A friend had unprotected sex with a lady he had known for quite a while now, many days later he started discharge and experiencing acute penile itchiness. He took some Amoxil that was prescribed to him for a previous sinus infection, and the itchiness reduced drastically, the discharge stopped too. He thinks it's penile yeast infection, but I told him Amoxil makes yeast infection worse so it couldn't possibly be. He is too shy to go see a doctor. Can Amoxil cure yeast infection?
He has taken a multitude of oral antibiotics --Amoxil 875 Mg 2x day for 14 days, to straight penicillin, Rifampin 300 Mg 2x day for 10 days, Clindamycin. Nothing seems to rid him of these nodules or lower his ASO titer. Overall crummy feeling most of the time. Headaches, leg aches, joint aches, back ache, neck ache. Any suggestions?
Basically i have this rash on my penis that is red and raised up a little bit. Its a little bit itchy but not so bad that i feel the need to see the doctor immediately. It also doesnt match the symptoms or pictures i have been able to look up enough for me to think it is herpes. One thing to add is that i have 2 pubic follicles at the base of the penis that have never produced hair that became inflamed around the same time. I am sexually active but always use a condom.
Hi, about a year ago I had a filling in my upper right molar that broke and was re-drilled and replaced with a large filling. It's the tooth that's 2nd from the back not including the wisdom tooth which i had removed 5 years ago.
So, a year ago when I had it re-filled it was rather "sore" for a couple months, and I experienced and on and off low grade fever for many months as well.
When do the rash come in the body during ARS.? Is it specific like in 4 weeks after possible exposure or it can come anytime in 12 weeks.
And can somebody be able to tell me how do they look like and its nature.

By Friday she would not eat anything and screamed if we tried to use the mouth wash on a cotton swab. We took her to the doctor that day. They were not sure and put her on Amoxil. It is now Sunday she is still screaming when we go near her tooth/gums and is bleeding at the touch of the cotton swab
Her mother and I are worried and do not know what to do next. She has a follow up with the dentist on Wednesday this week. What should we do? Should the Amoxil be working if it is an infection?

OK so about early October or late September I developed a random blotchy rash that appeared all over my body almost instantaneously. They are non raised, non itchy, pinpoint etc
I have informed countless doctors that lymphoma runs in my family, I have very large growing lymph nodes, my stools have changed, these appear on my arms and legs.
My 13month old daughter has a rash all over her body, the doctor says that it is a viral infection. She has small raised bumps that are alittle red. I have had a test done so ill find out for sure soon, but im worried now because theres a sort of rash at the top of my right leg. There little bumps and theres also some on my stomach on the right side as well. Is this a concern? Im not sure exactly how long its been there. I know its said if you get any symptons it happens the first 2-4 weeks, although this is 15 weeks ago is it still possible symptons can show up?
t been feeling that great and the doc prescribed Prevacid at 30mg twice a day along with 1g of Amoxil and Biaxin. My H. Pylori test came back negative so I could stop the Amoxil and Biaxin. It might take a while but he tells me it will work.
On the other hand, a friend of mine had severe reflux and the doc prescribed Protonix. It worked so well that they were able to get off of it and only use it when they feel a flare up coming on (every couple months).
His platelets are normal now at 172 and the petechial rash has stopped. Still has ULQ tenderness/fullness which she said she had no idea why. Has a huge swollen lymph node at the angle of his left jaw. The area has some pinkness over the surface of swelling, still with extreme fatigue, bilat. hip and knee pain, loss of appetite, an occasional degree of fever but nothing over 100f. The FNP decided to try a round of abx...amoxil...to see if it helps?!
