NOOO dont listen to that lady tryingfor6years on the yasmin birth control im in the process of sueing yasmin to see if i can get any kind of money from it!! after i stoped taken yasmin my stomach issues have gone away! i was in the hospital with ivs in me and cat scans etc... dont get yasmin there are reports of it on the internet etc. that product is going to be no longer sold as a birth control product.

Last oct30 me and my bf had grinding and no penetration and absolutely precum only, the next day i started to take Yasmin pills, because I'm afraid that I might get pregnant. I stopped within 7 days. Then on nov15-16 I had this bleeding I don't know if it is my period. I am afraid. (on first day it is dark and not heavy the second day it is light red and just like my period but not heavy) After that I'm still having the pms symptoms.

I see that the one hormone is the same but the other ethinylestradiol in YAz is 0.02 and in Yasmin is 0.03. What does this mean and is it safe to give her?

Im 28 and have never been pregnant slightly overweight but not too concerred and getting it back down periods were always regular and pain free went on for birth control, my husband has 1 child already and decided to start are own family.

t had pains or cramps, but I had light headaches. But, that was just during the first two days of my period. The last few months I have awful headaches and not only during my period. Headaches are one of the side effects of BCP, so I suppose that's the reason... I posted "Yasmin and headaches" on the forum, but I didn't get any answer to the post... However, if the pains are constant you should talk to your doctor just in case.

My periods were lighter the first few years with Yasmin, but after that there is no difference than regular periods; my periods are sometimes lighter, sometimes heavier... It depends. But, when you are taking birth control your body and the whole menstruation process is not natural, because is controlled by the pills, so it reflects on your organism (phisically), but also on the mood etc.

ve been getting this brownish, light pink bleeding from my vagina that last for a couple of hours a day. sometimes its very light like the end of a period but other times its light but thick. It's very likely is that your body is just trying to adjust. I'm not sure about Yasmin in particular, but from what I've learned the average time for a body to regulate itself after coming of a BC pill is about 6 months. I came off the pill and haven't had a regular cycle since and it's been 2 years now. That's likely just that my natural cycles are irregular though... I hope your issues resolve soon!

It has been 3 months and everything was normal with the newer pill but i then went back to the chemist an got my normal one yasmin as it had the days written on it and i felt more comfortable with it knowing which day was which. I am just about to finish my first pack, in 3 days i should have my period.. fingers crossed.

I had smaller problems with my left ovary, so after the lap and in the next 5 years I was on YASMIN pills for stopping the endo from growing. After these 5 years I had a punctuation done, because one of the cysts became bigger and after that I was on ZOLADEX shots for six months (in a condition of menopause - awful side effects!!!). I was still worried so i took 2 Yasmin combination pill on day 5 and 2 Yasmin pills on day 6. I did not take the pill after that. Ever since I have had heart burn and stomach ache, belching and pain between the shoulders. I usually have a 30-32 day cycle. Today, I am day 17 of my cycle and been bleeding for 4 days now. MED HELP Doctors forum opined that it may be due to irregular use of Yasmin in high doses those 2 days.

But they are the last 2 pills in the 3rd week. If finish all the active pills then I start my period on Sunday (the last day of the inactive pills) and thats annoying.

I'm at the age when I should not even have this problem, in fact I never did before, but lately I've been experiencing acne on my face. Anyone knows about good birth control pill as far as skin is concerned? I have tried many already, but they don't seem to work... thanks for any suggestions. I did went to dermatologist and don't want to be taking antibiotics for the reas of my life..

I take Marvelon21 and have since my surgery 4yrs ago. I am wondering if its the ingredients in the yasmin that could be doing it besides the progestin and estrogen? Where you taking it continuously with the yasmin 21 or the 28 day? MARVELON21 contains the below ingredients Each white, round tablet contains desogestrel 0.15 mg and ethinyl estradiol 0.03 mg.

I don't know for sure, but I think that Yasmin prevents ovulation and it makes harder for sperm to reach uterus (it is harder for the fertilized egg to attach to the uterus). I have read this: The primary mechanism of Yasmin is inhibition of ovulation.

In that 8 days you should get your period. On the 8th day you start the new pack of Yasmin. And every time the same. That's the process. When you want to end taking them for good you just stop taking them or consult a doctor if they are prescribed like some kind of therapy. Take care!

I gave birth on the 14th may 2017, didnt have any contraception until the 2nd of september the first day of my period it is now the 12th of september & i am still on my period im taking yasmin can anyone help please?

I am still on the pill as my Doctor told me that it is normal to spot lightly while on the pill. But after reading so many comments here on the Yasmin pill, most of them negative, I am confused. I too have very very low sex drive and felt sharp pain during sex. I also have very bad moodswing and depression. I dont know what to do. Please advise me what i should do next. Should i stop taking the pill ? Would i have problem conceiving after stopping the pilll.

i just began taking yasmin today (never taken birth control before). so just now i began doing my research on yasmin, and it seems that the side effects are crazy! i cant say anything because this is only my day. i know pills work differently for everyone but i am really quite scared. what should i do? anyone have any good stories about yasmin??

ve had like a never ending light period for a reallyyyy long time, and the pill is supposed to keep me from getting my period for every three months. so it's really not feeling much better. I was just wondering how the pill is supposed to help.
