I was also a size 3 before getting prego. Size small in yoga pants. I still can wear all of my stretchy shirts but im getting ready to go to medium in the yoga pants.

My husband took me maternity a few days ago when he saw how uncomfortable I was sitting down in my jeans. I'm showing at 9w5d AND I'm bloated, so even though I have lost 10 lbs in the first trimester (due to morning sickness), none of my pants fit. I already had bought new, bigger bras because my boobs hurt so much. Move into maternity pants as soon as you feel the pressure of your waistband. Maternity pants are SO comfortable.

If ur jeans fit in thighs just dont button up I use a hair elastic to loop through and just wear long shirts I also started wearing maxi dresses quite a bit with my 1st.

Not sure how long I was in regular clothes but as of now my wardrobe consists of nothing but yoga pants t shirts sweatpants and tank tops haha

When is it acceptable to start wearing maternity clothing? I'm around 13 weeks and have a tiny tummy pooch which makes it really uncomfortable to wear any of my old clothes. I am sending you an inbox message as I have the name of a couple highly recommended doctors in Calgary who treat LD. They are NPs but able to prescribe antibiotics and herbals. My understanding is that we're not supposed to mention doctor's names on this forum. Perhaps someone else can clarify this. I'm in Canada also and know of at least one person in Calgary using the doctor's I'm going to recommend to you.

They really improve your hearing ability. And I think doing yoga is really good. The different postures in yoga help provide the neck with a good workout. Try it out for some months and please let me know if there is improvement. Take care.

If u do decide to wear maternity clothing, go with smalls. I was a size 4 in jeans and typically a size small in shirts. My jeans started feeling tight early on but didn't get a belly until i was like 18 weeks and I am almost 25 weeks now. Hope this helps!

I was wearing the same sizes and was in jogging pants by 8 weeks. I had only gained 4 pounds. I just didn't like the pressure on my belly. Now I have 2 pairs of maternity jeans and they have been the best money I have spent to date. I am 15 weeks and 4 days now and I feel much better about myself in my jeans then I did in jogging pants.

It depends on brands too because everything is measured and cut differently.. even in pregnancy clothing im a medium to xlarge depending on store (and I weigh 82kg). Definitely agree with maxi skirts & dresses.
