I often get them on the under side of my tongue. I have a bump very similar to that on the roof of my mouth in the back.
I just ate garlic bread, so I'm wondering if these bumps can also occur on the roof of your mouth? I mean I literally just noticed it. It doesn't hurt though it does look a little red around the bump.
The roof of my mouth near the back of my front teeth and then near a molar of mine has been feeling a little sore lately (and I keep rubbing it with my tongue so my tongue somewhat feels weird but I think its just the friction). There are no raised bumps or anything I can feel that I don't think is just my regular mouth structure. It's similar to the feeling you get when you burn the roof of your mouth.
Upon running my finger along the roof of my mouth, there is a hard, pea-sized lump on the roof of my mouth. If I open my mouth and look, it is not visible, and is located under the tissue. As this literally began to hurt within a matter of an hour or two, I am wondering if it's some sort of inflammation that will pass. The bumps on my tongue have a different pain than the spots on the roof of my mouth. And they aren’t any risen or anything like the ones on my tongue were bumps but the spots on the roof of my mouth are kinda just like there. I’ve only had stuff on the tip and sides of my tongue then on the roof of my mouth, nothing on my gums, inside of my cheeks, or lips.
Teeth and gums tingle, roof of mouth swollen, kind of like dry mouth (not thirsty though), tongue will not leave the swollen area alone.
My dentist suggested trying biotene toothpaste and mouthwash for about two months to see if there is any improvement which I did and no improvement.
I am going to call my dentist and tell her it did not work, but I thought I would write to see if you have heard of this and have any suggestions. Could it be allergies? I have not changed my way of eating.
I have recently started to get other growths on the roof of my mouth. I saw my dentist last week and discussed the new growth on either side of the torus. He said that I dont need to be concerned. But just in the past 2 day 2 more bumps showed up. This time on the left side on the roof of my mouth one behind the other, between the torus and my molars. Please help me understand this. I feel lost and I am very scared. I have done a lot of research on this and cannot find any answers.
The roof of my mouth is red and very painful. The redness and pain is only located on one side of the roof of my mouth. The area also does not feel smooth like it normally feels with my tongue. It feels like there are tiny little bumps. I'm not sure what this could be since I haven't done anything I could think of to aggravate the area and I haven't kissed anyone or had any kind of human contact within the area.
About a month ago I noticed a small round lump on the roof of my mouth towards the back, now since I have dentures I normally run my tongue around the upper palate after I take them out...so I know this is kind of new. I had my upper shortened in the back so I know its not the palate of the denture because it doesn't cover it anylonger, but the edge of the denture does push on this spot. It doesnt hurt at all, now this is scaring me!!!!
i found scabs on the roof of my mouth (hard palate ) is this herpes ? I've only had 1 partner I've never seen any bumps on him and we did have oral sex and regular sex . Never noticed any bumps near vagina either. If I had herpes wouldn't they appear on vagina too ?
In late December my throat was tight, a lump appeared on my lower neck for five days, one say my whole body felt numb and tingly and a lump appeared on the roof of my mouth that went after a week or so, my tongue also got two swollen bumps on it in the centre.

m having a bit of a sore throat now, when i looked in the mirror, I noticed some very very tiny white spots on the roof of my mouth(not sure if it was there before) and very very tiny bumps on the roof of my mouth and all round the mouth(not sure if that is normal too), when i use my tongue to touch the roof, I can feel the tiny bumps, it remains the same size, tiny. Is this herpes?
I have two bumps about 5mm each on the left side of ny tongue. They're painless, fleshcoloured and have the same density as my tongue but they're definitely not just part of the usual formation. Anyone have any ideas? Freaking out a bit. Had them about 4 days.
It started when I was in class and I was scraping my tongue on the roof of my mouth cuz it felt like I had somethin on my tongue. the part I was scraping then felt wrinkly so I went to the bathroom to check it out. There was a tan like spot in the center of my tongue. It was like skin I could peel off with no pain. My friend told me it was just extra skin or dried skin I could peel off. I didn' believe it. I ten went to the doctor to check it out.
I can usually get rid of it by hitting it hard with listerne three times daily, but recently, I became reinfected with it, and this time, it looks like the Grand Canon on the roof of my mouth with a black spot in the center of it all. This is what began to concern me. It's not responding to the listerene like it use to. I am a smoker. I'm not sure what to think....... Any suggestions? I quit chewing snuff about a month ago. I have been using nicotine gum to ease the transition. In the past couple of months, I've noticed bumps inside my lower lip. They are small yet visible, and I can feel them with my finger. Also, my lip is a little swollen around the line that separates the bottom of the bottom lip from my face. I also notice the slight swelling in the mirror -- it is puffed out. I'm supposed to go to the dentist in June.
I saw my ENT doctor yesterday, but even before I went I noticed some small bumps on the roof of my mouth. He said the roof of my mouth was red too, and he prescribed a mouth wash containing nystatin, benadryl, and hydrocortisone, to take 3 times a day. I have to see him again in 2 weeks. The mouthwash is very bitter but I don't mind if it works. I was up the whole night last night with the pain, didn't sleep a wink. I took 2 tylenol 3s at midnight, but they had no effect.
