I'm on zoloft and I sometimes take my moms vicodin/percocet for pain and I'm just wondering is it safe to take these combinations together?
Basically:
Zoloft+Vicodin= safe?
Zoloft+Percocet= safe?
Will the Vicodin or Percocet decrease the effects of the Zoloft? OR can it cause permanent brain damage?
I took 2 Vicodin's a couple days ago and then took 1 Zoloft pill an hour later and I started to feel weird/loopy. Could I have caused permanent brain damage?
So I'm currently on treatment for H. Pylori and taking Lanzoprazole 30mg+Amoxicillin 1g+Claritromicin 500mg, and I want to take a vitamin and mineral supplementation, my question is, will there be any interaction between this treatment and the supplementation?
A tooth infection should be treated appropriately to prevent spread of infection. The usually preferred antibiotics are amoxicillin, clindamycin, penicillins and metrogyl.Azithromycin may raise serum methadone levels and/or increase the effects of methadone. they put my on antibiotics and viccodine ..this morning i felt better and at 12noon took my norvasc 5mg pill then around 5pm i stared felling clammy and hot and noticed my breathing was wierd..then when i went to the train to get a transit card my heart was beating outta my chest just for walking up the train station stairs...when i got home my bp was 143 over 100 and my heart rate was 104...

They did a re-treatment on the tooth. My dentist had put on me on pain meds and amoxicillin. two days after the retreatment I was in horrible pain. I went back to the endo to have an I&D done. My face was very swollen for two days. They then switched my meds to clindamycin(2 rounds) The swelling has gone away mostly but there is still a little swollen area near the tooth where the I&D was done. Every day it is an improvement but it still hurts.
If I suspect Mono, and took a 3 day course of Amoxicillin (10 pills) and developed no rash, can I pretty much rule out mono?
Some sources state 80-90% of those taking Amoxicillin with Mono develop the rash, while I've even seen 99% as a percentage.
I actually want it to be Mono, instead of something worse, but I'm starting to fear the worst.
Have any of you had Mono, been misdiagnosed with Strep and took Amoxicillin, and NOT get the rash?
May 15 I developed an abscess. They can't get me in to get the 2 teeth pulled until June 25th. The next day, my cheek was the size of a baseball and the meds weren't helping. I went to th ER. Dr numbed it, cut a slit in it, gave me dilaudid &zophran, &sent me home with vicodin. RELIEF!
June 3 it was back. I went to the dentist June 5. He couldn't see me. They called in 825mg amoxicillin 2x a day &the weakest dose of vicodin.
Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. My doctor believes I have a sinus infection, hence the Amoxicillin prescription. I did not mention my unsafe sexual encounter to my doctor and I am not having any outward symptoms of any kind of STD.
My question is, can you tell me what if any STD the Amoxicillin would cure if I did contract one from my friend?

I am trying to get my daughter to take Amoxicillin for a throat infection. She won't swallow the capsule. Is it ok to break the pink and blue A45 Amoxicillin capsule in half and mix it in applesauce?
This sounds like it has 100% to do with the Amoxicillin, and not Mono combined with Amoxicillin and so forth.
Amoxicillin can cause joint pain although this is not a common side effect, but can occur and should NOT be permanent, but temporary.
If this hasn't subsided, this definitely needs to be further investigated by your physician.

I stopped taking vicodin and had some methadone to help with withdrawal. I've taken methadone for about a week now and have just a couple left. I've taken 1.5 for a day or 2 and then 1.25 for 3 days. I have 1.25 left.
My question is, will I have withdrawals from the vicodin even though it's been over a week since i've been off them or did the methadone just mask that withdrawal? Also, will I now have withdrawals from the methadone?
m not sure what kind you would see for this, maybe an ear, nose and throat doctor. And if the first round of amoxicillin didn't work, you may need something more. The Z-pack is pretty strong and amoxicillin not so much. I don't know much about these kinds of things, but I know my pcp uses stronger meds for sinus infections and bronchitis.
As far as improving your relationship with your doctor, do you feel like you don't have a good relationship? That's so important.
I typically take 2 grams of amoxicillin before all dental procedures (and some medical ones, too) due to Mitral Valve Prolapse with regurgition and a PFO in the heart.
I am currently taking a round of amoxicillin for another problem (strep throat, 2 pills twice a day for 10 days.) These will be finished on this Friday.
I postponed my regularly scheduled teeth cleaning/check-up, because it was only a few weeks away. I re-scheduled it for one month from the end of this amoxicillin treatment.
With the peridex i think i can make it through the last 15 weeks w/out getting it pulled until after he is born. He told me to pour it in the cup thing and take a qtip and stick it on the place where it hurts. I do that then i rinse my whole mouth with whats left in the cup cuz i got a few more bad teeth that arent painful yet.
However I recently had a sinus infection and took Amoxicillin for 7 days. Here it is, 2 weeks after stopping the Amoxicillin, I am having severe heartburn again. Did the antibiotic have anything to do with this?
I saw the dentist and started taking amoxicillin about 30 hours ago. I have a root canal scheduled a week from now. But the pain is as intense as it was prior to starting the treatment. I do have type II diabetes treated with diet and pills. I know this can prolong infections. But wow, I sure would like the pain to decrease. I'm taking vicodin and it still hurts!
