Avatar f tn Has anyone had success with the yoga ball or exercise ball on inducing labor ?
Avatar f tn Learning how to breathe was helpful to me and learning ways and positions to get better rest. I would suggest going to a class where you can drop in and take the sessions as you want. Plus you want the right environment, such as small classes and a instructor who is patient. Good luck!
Avatar f tn m happy, i found old capris and other pants i forgot about in my closet, i had stopped wearing them since they had gotten too big on me - now they fit!

Avatar f tn Ok so I have literally 5 days till my due date and I have no signs of going into labor any time soon, so I'm wondering if a yoga ball will help me to open my hips wider to help him drop. Has it worked for anybody else?

Avatar m tn Medications can cause sleepwalking in some people as well, so that might be an issue. In any event, Ruby is right -- you'd best see someone before you hurt yourself. And you'll rest better too.
Avatar n tn i have severe pressure in both sides of my head and my eyes feel heavy this happens when i lie down what could this be ?
Avatar f tn I used it during labor. I have a yoga ball..
Avatar n tn I bounced on a yoga ball. Never got her to drop tho. She had to much amniotic fluid protecting her head from descending. Had to wait until my water broke before labor even started.
Avatar f tn With your second baby they take longer to drop sometimes they don't drop till just before you go into labour so I wouldn't stress, it's so uncomfortable once they drop into your pelvis anyway. My baby has always been low so hard to know, I think she has though...second babyand 10 days left. If you really wanna get your baby moving I would just suggest lots of walking, bouncing on a gym ball or maybe even having a dance around to some music for a bit try and wiggle your baby down.

Avatar f tn I have been sleeping with a light on for many years, and had gotten a loft bed last year and was still sleeping with the main room light on, which is 4 light bulbs on my ceiling fan, in February, I had started seeing like an after image of my veins, it was the same image, and had been improving. but would appear if i strained my neck. but i am reading that neck strains cannot really affect optic nerves.
649848 tn?1534633700 Good morning everyone. How are we doing this morning? It's kind of a dreary day here and I think we're supposed to get some rain later today... ugh!! We've had several rather cloudy days and I need my sunshine!! The week has been quiet, which I'll take. Tuesday, we had our woodworking club meeting so now I have to get the newsletter done for the month. Thursday evening, I went to a play my granddaughter is in.
Avatar n tn i want to ask that if yoga therapy is the best way of losing weight.
Avatar f tn There are certain things you can't do in a regular yoga class, but it depends on how far along you are. You can do everything through your first Trimester. Starting with your second Trimester you can't be laying on you belly or doing cross body twists. As soon as you get a bump going you should not be laying flat on your back because it will restrict blood flow. Be very careful standing up and if you start to get hot or dizzy take a break. Tell the instructor you are pregnant.
Avatar f tn t strong enough to indicate any reason I was in labor, (even tho my contractions felt like they were ripping a hole through me and i was in tears lol) when I got to the hospital at 9 pm they were five minutes apart and I was only dilated 2 cm. They told me they would check me again and if there were no changes i had to go home. So i got up and started doing jumping jacks and squats lol. By 8 AM the next morning they were 2 minutes apart and I was dilated 6 cm, gave birth that day!
Avatar f tn I had to be induced at 40 weeks and 3 days. Although I believe bouncing on the yoga ball helped my son drop because I only had to push for 20 minutes. Every one is different.
Avatar f tn s prenatal yoga in YouTube. Its about half an hour video and she has simplified the asanas for pregnant women. I would recommend watching and doing one asana at a time so that you get the right muscles to work on. Don't forget to ask your doctor before starting and generally its a good idea to start and end the yoga with pranayam exercises like om-vilom, for warm up and cool down. Its not part of the video but you can find them too on you tube. all the best.
