Avatar n tn My husband was taking Wellbutrin sr 150 the doctor upped him to 200 sr and they gave him buprion 200 sr(on the bottle it says just Bupr). He had lots of energy on the Wellbutrin sr150 and was a pleasure to be arounds, but on this 200 buprionsr he goes to sleep and is like snappen at me all the time. After reading some of these questions I am worried that things are going to go back to the way they were before he started taking his meds.
Avatar n tn I have just begun taking Budeprion SR. 150 milligrams a day. The paper the pharmacy gave me said to contact a dr immediately if I got a sore throat. I have a sore throat, and I want to know if I need to stop taking the medication. On another website, throat irriatation is listed as a rare side effect. I called my dr, and the nurse looked it up and said that sore throat was listed as a side effect. So, I am confused. Should I stop taking the medication? Is this a dangerous side effect?
863754 tn?1239144755 First off... Hi everyone and thanks for making such a great site! My aunt's doctor gave her Budeprion SR 150 mg to help quit smoking. A friend of her's told her that you're not supposed to take it, if you take any medications for diabetes. She does take a pill (not sure which and didn't think to ask her) for her diabetes and I told her I'd try to find out if it could cause any problems.
Avatar n tn • Claiming that the time to peak plasma concentration (Tmax) of bupropion hydrochloride after ingesting Budeprion XL is identical to that in Wellbutrin XL, when studies have confirmed that the Tmax for Budeprion XL is less than one-half of that for Wellbutrin XL; • Claiming that Budeprion XL did not carry with it a risk of dose dumping when taken with food, though reports have indicated that food may increase chance for toxicity; • Claiming that human studies were done comparing Budeprion XL t
10168 tn?1470588977 Is there a place where I can get allergy testing of inactive ingredients that's in my Synthroid? Thanks.
Avatar f tn Levothyroxine is the active ingredient for both of them; the difference is the inactive ingredients (fillers/binders and dyes) they each contain. Levothyroxine is also the generic for all brands of T4 medications. Inactive ingredients in Synthroid are: acacia, confectioner's sugar, D&C Red No. 27 & D&C Red No. 30, FD&C Blue No. 1, lactose, magnesium stearate, povidone, and talc.
Avatar n tn Are there any antidepressants that will make me more alert rather than sleepy and tired? This has been my experience with all the drugs I've tried so far. Budeprion being the last one and the worse cause it makes me so sleepy and lethargic, yeah too often I find myself sitting there as if lifeless, staring into space, feeling like a rock with no feelings or emotions...Are there any drugs that will give me more pep and energy instead of making me just wanna stay in bed all day?
Avatar f tn “Nature-Throid is a hypoallergenic combination thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) hormone replacement drug made from Thyroid USP. Nature-Throid is formulated using hypoallergenic inactive ingredients and does not contain any artificial colors or flavors, corn, peanut, rice, gluten, soy, yeast, egg or fish/shellfish.” I notice is doesn’t say what it DOES contain, just what it doesn’t.
Avatar f tn //www.pdr.net/full-prescribing-information/Nature-Throid-thyroid-496 https://www.drugs.com/pro/armour-thyroid.html From review of the active ingredients I can't imagine why there would be a difference in thyroid effect. If it were me I would question cutting your dosage in half and risking becoming hypo again, unless the doctor can provide a valid reason. I have switched from Armour to NatureThroid without noticing any effect. What is your current daily dosage?
Avatar n tn Generic pills do differ, however, in the inactive ingredients, such as color, flavoring, preservatives and the filler materials that hold the pill or tablet together. Although uncommon, some people may be allergic to one or more of these inactive ingredients. Issues with Seizure Medications For some people using certain medications, generics can be a problem. This is most often a problem with medications in which even a miniscule change in dose can be ineffective or cause side effects.
Avatar m tn Aleve's first inactive ingredient is magnesium and magnesium blocks the absorption of synthroid. So why isn't alleve on the interaction list with Synthroid?
Avatar m tn The only thing that I can think of is I used to use bupropion by watson and now they gave me budeprion by teva. If anyone has had the same problem than please let me know. I felt so good and things were going so well. I have to get back on the wellbutrin that worked because I can't live this way again! I've read online that sometimes switching the maker of generic forms of drugs can cause problems but, I can't believe that it just stopped working like that!
Avatar n tn I was taking a Wellbutrin SR 150mg generic (manufactured by Teva) twice a day for approximately 9 months with good results for anxiety/depression. Then I changed from a local drugstore chain to a mail order prescription service to save money. The mail order service sent me a generic that is maufactured by Sandoz(I went from a yellow pill to a purple one).
Avatar n tn Generics all have their own names but from a chemical standpoint, the active ingredients are identical to the name brand. Where Junel and Blisovi differ is just in the inactive ingredients.
Avatar f tn I have looked up all the medications available for hypothyroid and they all seem to contain the same inactive ingredients. Getting pretty scared at this point. Dr. says to take antihistamines before taking the synthroid, but hives are still there and I can still feel the reaction going on. Don't know how much longer I can continue this. Please help!
Avatar n tn yes that's true, i have been working here in Kuwait for 24 years as a Sr. Engineer, last Sept. ko lang nalaman na Positve ako sa HEPA - B, but unfortunately the diagnose is Inactive virus. ang masaklap dina ako makakabalik sa Company ko dahil sa virus na ito kaya no choice back to philippines na lang para magpagaling.
Avatar m tn Some other companies which has same composition but other inactive ingredients and preservatives, they might take the color of inactive ingredients or color of natural or synthetic chemicals mixed: like Vytone or Ethex,Alcortin,Glades or Dynarex. If you might have noticed on the label it says 'Paraben free',which is a potential ingredient if included in composition causes severe allergic reactions, which is a good thing.
Avatar n tn I was on amitriptiline for 7 years and I am also taking 10-20 mg just for a week till the budeprion kicks in and then I will be off of amitriptiline. That was a real weight gainer medicine, I would have never gained 30 pounds if I had never been on that stuff. It was a good medicine if it was for the weight gain. I felt good on it and it helped me sleep.
Avatar n tn Yes, Synthroid is the same as Levoxyl as being a brand thyroid medication. However, Levoxyl has less inactive ingredients than Synthroid, with less chance for adverse reactions. Active ingredients are the same. The active ingredient T4, is not known to cause adverse issues, however, the inactive ingredients in all the thyroid medications (including Armour and Cytomel), are the actual culprits. Armour is not a 100% natural. Nor a 100% cure-all for all our symptoms.
