The pain usually comes on if I bend over to reach for or to pick something up, carrying something heavy, sitting in a car on a bumpy street, or running, any bouncing of the body up and down. And the pain will subside somewhat If I lie down, best on one side or the other.
My question is don’t these positional factors mean something or shouldn’t they be helpful in finding a diagnosis? Aren’t they a clue as to what’s causing this pain?
I am 12 weeks along and the back pain is getting to me. Doctor said it's normal but I'm not even big yet. I fear it will only get worse as time goes on. Getting a body pillow this weekend. Any suggestions of pillows, stretches anything to help?

Have you tried rocking (circular motion) on your hands and knees!? When I get extreme pain that's my first position I do even when it's just gas pains or I'm taking a shower. Hope it helps!
I could actually feel as if gas was travelling through my whole body. its really painful. My doctor advised me to have Duspatalin 200mg capsules. I really felt better after having taking this medicine. Less flatulence ,basically no gas ,no more abdominal cramps ,no more constipation that's what i experienced.
I'm sorry to hear about your husband's pain....has he tried pain managment therapy...which includes electrode ultrasounds and steroid shots??
My scale states that my % body fat is 21. Is this a healthy number to be at? I realize this sounds warped but based on my perception of my mirror image and the way my stomach appears as I look down, I'm concerned I may be heavy for how petite my build is. I apologize for the length. Any thoughts?

Having some pain in my upper abdomen right under my ribs. How can you tell if it's gas pain or something serious? It could also be gas. Sounds weird but gas can manifest itself anywhere in your body.
my age is 26, working in an ad agency. from past8 month i suffering sum pain in my left right, back side.
i have done stress test, 2d echo, chest x ray....all normal.visited my doctor several time bt all he saying is it is a muscular pain. may be due to gas. i do have gas & acidity problem, & motion are not regular.
bt the chest pain keep coming in every day or two, & got irritated with it so do my family.

Sounds like gas to me. Gas can cause all kinds of pain, pain that a person would not even think of.
If you have this alot, I would suggest trying some digestive enzymes, this helps with gas, also, you might want to see a chiropractor, you could very well have some misplaced vertebrae in your mid back, and if that is the case, you will sure have the pain you described.
Pain in this area always alerts a physician to first check the Gallbladder. The Gallbladder also refers pain to the right shoulder. If the shoulder and jaw pain was on the LEFT side of the body, the heart and cardiovascular system should be evaluated and clinical correlation is required. Other less likely considerations would be accute myocardial infarction, gas, indigestion, intercostal neuritis, and diverticulitis.
