I picked up VRE while in the hospital which was treated with 14 days of IV Zyvox. The VRE came back, in my urine, and I was hospitalized again last week and put back on Zyvox (oral this time). I am also on IV clindamycin and azithromycin, and a long list of other medications. While in the hospital they did daily blood work, of course, and my results have gotten progressively worse. They told me to follow up with my pcp, but my pcp is pretty much useless.
I also had MRSA and have just found out that I am a MRSA carrier although, I am not infected at the moment.I also have RA and take 7.5 mg of Mexotraxate one time per week. My new orthopedic surgeon called my RA doctor and said hey, need to back off the Mexotraxaate and ALL steriod shots until the foot has healed. My RA doctor concurred. Now, the Orthopedic surgeon was okay with me taking the Medrol which is "Tablets contain methylprednisolone which is a glucocorticoid.

As luck and God would have it, I had been taking amoxicillian before all this happened so I thought "why not finish it, nothing else has worked". I knew when I took the amox, I had started to feel better. I talked my local PA into putting me on 8 weeks of it and low and behold, I have tested negative 2x.
I did not want to take the medicine, but realize that i did suffer from depression and other things, and for me this drug really works, and it does not make me feel high or groggy (maybe for a little while in the beginning) but it all leveled out, now looking back at my life i realize that i do need this medicine, and if i could not take the zoloft i would be trying to find something that works, that is how much this antidepressant has changed my life......
Now I have been here another 6 days (total of 12 days sick) and have been on about 3 different IV antibiotics from Zyvox, Zosyn, to Levaquin and am on breathing treatments. Now both x-rays and CT scans are showing it has spread to both of my lungs and has gotten much worse. I also now have a horrible cough. My white blood cell count has remained normal and are not elevated, which indicates my immune system is not responding and Dr's can't explain why.

Just looking for anymore information or advise about withdraws from Fioricet / I have been taking this medication from years from Migrain headaches, it's seemed the longer I was on it the less it helped so I would increase my doses because I could not get rid of my headaches the other day I just stopped using it because it was like just this non stop headache.
I took him off the lithium thinking that was the cause because after doing research sleeping all the time was something major with that drug. I was also thinking that it could be the Coreg because they up the dose last time he saw the doctor but that has had time to get in his system and not be the problem. I have a friend who is majorly addicted to oxycotin 80mg. I'm really clueless about this drug and he has asked me for help. From Friday to Sunday he's taken 16 pills by mouth or my snorting them. I don't know if this is a high dose or not, I'm really clueless. He says he's become tolerant to the medication and has to snot them now just to get a "high".
