azor and sexual dysfunction

I an 51 years old I visited about 3 neurologists in my lifetime since i was about 10 years old. the last neurologist put me on epilim and azor .5mg - it seem to keep the dizzyness away. if i became dizzy, I was down for quite a few heavy sleeping hours. as soon as i woke up, it was gone. I could never play netball in school, or go dancing with flashing lights etc. since about a year ago, i started having other symptoms as well.

Then I just got a 2nd opinion and this dr said to quit Atenolol,Isosobide and Ranexa and start Azor and Bystolic and he wants me to have a Cardiolite stress test. I really do not see an improvement with Azor and Bystolic-I think I have just as much angina maybe more on these 2 drugs. My question is what will stress test show that the heart cath didn't show?

i would have it checked . i just had mine done and i really stressed myself out over it . as its a easy fix if you do you might have to go back on meds no big deal if it stays high to long it can cause problems. your numbers are high the bottom should not be over 70 what they like but anything over 90 to high. mine has ran 182/94 but i was very stressed about it being high so it just keep going up.

CT scan shows no pancreas abnmormality. EGD just yesterday shows no ulcers.He has just taken me off the nexum, lipitor and azor. No ETOH, no NSAIDS etc. Every time I eat I have this pain. It is driving me crazy. I had been taking ibuprofin for the pain.

When it hurts I try to tolerate it so I can please him. But he is a horn dog and pushy. Then it came to a point, I started reducing sexual activity. I would tell him I'm having an outbreak and didn't want to fool around. he would say it doesn't matter cause he has herpes too. This went on for a lonnng time. I would explain my concerns and he would blow me off. We have many arguments about this and I am at my end, enough to end this relationship.

Till I was 60yrs my libido was fantastic and I was enjoying my sex fully.Suddenly after that I could see I loosing interest in sexual activity.My erection is fine and normally erected in the early morning.I am not getting the erge or impulse to initiate the sexual game.My wife is also quite frustrated but quite understanding. Pl advise what has gone wrong and how to regain my libido.I am not suffering from any desease as such.I am healthy and do my exersise regularly.

if depression causes sexual disfunctions, and then anti-depressants make it worse. What can be done to get back to normal state? I try to switch meds and all, i try viagra, levitra, cialis, but when the pills give me erection, there is no feeling. zero. does any1 have any idea what I should do to get my sex life back besides quitting all the anti-depressants?

When you say sexual dysfunction ,do you refer to an erectile and ejaculation problem? Do you experience any pain or deformity during erection or ejaculation? When you say "no erection", does this happen 100% of the time? Do you still get night time erections ? Have you any previous infections or prior surgeries or instrumentation of the genitalia? Any recent pain or problems with urination?

I plan at this point to wait and see if his sexual function does return and when it does, to point out (ever so subtely) that maybe the problem was related to Effexor rather than his age and it might help him focus on the benefits of being off Effexor while experiencing withdrawal. Again, thanks for letting me know Effexor related sexual dysfunction is not permanent. I will let you all know how it goes.

I recently stopped the flecainide and have had no significant a-fib that I can discern, although some skipped beats. I do continue to take bystolic and azor for high blood pressure. However, since discontinuing the flecanide, I have had what I would describe as a pounding heartbeat (not rapid), dizziness, and consistent blood pressure readings of 140s/50s.

m having this following side-effects - dizziness, sleepiness whole day, lack of interest and and concentration, bad mood, sexually charged dreams, erection problem and lack of libido or interest in sexual desire. I have a high libido by default. But I'm not feeling it since I took the medicines. I'm seeing sexually charged dreams but my lower part is not responding with it. Normally it does, for me and for everyone. I'm not even getting the morning-wood for last 5 days.

They do not seem to know where they are located and further if they traumatize them and leave you with no sensation they best they can do is say, oh you have got FSD (female sexual dysfunction) or dyspareunia. They can offer you no help. Further I found after seeking help from numerous doctors they really don't want to know about it and are not really able to explain anything to you. I am so sad to say I found them useless, ill informed and neither helpful or consoling.
