Big bumps on face but not pimples

Common Questions and Answers about Big bumps on face but not pimples

bumps

For about a year I've been getting bumps (pimple like) on my face. They grow very big and when, and if they pop, a really large amount of puss comes out of them. I even had to have one removed by a dermotologist. They don't always appear but they stay for a long time. I have the same ones on my pubic area. They are never right on the vigina but around it. Sometimes where the leg already starts. I'm very concerned because I have no Idea what that is. They are not regular zits.
I wanted to ask do anyone know of a good product that will help to clear my skin up as well as stop the breakouts with these big pimples that leaves scars black spots on my forehead mainly. I have tried procative it does work but didnt take away the dark spots I have used the skin- lighting cream also but its not making them lighter.
My 14 yr old daughter has terrible acne not only on her face, but her back and then she said she got and underground on her behind. Not only have I gotten Proativ and Exposed which are both very expensive and barely help her, she also is very hairy on her lip and chin, arms, legs and even her back. She's been that way since her childhood and we are starting to thin that it is a hormone problem.
I am a virgin and not yet sexually active , as i am only 15 . but yeah can someone give me some info on what this is ? is it permanent ? will it dissapear once my pubic hairs grow back ? HELP!
i have been getting teeny tiny bumps in a strange spot: just on that small space of skin on the lid that is just between where my eyelashes start, and my eyeball... if that makes sense?? they appear one or two at a time randomly, on the top or bottom lids. They look almost like very small blisters, and are only mildly irritating when they get to a size big enough to rub on my eyeball (which is still very small- smaller than a pin head).
They are hard and have this white colour to them. The two pimples are not that big, they look like a pimple you get on the face. one of the pimples hurts if i squeeze is too hard but the other one doesn't. I'm sexually active and about 7 months ago i had my penis checked by my family Doctor because of this small bumps which he called normal. But this times these two pimples are bigger and one of them hurts so thats why im concerned about it. What could this be? Could it be pimples?
as much as i would like to think its just a pimple i'm pretty sure its not as i don't get pimples elsewhere on my face and these bumps seems to come back to the same basic area below my lip over and over. what are your thoughts on the single bump vs cluster?
Feb – Increase in acne type dermatitis with clear fluid on face. These acne type of bumps I get on my chin, cheeks, crease of nose and just out side the lip line near lips. They get red and quickly develop into white head looking pimples. Some times they are not just round. They sometimes are linear and almost look like little welts. When ruptured they have mostly a clear like fluid, but sometimes it is a whiter puss like fluid.
I have the almost the same problem. My face is all blotchy. I use mild cleansers and such, but my face is always red! I don't understand. Someone help? I'd really like to know also.
Everything has kind of helped, but not completely. I am just not sure if I have a mixture of different infections going on or if it is all the same thing.
Suzanne, I do not pretend to be an expert, but in my research I have found that there is evidence linking demodex mites to some forms of skin disease like rosacea, possibly due to the bacterium Bacillus oleronius found in the mites. Two species of the mites living on humans have been identified: Demodex folliculorum (live in our hair) and Demodex brevis (live on the face). Infestation with Demodex mites is somewhat common and does not necessarily cause any symptoms in some people.
Her face seems to break out in pimple like bumps sometimes there small and not noticable but sometimes a few of them can get red and mean looking.. The doc just says its overally sensitive skin or a allergy that just reacts to differant things.. Some days her face is perfectly clear and others she has a few pimple like spots.. They come and go.. Seems to be worse in the HOT months and not as bad in the cooler months ..When they appear they mostly form on her cheeks or on her forehead..
I am a 19 year old female and I suffer from nodular acne too on the face and on the back. My derm told me that a bacterial test isn't necessary as acne isn't an infectious disease. He put me on Ro-Accutane and Isotrexin instead. one of my nodules got infected however and he drained it and put me on antibiotics for ten days to avoid further infection. I was wondering if a bacterial test might be a solution, in spite of my derm dismissing it and whether draining it was a good choice.
Im 25 weeks pregnant in I have black spots /bumps in my face in chest, do y'all know anything that will clear it up?
Clinique, 360 clean, noxema, etc. I don't necessarily have 'pimples.' Every now and then I will, but not very often. Instead, I have pimple-sized red dots that seem to be stained onto my forehead. I wash my face at least twice a day. I don't use cheap makeup. At first, I thought my face was just oily. But after every wash my face will be dry and tight, mostly towards my forehead. I'm going to a dermatologist next month, but is there any advice anyone could give me until then??
I hope someone has a better solution to this. I have tried Nair, but I still have to pick at these hairs. Very time consuming. Not too big of a difference.
My symptoms sound exactly like what you have. I also have thought that it could possibly be Fordyce, but the small patch of bumps on my lip are sooo tiny and are the same color as my lip that it doesn't seem to match the Fordyce symptoms. Like you, my lips are dry (they normally are not) and the small patch of very tiny bumps feels scaly when i run my tongue over it.
Just recently, it would appear that I have two lumps starting up on the same site, but on the other hand. Not at all painful but I am afraid I feel it makes my hands look rather awful. When holding a pen etc. I feel the lump is a bit of an impediment to writing.
I do get the regular pimples on my face but not anything really big I just get this big lumps on my head and it just started happening about 2 months ago.
It can develop on any part of the body, but is most likely to occur on the scalp, face, or parts of the arms, armpits, or legs not usually covered by clothing. Scratching the affected area can trap fungus or bacteria under the fingernails and spread the infection to hair follicles on other parts of the body.Never try to pop them as you will only aggravate the condition. Bacterial folliculitis may disappear without treatment, but is likely to recur.
looking substance called keratin. They may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts. I have these large red bumps that appear in various places on my body, Arm, thigh, stomach, back But its not like a normal pimple or a sort of acne its one large red bump that pops like if its a boil. I do not mean to pop it just when i feel something I make give it a small squeeze and it will pop just like that. I dont even squeeze very hard. Its big and soft and when air gets into the hole from which it popped everything gets all hard underneath. About thumb nail size.
Before i had sex with this girl i didnt have a trace of acne, but now my face continually breaks out with pimples. What is happening and is this curable or treatable?
i also have somthing very similar, i was recently treated for sweating on my groin, like on the high inner leg, i didnt show the doc the bumps on my penis but maybe that has something to do with it...
Over the course of time my face has began to breakout, which isn't a big deal, I have had bad acne/pimples my entire life but about 3 weeks ago I noticed a small patch of white dots appeared on the very corner of my mouth. They do not hurt and you can only really see them when i push my lip out with my tongue. I have since then seen a Dr and he insisted they were cists and would eventually go away so I said okay, no big deal.
I found today a bump not on my vagina but where the pubes grow the most. I'm 14 and I have not had sex yet. I've recently started taking birth control for cramps. Could it be an allergic reaction? Should I be worried?
I ended up falling back to sleep but when I woke up in the morning, I had big and small red itchy bumps on my lower right leg. I took some Benedryl and put on some hydrocortisone cream, that helped for about two hours to relieve the itch, but after that, it came back. I did the same treatment but it didn't wok the second time. I was loking at pictures on Google, searching Chiggers since that is a main concept on here, and one in particular looked just like mine, here is the link: http://maxcdn.
Hi, I like 6 months ago I notice that I had dandruff and little bumps or pimples on my head, I used a special shampoo and the dandruff went away but the pimples stayed. they would each sometimes but they were not a big problem so I didn't care much. A month ago they started to itach more and I notice I have more bumps and they are kinda big. this week they were itching so much i was hurting myself by scratching so hard.
on Aug. 29th, I noticed 2 large bumps under the skin near my anus. They were not itching, but were painful only when I pressed on them. on Aug. 31st, I saw a doctor. She wasn't sure what it was, but she took a culture for yeast and did a test for STDs. Both came back negative, BUT the STD test would have been done too soon to detect herpes -- it takes 2-3 months for antibodies to appear in a blood test.
one possibility is Cushing's Syndrome or Cushing's Disease. Another is prophoria. These are not all that difficult to diagnose, but may not be on the mind of an internist who may just think women gain weight from emotional stuff (ie, eating to calm feelings a la Oprah). Another thing to check is medication side effects. I'm not certain about weight gain, but a pregnant looking belly can be from uterine fibroids.
