I have just begun taking Budeprion SR. 150 milligrams a day. The paper the pharmacy gave me said to contact a dr immediately if I got a sore throat. I have a sore throat, and I want to know if I need to stop taking the medication. On another website, throat irriatation is listed as a rare side effect. I called my dr, and the nurse looked it up and said that sore throat was listed as a side effect. So, I am confused. Should I stop taking the medication? Is this a dangerous side effect?

I still dont understand how wellbutrin is supposed to work for anxiety, because it is actually a stimulant.. I was on it for about 2 years when I was a kid for anger issues.

Budeprion XL is giving me extreme anxiety and racing heart. Have been on it for about a month.i am also on Escitraprolam. How can I taper off the budeprion XL. Was thinking of starting by 1 every other day for a while, then every third day and so on.

Get off the NIACIN! Doesn't matter if it SR or IR. But SR is much better. Yes, it does bring down Triglycerides, LDL. But at the recommended dose of 1000mg at night with an 82mg aspirin you are cutting off your nose despite your face. There are other ways to lower Triglycerides. I was on 1000mg p/n of Niacin ordered by my Primary Dr. The Niacin was terrible for me. My GI Dr. immediately took me off the Niacin.

Last week my psychiatrist increased my Budeprion SR (generic Wellbutrin) from 300mg daily to 450mg daily. I got the script filled but when I got home and thought about it, I checked to see what is the max recommended dosage... It's 400mg daily. You have to have a compound pharmacy make this for you. It isn't under a brand name. My endo has used a compound pharmacy with some of his patients using this, but it is very expensive.

I've been taking Bupropion(generic) for 3 months. I've tried 300mg-XL, 2x150mg-SR, and both times (though I'd take the morning dose at 6AM) had a hard time falling asleep at night, tossing around in bed an hour or so. I normally don't have a sleeping problem. So, I now take only one 150mg-SR around 7AM and no afternoon dose. I can fall asleep fine now, but my energy runs out in the late afternoon ...

Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.

Gives me something to hope for, lol! Like I said this is day 1 for me. Havent really felt any side affects except plain stupidity! Let me explain, haha....Dont know if it was med or not, but instead of pouring laundry detergent in full washer load, I poured bleach! Rythmol is one of the "milder" drugs as I understand choices, that and Propafenone are about the same, Rythmol is available in SR, Propafenone is not, so it has to be taken more often, a bother. Aspirin is also the mildest measure to take for anticoagulant benefits, protection against clots. Better than Coumadin and aspirin has other benefits if it doesn't give your stomach problems...take with food.
