It's odd that both of these causes a symptom like sinus issues as each works differently. Hydrochlorothiazide is just a water pill that lowers BP by removing fluid from your system which will lower BP. I also think your current meds are a bit much, but I do not have a medical degree like your doctors so I would never second guess him. The ARB's work for me and have the fewest side effects, but everyone is different. I guess I would ask him why he has chosen your current meds.
I have been on 10mg plus a water pill for 4 months and felt normal, now all the sudden I have this out of breath and heaviness in my chest feeling. My blod pressure did take a dip into to 97/70 but I am pretty sure that's not causing me to feel this way since it also happens when my pressure is higher. I am just getting so frustrated and tired of not feeling well and nobody has any answers!
I never had a problem until I had my first baby and a week later my bp was 161/110 2nd baby after a week shot up to 191/110. Took forever to go down and was finally put on Azor 5/40 plus a water pill. I went off because my bp was normal after a year or 2, then one night I had a heavy chest, I took my bp and it was 180/108. What concerns me is my diastolic stays high, in the morning my bp can go down to 120/90, the disatolic remains high. or I get readings of 150/99 to 117/91.
Years ago, I have prescription for Benicar 20mg (OlmeSartin by Sankyo), but it costed me over $1 per pill per day. A bottle of 100 costs over $100. I was told Potassium Sparing Diuretic is not expensive addition to two others I am taking 1. Diltiazem extended release 240mg 2. Amlodipine 2.5mg Do you agree? Yes, I hate the effect of diuretic going to bathroom often. But I assume Diuretic HCT has the least long term side effect compare to all other blood pressure drugs.
The chief of staff at UAB, Birmingham, Alabama told me to always drink tons of water when taking Levaquin. I drink 32 oz. of water with every pill, and another 32 oz. during the day. Originally when I found out about the high BP, I took a prescribed water pill (can't think of the name), but it didn't work. I then decided to try and lower it myself by eating right, working out and taking plenty of natural pills (potassium, mag, cal, zinc, garlic and cinnimon on my oat meal) . My BP dropped from 150/95-100 to 130-135/ 85-90. Still I knew I needed to get it lower and that is when I got on Benicar HCT.

Recently, he decided that he couldn't handle the dizziness anymore so he went off of the meds entirely (w/o telling anyone). He got a stomach flu the following week, his BP went way up again (170/100) and he went to the doctor. the doctor gave him bystolic to try.. to see if the side effects would be any more manageable for him.

It first started in my legs, the symptoms are so bad that if you can imagine a cold sensation over the burning and intense prickling, its something you can't ignore, becasue it doesn't go. I said - h--, I know what is wrong with me, all I need to do is pray, talk to my family and find out what the heck is going on with me.
” If you soak in water long enough, protective oils get depleted from your skin. Water can leak in to your skin after awhile. In warm water like in a bathtub or pool, the thick skin on your fingers and toes tends to absorb water and swell. But this swelling doesn’t happen uniformly. Instead, the regions of skin that are most heavily anchored from below will remain lower than the more softened and swollen regions. The result – those temporary wrinkles on your fingers and toes.
The idea here is that we need more doctors and more hospitals, which means more another pill, another procedure, which always leads to another bill. Who benefits from that? Doctors, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. What do we get out of it? Side effects from the prescriptions and more medical bills.

There is one called Follicle Booster which is expensive, but helps a lot. And drink tons of water. Topamax is dehydrating and water will help the tingling sensations you get, along with the brain fog that comes with it. A couple of gallons of water a day will help. That's a lot, but you'll notice the difference. Plus you need to replenish your electrolytes with an occasional sports drink. Again, speaking from experience here. Good luck!
Beyond this point she will drink steadily until it is time to leave. I can’t remember her ever switching to water. It’s hard to generalize her behavior at this point other than to say that she will be the drunkest person at the wedding, dinner party or gathering. Throughout this entire period I have been looking for a chance to exit. There is a 50/50 chance that I can get her into the car without her calling me an anti-social party pooper loudly enough for folks to hear.
If you use a sinus rinse, which feels great, be sure to use distilled water to avoid the brain eating amoeba found in some tap water. This killed at least two people in Louisianna recently who used a sinus rinse with tap water. Good luck and let us know what works for any of you. I live in Kansas.

(I had a carbonated water with Splenda in it and thought I would have to go to the hospital the pain was so bad.) Since I have cut out Splenda (about a month now) the pain is now tolerable. They still don't know what is going on though - the OB/GYN says it is intestinal related and the gas doc says it is female related. Both say they took care of the problems the tests and scans showed. I'm about ready to slap them both! I also have pain from my belly button on down (both sides).

Then I had something I had only had tiny glimmers of prior -- I had a panic attack of the worst degree.
