acne cyst on neck

I got what looks like a cyst on the back of my neck about a year and a half ago and i get what looks like cyst acne on my face and neck and my girlfriend just told me she has a cyst on her armpit it looks like the same thing is this anything serious

I had an acne spot under my chin that took a while to go down, it was under he skin so I couldn't pop it....anyway it eventually subsided but now I'm left with a tiny lump under the skin where the spot used to be...it's difficult to feel most of the time, I have to stretch my neck to feel it and it not visible on the surface at all. I am concerned about it now as its not gone and is still there 8 months or so on from the acne...what could this be?

Something that might be connected, is, for last year and a half I have been getting a reocurring cyst/boil in crease on back of my neck. It comes up in very warm weather, to the size of a large marble. It is painful and eventually bursts with pus. Although it has gone down at the moment, there is a very small lump under the skin and it is scarred. I have read on forum of Bartholin cysts and wondered if it is this.

I have had this problem for years, with no known reason why/how it began. What happens is I'll first feel a bump or two on my face or neck. They're under-the-skin, non-itchy, painless, skin-colored bumps that swell when I touch (or, guilty, pick!) them and also begin to spread to a cluster. I don't think they're pimples - from what I know, cysts are painful and movable, which these are neither of.

I have no clue where to put this, but I need help. I'm a 19 year old female, I haven't had any medical problems except a couple years ago I had gallstones and had my gallbladder removed. I went to a skin doctor yesterday, who told me it was a cyst, but not acne and because the nature of it (being enlarged and swollen) he put me on an anti-biotic called levaquin, one pill a day/for seven days. Then, he told me if that doesn't work, that I may have to go the emergency room and have it removed. I'm due to get my cobra insurance, so I may seek a second opinion if the levaquin fails to reduce the swelling.

IF it persists for more than a few weeks, then you should get it checked out. It otherwise may go away on its own. It also could be a cyst, which also could go away on its own. IF you feel the lump is getting larger or if it does not resolve, then get it checked out. good luck.

Treatment of AKN includes suppression of the inflammation with antibiotics and steroid gels or intralesional steroid injections. So apply antibiotic cream like Neosporin or bactroban.

I have a 'lump' on the back/left side of my neck. It's like a pimple/blackhead, but it hasn't gone away for a long time. Well, the last 6 months or so, I try to squeeze it and only a little fluid comes out (when I say little, I mean very small amount), but it stinks. It stinks REALLY badly. Hi all, I'm a 19 year old male. Relatively healthy. When I got up this morning I noticed that there was some kind of bump on my back in the left shoulder area. It doesn't itch and is not painful, it looks a little raised but flat surface. It's just there and doesn't look like any pimple that I have had. I use to have sebaceous cysts so I took accutane a few years ago and that cleared up most of my cysts and acne, but I now get cysts on the right side of my neck. I have 2 right now that are probably 3-5cm and movable, but painless. Not sure if these are related to my armpit bumps or not. Is it normal to be able to feel the small bumps under the armpits? I've had doctors check there and they never said anything about them. Going to see a dermatologist soon for my neck cysts.

I have this bump on my upper right arm. I've had it for about 4 years. If I squeeze it, a white puss like hard material comes out (somewhat like a pimple). When looking at this "bump", it actually looks like a crater, as there is a pin hole in the middle of it. Any idea what this is?

I have had lumps below my hairline that turned out to be sebaceous cysts, an infected hair follicle I believe, it's almost like a pimple but deeper and bigger and can hurt a LOT. So My cat has these scabs on his neck. I just found out a month ago he has feline acne. I switched to ceramic bowls and he has done so much better. No scabs on his chin or mouth, but now he has large scabs on his neck. I switched food to see if that would help. I am pretty sure he doesn't have flees. I check regularly. Is there anything i can do. I am taking him to the vet in a week, but would like advice in the meen time.
