
In late December my throat was tight, a lump appeared on my lower neck for five days, one say my whole body felt numb and tingly and a lump appeared on the roof of my mouth that went after a week or so, my tongue also got two swollen bumps on it in the centre. are these HIV symptoms? Should I retest? is burning mouth syndrome a symptom of HIV? Or am I in the clear 100%?
But the other day I noticed for the first time on my tongue, these bumps on the back, I didn't notice any in my throat or on the roof of my mouth. There are different ones. Like the ones in the middle just look like little ones and the ones in the back are big, I took some pictures, I hope they will help. I have a pic in the other bulletin below Picture: http://s98.photobucket.com/albums/l273/maleficentmoon/?

For the last 20 years I have gotten small red bumps on the sides of my fingers. They don't blister. They start out as one or two and then I might get a few more and they seem to cluster up on only the sides of my fingers. They are not itchy but they are sore to the touch when you run your finger over them. It feels like you have a splinter. They are slightly raised and red in color. They will stay for varying lengths of time and then dry up and go away.
com/r/2nqe0ia/8 Note the bumps on my tongue, and the coloring of roof of mouth. I dont know if this is normal. The really white part of my tongue is only in the back, the front of my tongue looks pretty much normal, although those big taste buds (I think) have been getting slowly creeping down.

It started when I was in class and I was scraping my tongue on the roof of my mouth cuz it felt like I had somethin on my tongue. the part I was scraping then felt wrinkly so I went to the bathroom to check it out. There was a tan like spot in the center of my tongue. It was like skin I could peel off with no pain. my friend told me it was just extra skin or dried skin I could peel off. I didn' believe it. I ten went to the doctor to check it out.

I have little red dots in a horizontal pattern just before the uvula in my throat. They are sort of on the roof of my mouth but back further. ? He claimed that he had a scratchy throat before that ever happened. I'm afraid it is an STD. I don't know much about STDs at all and I am seeking help.. Am I just freaking out or is it really something I need to be worried about. I have not taken any tests.
I reciently went to the er, I felt like I had a rash on the roof of my mouth. I had a cronic cough for about 3 days. The er doc said it could be hand mouth and foot disease or it could be herpes. I am married, and not only have I not cheated but we have children in our bed, so even if he HAD cheated which I don't suspect, there is nothing going on in our bedroom, not even a real kiss. I don't feel like this could be an std.
Hi, I have something going on in my mouth. The roof of my mouth has a yellow tint to it, and towards the back of my mouth and throat there are red spider web looking things. Also there is a little white spot. Back of my throat looks really weird too like that. Also my tonsils look really pitted. I went to the VA yesterday and the nurse didn't really say much about it I don't think she knew what it was. She swabbed it and told me to come back in a month.
On Sun 12/20 I burn the top of my mouth with hot food (and i have a blister on roof of mouth) and same day I started using a new chapstick I have never used before. Plus I have been extremely stressed lately. Now my question is does this sound like a type of STD? (HSV-1 or HSV-2 or something else) Could it be just soreness just the deep throating? Fordyce's condition? PLEASE HELP!!!! I am going to the doctors tomorrow, but this is very much stressing me out, and worrying me.
They then seem to scrape off by themselves simply by eating something. They are on the roof of my mouth, the inside of lower and upper lips, under my tongue and in my throat. It feels rough when I swallow. I've had many tests done, swabs looking for yeast, blood work (I'll list all if that would help) and helicobacter pylori test. All negative or in the normal range. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? Thanks very much.
